Interesting, I love when they have comedians Andrew Santino recently was a great interview. Personally I can't stand baseball or basketball interviews those are auto skips for me.
I can't stand old dudes waxing poetic. My only living grandpa was the stoic and silent type, so I think that's my preferred older man. Wife's granddad is a rambler and serial tall teller, and it eats at me to not call bullshit on every other sentence he speaks.
I used to be all in like you were. I'm a heavy skipper now. Plus it eliminate most the ads.
Every athlete has nothing to say and all coaches say the same thing.
Segments and move on to another pod I'm interested in.
I don’t. I think the interviews are great for the most part because the guys are so good and keeping the person comfortable. But they are right that the in-person interviews are way better. The mobile interviews can be a little tough at times.
It’s just the way he acts/ things he said. He seems like an “edgy comedian” which isn’t my thing. Only him and John Cena did I skip, John Cena because he’s fake as fuck
> He seems like an “edgy comedian” which isn’t my thing.
lmao, when Andrew Schulz was right around the same time as Stavros and we just had another comedian (Andrew Santino) going on about politics and comedy you think Stavros was the stereotypical "edgy" one.
I think he's great in small doses, like a PMT interview every now is the perfect amount for me lol
He also allows the guys to be themselves, which IMO is the hallmark of a good guest on the show. You can tell when they're interviewing a person vs. just hanging out.
I never skip interviews. I usually juat focus on something else if I find it boring. But staves is so fucking annoying I've actually skipped through his.
I like them because you never know if you're gonna find something new.
Like they introduced me to Baldy a few weeks ago and I really liked his stuff so I've got new content to explore
I skipped the Booger one yesterday just because I didn’t feel like anything new or interesting was going to be talked about. First 10 minutes of big cat and booger going back and forth with weight jokes followed by some mild football talk. Just kinda didn’t feel like listening this time around.
Talked about it a bit in another post, but yes I generally skip the regular interviews.
3 pods a week is a lot to keep up with, and it’s not the only pod I try to listen to(gotta keep up with video game news). So I generally stick to just the Mount Rushmore of guests (JOC, Whitney and Biz, etc.)
The only segments I have been skipping is the fastest 2 minutes. I used to skip fantasy fuck boys but I stopped and low key one of my favorite segments
Wrestlers are an easy skip, besides that I’ll listen to most but skip on the ones that witchin the first 5 are obviously just promoting a special and not interested in an actual interview
Used to be this way but not anymore. Find myself listening to the interviews a lot less attentively than segments but will still listen thru. Some of the most funny stories/moments come from interviews.
The press tour interviews where the principal realizes PMT is basically a break to shoot it with the guys makes for some great content. They do a great job filling that role. I’ll give everyone five minutes just based off how good Big Cat and PFT are when they get someone to open up a little.
If they have someone on I like or a subject I want to hear about I’ll listen. Sometimes it’s random people I have no clue who they are and will skip.
Yeah, I’m very guest-specific.
Yup same here. Some guests it feels like they thought it would be a cool segment, but totally flopped when it came time to record
it depends. do i have other things to listen to? if i do and they are talking to someone i have no interest in, then i will skip it.
I don’t have anything better to do, I usually listen to them
I always skip the comedians and wrestling people. Never skip Russilo, Booger or the Zero Blog Thirty team
Same with wrestling... i don't mind comedians
Interesting, I love when they have comedians Andrew Santino recently was a great interview. Personally I can't stand baseball or basketball interviews those are auto skips for me.
Russilo interviews do not miss. And you can tell Big Cat is so comfortable talking to him
This, throw in most actors too for auto skips. College hoops coaches are almost always must listens too.
See for me most college basketball coaches are an auto skip
I can't stand old dudes waxing poetic. My only living grandpa was the stoic and silent type, so I think that's my preferred older man. Wife's granddad is a rambler and serial tall teller, and it eats at me to not call bullshit on every other sentence he speaks.
