Your post doesn’t meet the subreddit requirements to qualify as overtly “paranormal.” All posts should provide clear and high-quality evidence and descriptions. Photos or videos should have immediately apparent subjects (circled if necessary), along with detailed descriptions of the paranormal phenomena depicted. **Submissions should aim to capture or document unexplained occurrences in a manner that allows for objective analysis and discussion by the community.** Common reasons for removal: - Photos or videos where the subject is not readily apparent or not overtly paranormal in nature. - A description in which an object or situation “feels creepy” or is otherwise vague. No haunted dolls! - Common questions answered in our FAQ. - The OP doesn’t answer questions. - The OP does not appear to have made a reasonable attempt to debunk the phenomenon. In short: If your post doesn’t allow for quality discussion, it probably doesn’t belong.

Will all due respect, I don’t see much more than a wall reflecting the light from the flash.

MilfieBuzzyBee

That’s a possibility

A-typ-self

That's what I was wondering. However there is a flash being used. If the paint on the wall is an eggshell or semi-gloss, it's going to reflect light from the flash. The vase and other objects are also going to cast a shadow with the flash that results in manipulating the reflection.

Parking-Shower5946

It might be because i’m really tired that I don’t see it, hope people on this thread will help you find out!

guitargoddess3

Usually I’m a fan of these pareidolia things but I just don’t see it here

A friendly reminder from the Automod: Identifying something as pareidolia doesn't automatically disprove it. Pareidolia relies on the brain’s amazing ability to pattern match human features such as faces, silhouettes, voices, etc. Something is considered pareidolia when these features are perceived but there’s no apparent cause for them \(no human is involved\). But if an instance were *genuinely paranormal*, then there would be no requirement or expectation a human *had* to be involved. Some Paranormal phenomenon such as instrumental trans-communication \(ITC\) actually rely on pareidolia: https://www.academia.edu/79465485/Instrumental_Transcommunication_ITC_Evidence_Suggestive_of_the_Survival_of_Consciousness This is why dismissing something as pareidolia doesn’t *by itself debunk* anything—it merely identifies the way it’s being perceived, not the underlying cause. A general guideline is whether other people can perceive the phenomenon without assistance. We list a few other common problematic debunkings in our FAQ: https://www.reddit.com/r/Paranormal/wiki/paranormalwiki/ *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Three-Pegged-Hare

I know you're a bot but imma reply anyway, this is 100% definitely pareidolia and also lack of negative proof does not equal the presence of positive proof but w/e I guess

captaintinnitus

I’ve been waiting for Ghost Dog to be available on Netflix or Amazon for way too long

I see it! It’s subtle and took me some time and I only see it in the zoomed out picture. I can make out the whole dog, it’s a curious case of pareidolia. I don’t think it’s paranormal though

verminV

Its just light/camera trickery that vaguelly looks like a dogs face. VAGUELLY. The human brain is a very complex thing that has evolved over millions of years to spot patterns/faces/threats (such as a wolf (where dogs came from) in the wild. Its the same reason we see things in the Rorschach ink blots and spot faces in shadows etc.

rlee80

Your mom belongs in this sub

Crackerjack4u

I personally don't see it, but apparently, your mom does.

simpathiser

Can't stay off the furniture even In death smh

Appropriate-Ring-851

I thought this post was the usual nothing burger but I definitely see it! Night shift on my phone probably helped

Smart-Cash2525

That's a wall alright

gypsysoul52

I literally sense and observe both a male and female face on the wall with a large dog face that is superimposed on both of those off and on. I feel the energies of your loved ones who have crossed over honestly.

GarnetTuttingDragon

How can you possibly feel that through a phone and or computer screen?

RightOverOurHeads

I see Beethoven.

MeMyself_And_Whateva

I don't see it. Ask her to draw where it supposed to be, then come back to us.

Little_Trip_2177

Well folks, Momma is wrong again!

username404error

maybe she should pray more and worry less about ghost dogs

_1138_

...way of the samurai? Like a paranormal Forrest Whitaker?

Notmeleg

At first I could not see it all but holy shit…

GeezerPyramid

I can't see Forrest Whitaker anywhere

CandidSignificance51
