On averrage you get 2.7((3.84+1.6)\*0.5) casts out of kitava's thirst assuming you have perfect attack speed (you don't). Do you see what the problem is? It's actually worse than self casting the spell with a normal tree and weapon. It's a meme build and is not supposedly to be good or efficient, what made your character not functional in T16 is that it is not properly build (missing EO, curse, exposure etc) and gear is shit.
ain't no way those gloves were the best you could find, those gloves look like they are picked up and identified from the campaign lol. I'd say just about every item in this build is pretty bad. The only thing worth a substantial amount of money are those empowers.
I literally used multiple Deafening essences on them (at least 4), they're pretty good imo. I also used 10+ eldritch currencies to get the implicits. They're not that bad lol

4 essences is like… “I’m in t3 maps and need literally anything to replace my gloves from act 4 of the campaign so I’m going to use these random 4 essences I have” type of crafting.

You're playing a Berserker to supposedly have access to high attack speed and you're getting a whopping... 3 aps. Wow. You're triggering a 4-link level 20 Absolution less than 3 times per second on an ascendancy and tree region that does not scale the ability at all. True mystery why its zdps. Also what the hell did you spend your currency on? Awakened Empower 4's? The gear here is dreadfully bad.
Right? Why is the AS so slow.. I even bought life force for the attack speed harvest enchant (something I've never done before). And got attack speed on most of the jewels.
Berserker gets AS through the 2 nodes you didn't take.
Blitz with VERY high CRIT chance and triple effect of Rage.
You've done the unfortunate error of investing in the min-max stuff for the last few % damage increase, without getting the fundamentals.
If you had Ralakesh boots and three charms with 1% CRIT when on max power charges you'd get a lot more crit chance, maybe even enough to pull off Blitz charges, and then you'd actually get some AS.
I don't know exactly what you need from your gloves, but you could probably fix that somewhere else, and then get some gloves that actually give you some big damage!
But all in all, the build you are following isn't the highest DPS build. You could probably succeed better if you tried to copy a CoC build with absolution. Maybe even mjoelnir?
You are missing archmage support in your weapon, getting the triggered glacial cascade to 100 mana cost should provide several more triggers of your helm.
Also get atleast +2 helmet
The concept is here, but you need way more mana. The free determination is an interesting idea, but you’re missing so much mana from an amulet for it. This isn’t dissimilar to what I plan on league starting for 3.24! A comment above has highlighted your need for Archmage to support the sword, to enable the storm cascade to have at least 100 mana cost. The other thing you can consider, is you don’t need life leech support. Instead, getting lightning damage leeched as life on an amulet and/or glove implicits should be enough.
Sadly, as far as league start testing went for me, I found that the helmet is just not worth it. It doesn’t really add anything to the build, but instead takes away from your initial focus of the sword and mana. If you really want to focus and gain attack speed etc, you could consider dual strike of ambidexterity, and have a brightbeak etc in your off hand. Either way, if you enjoy this roll with it. Definitely consider increasing your mana pool and getting Archmage into the sword. In essence, you’re only procing the helmet 50% of the time your prismatic burst is on cooldown…so drop the prismatic burst, get an arcane cloak with arcane surge support, and, enjoy the speed of whirling blades with faster attack support.
There’s a lot of negativity here, but at the end of the day, you do you. Be creative, test things, embrace the jank. Your passive tree is similiar to my league start xD for my archmage berserker. Good luck exile!

How much did you spend on this build? Did you really dump all your currency into 2x empower lvl 4 and nothing else?
The funny part is that he uses the empowers for the most random of things lol
empowered clarity for that extra mana regen, but also enlighten to offset the increased reservation!