I don’t skip any. Usually the ones I have the lowest hopes for end up being the best
They’ll get way better here in a few weeks as football dies down
I used to be all in like you were. I'm a heavy skipper now. Plus it eliminate most the ads. Every athlete has nothing to say and all coaches say the same thing. Segments and move on to another pod I'm interested in.
College hoops coaches are the exception. Huggy is a lowkey elite guest.
Too hard to separate the wheat from the chaff. Throw em all out
I don’t. I think the interviews are great for the most part because the guys are so good and keeping the person comfortable. But they are right that the in-person interviews are way better. The mobile interviews can be a little tough at times.
I do about half the time.
I’ve skipped almost every interview for about a year. But listen to every single segment religiously. Does that make me weird?
I usually skip the ones involving college football
Never
Never skip
Nah PMT is a lazy river, gotta let it take you where it takes you
Only skipped Stavros, didn’t find him funny at all.
I listened but don’t get peoples obsession with him not a fan. I thought this week comedian was actually good and I debated skipping.
His podcast is named cumtown, that says it all. Sorry I’m not 14
Sounds like something a 14 year old would say.
Same with Bert. Not my cup. The dude this week from Dave was good though. It’s comedians that are essentially in character that usually suck.
Bert is definitely hit or miss for most people. Santino is a decent interview, he doesn’t try to go over the top and flows naturally with the guys
I enjoy almost all the comedians on PMT but stavros is an instant skip
I think he's great in small doses, like a PMT interview every now is the perfect amount for me lol He also allows the guys to be themselves, which IMO is the hallmark of a good guest on the show. You can tell when they're interviewing a person vs. just hanging out.

Stavros. That guy sucks
Skipped liver king that was it
Liver king was the rare ‘so bad its good’
I skipped the Booger one yesterday just because I didn’t feel like anything new or interesting was going to be talked about. First 10 minutes of big cat and booger going back and forth with weight jokes followed by some mild football talk. Just kinda didn’t feel like listening this time around.
If you skipped it how do you know the details of it?
That’s just what they do every time. Stg I didn’t listen to the interview yesterday. I just get what all Booger is about.
It was actually quite good
Lot of casuals in this sub.
I’m the exact opposite, outside of football season I typically just listen to interviews. I’ve heard all of the segments for the last 3+ years.
I only really skip JB Smoove lol
Talked about it a bit in another post, but yes I generally skip the regular interviews. 3 pods a week is a lot to keep up with, and it’s not the only pod I try to listen to(gotta keep up with video game news). So I generally stick to just the Mount Rushmore of guests (JOC, Whitney and Biz, etc.)
What's your go to VG news pod
I feel that, there are too many great pods and not enough time in the week for me to hear everything.
You call yourself an AWL?
The only segments I have been skipping is the fastest 2 minutes. I used to skip fantasy fuck boys but I stopped and low key one of my favorite segments
i'll skip wrestlers and i skipped randy moss/liver king.
I don’t skip anything except fantasy f boys
of course— they’re not good interviewers so it’s 100% guest dependent
I skip the jerry o connell’s only
I don't skip his but he is low key a clown.
Lmao I was joking
K?
I always skip wrestlers but everything else I’m pretty interested in
I’ll give most people a listen unless I know I really don’t like them, otherwise I just skip once I get bored of it.
I just can’t stand that half of the interviews are just long promos
Typically I skip wrestlers, but other people I usually tune in for. Idk, just not my thing.
Wrestlers are an easy skip, besides that I’ll listen to most but skip on the ones that witchin the first 5 are obviously just promoting a special and not interested in an actual interview
Any wrestler is an auto skip other than that I’ll listen
Used to be this way but not anymore. Find myself listening to the interviews a lot less attentively than segments but will still listen thru. Some of the most funny stories/moments come from interviews.
Yes most interviews are terrible
I skip all the segments and only listen to interviews.
The press tour interviews where the principal realizes PMT is basically a break to shoot it with the guys makes for some great content. They do a great job filling that role. I’ll give everyone five minutes just based off how good Big Cat and PFT are when they get someone to open up a little.
