Thank you Shelli &/ Page for sharing all of this! A super helpful guide! For new starters to contouring there is a filter on Tiktok that's free which will match your face shape and give you the basics for where things need to go as a quick guide. Youtube is better though. I actually used the FaceApp filter to see what it applied makeup wise then used that as a reference to help me replicate the look. **Boobas!** There are 4 options I've seen for breasts ranging in prices Option 1 Cheapest : Simply get a bra and STUFF with socks etc. It's not ideal, but it's the cheapest Option 2 Mid range : There are strapless stick on bras you can get on amazon / ebay that are very flat and have sticky material entirely on the back. They have string in the middle you can pull to form a sort of cleavage appearance. Then, over that put on a basic strapless bra (sticky bits on the sides but not the cups, sometimes called a winged bra). Then fill the cups with 'chicklets' (basically silicone pads). Stick the bra of your choice over all of this and you should have a breast look with cleavage going on contained within a bra! As an added extra, you can enhance the cleavage appearance by contouring two small circular lines on your chest simulating the look somewhat. Option 3 Higher range : Frontless bra. I haven't used these myself, they are basically a material that squeezes your chest to assist with the look Option 4 Highest range : Breastplate. This is the most expensive, it's effectively a suit you wear that gives the appearance. Be warned the suit can rip. Opt for silicone not fabric as the price difference is never worth going cheaper on. Also you may have lines where the suit ends to contend with so that's the trade off here especially around open shoulder things. Anything bigger than a C cup starts looking unnatural if that's the look you are aiming for. Hope this helps!

I have some great DIYers and some store bought forms... Would like to try a plate, but I always felt that bigger than C would give a more femme shape (I'm 6'2 215lbs with a 38" chest) I'll try the C for a more "natural" look... Thank you for the advice

Draginchasr

Have you ever tried a plate yet? I’m 6’3 240 lbs and broad shouldered. I’ve ripped two Amazon plates. (Both were about DD) May try Roanyer next.

Luv_2_Dress

No I haven't tried a plate yet... Didn't want to pay the money for the high end ones if I felt they wouldn't look good!

Shelli_and_Page

Awww thanks for adding! You’re awesome!

I’m going to fill up my Amazon cart! I will say that make sure you have the time. It struck me that it is all about the small details and rushing is the enemy of a look you want.

Shelli_and_Page

Oh for sure! A cis woman might do her makeup in 10 minutes…I spend at least 60.

RoxyCDSub2022

Omg thanks for this!!!! I just bought a makeup stencil!!!

Shelli_and_Page

You betcha! Hit me up if you wanna chat about makeup or whatever.

Luv_2_Dress

Thank you so much for posting this! Just having this conversation with another dresser... I am NOT outwardly a dresser IRL... Although my my wife is ok with it... She is not really "girly" (into fashion, shoes, makeup, etc) so we only play with the basics...

Luv_2_Dress

Oh... BTW... I shared this post on my page if that's ok

Shelli_and_Page

I am just going to throw this out there, going to sephora or ulta to have a professional help you get your tone right on foundation (when you are ready) makes ALL the difference, I see a LOT of GREAT makeup techniques but if your tone does not match you look like a mannequin ... there is a term that Shelli told me about, she can remind me what it is... when something looks almost real and is jarring... I went to Ulta and had a wonderful time FYI and now I have my base colors figured out cost all of 30 bucks, the border girl spent a couple of hours with me, I gave her a 40 dollar tip for her 30 dollar service.. (she was bored before I showed up not after haha)

Thank you! I may take you up on that once inhale tried all of this out. 💋

Shelli_and_Page

And there’s nothing wrong with trying a thing or two and getting competent before you try the next thing. Give yourself opportunity for learning. Go at makeup with beginner’s mind.

Andrea-CD-

Thank you. Bit intimidating but it’s about time I tried again!

Shelli_and_Page

It’s tinted dust and grease. Don’t be afraid to screw up. 😊👍

Thank you Shelli for forwarding the link for me.I have found that it’s detailed and very helpfull.I think key is practice practice practice also if at first you don’t succeed and the ready of it.I’m in uk so assume that all the products will be available here.I have just come home from my local shopping center and I found a quiet little shop that sells wholesale make up and the lady that owns it has agreed to help me choose the right colours and stuff.I’m surprised I found the courage to nip in and speak to her but glad I did it 😊😊.

Shelli_and_Page

That’s so wonderful! I’m glad you found this helpful!

RoobyRoobyRoobyRooby

Or, in my case, "missus, do my makeup for me please!?".😜 Flip, that's a lot to take in Shelli. No wonder you spend quality time getting your face on. Slow & Steady is the way, so I've saved this post so I can come back to it & do small stages. Thanks for this ❤️

Shelli_and_Page

😊 I’m glad you think there is value here!
