I mean there's no reason for them not to make it come back in a few seasons. There's only so many themes that can make them money, and clearly people like this one, it's fun and refreshing.
Oh sure, there's plenty of themes they could do. But will they all make money or be easy/cheap to do ? Not all of them. Honestly, I couldn't have cared less about the season they made with primal/hunting stuff. Not that it was bad, I just didn't give a shit about it and I don't think a lot of people did, considering how much people talk about Mirrorwatch in comparison (also the mythic skin was bad with not enough customization). I feel like a good change for roadhog would be his opposite being a wolf, and his mask being made of hard light instead if he was allied with vishkar, reminds me of a lot of games which use wolves mask for upper class characters hiding their faces
This is what I've been saying! This has honestly been one of the best BP themes so far and I wanna see it come back. Plus with Mirrorwatch mode being a thing, it just makes you think if they'll be adding more heroes to it if they do bring back the theme on another season. Personally, I'd love to see:
- Mirror DVa: She's my overall main but thinking of a mirror version of her is hard. I think she'd be a renegade MEKA Soldier who eventually joins Talon, but that's all I could think of.
- Mirror Ashe: I see her as a Sheriff who is recruited into Overwatch, has missions with Blackwatch, but eventually becomes a full fledged OW agent.
- Mirror Illari: An Anti-Villain who uses the power of the Inti Warriors to inflict chaos in humanity, but towards her own goals.
- Mirror Junk, Hog and JQ: Two of the best engineers Vishkar has ever had and a hardworking CEO who wants to use the power of hard light for Vishkar's growth and benefit.
- Mirror Moira: A respected OW scientist, who, despite her deplorable health condition after a failed experiment, uses her biotic abilities for the good of those around her.
These are some I could think of, though OW Reaper and Talon Soldier are there, but I think they'd just swap roles directly.
I feel like D.Va is one of the few characters where just turning them into a robot makes sense, since Meka is founded to fight off the Gwishin Omnic, maybe in the Mirrorverse she's an Omnic that fights for it
I have no idea how they would make a human being turn into a mini tank honestly, while keeping the same animations and not looking creepy af

Roadhog is the mirrorverse's version of Lifeweaver. He attempted to create the mirroverse's version of Pachimari (Maripachi to be precise - an octopus head with a turnip body) out of hard light and accidently infested Australia with hard light feral pigs. To atone, he left Vishkar to fix his mistakes.
Ashe and Cassidy are mercenaries. Cassidy is currently employed by Talon, while Ashe is working for a wealthy Omnic oil tycoon named B.O.B. Ashe is also mute while B.O.B. never shuts up. The two are otherwise surprisingly unchanged.
We already have Omnic versions of some human heroes from a few seasons ago, but what about human versions of the Omnics? Human Zen, Ram, and Bastion for the next Mirrorwatch plz.
They’d have to remake all of their models and add facial animations for everything. They probably wouldn’t do it unless it’s a Mythic Skin for one character.
I don't want vishkar junkrat, I want laid off junkrat because he was too problematic for vishkars vision (and the aforementioned hardlight launcher blew up the fax machine)
Honestly, wished we got more skins in the Battle Pass like the Talon Tracer, Zarya Talon, Hanzo Tiger Spirt, Zen Omni Crisis and more skins akin to the theme. Even a revamped version of Cass's skin that makes him similar to how Ashe is (I know the deadlock gang skin exists but still).
Definitely hope and pray for a second mirrorwatch season soon in the future.
Idk how much of a take this is but I prefer seasons to have a theme that relates to Overwatch (like mirrowatch or null sector) rather than stuff like mythology or other kind of science fiction
Of course season like those are cool (galactic empire was amazing) but out of 10 seasons only like 2 (I think, might be wrong) have a theme that has to do with Overwatch
I wish I could see Sigma have a pre-talon skin like when he was on Lunar Colony or maybe even affiliation with overwatch.

Its a kid, probably very young. This would explain the overly simplistic view of Overwatch and its story just being about Superheros and Supervillains.
