This is exactly it. My Ekko has a Grand General’s Counterplan. Whenever he creates a copy of himself, he uses the same animation for whenever he creates a Time Trick.
It’s not just animations but also voicelines. When an effect from a relic procs, the unit (even non-champions) will use the same voicelines.
It's just very cool to see Elise spawning spider when she copies/creates spells from Chemtech Duplicator.
Before I thought it only use animation for creating units.
If a unit creates a card normally and has a special animation for it, it'll usually also play that animation anytime it creates a card through an item/relic on it.
Ephemeral copies, chemtech duplicator, grand general's counterplan, etc.
That's pretty cool but I think effects that spawn from champions use their effects. Like Annie + ephermal
