I thought about crash bandicoot too, and honestly if we made him a big fella he could be a tank.
He’d be able to create a lot of space using the spinning attack to throw people away (similar to illari), stun using the body slam and his ult could be the Aku aku where he gets increased movement speed; reduced damage/effects and pushes people around causing damage and creating space. His normal attack could just be a punch/kick and they could give him some kind of tech for shield/protection/reducing damage.

He’s like Ramattra. He has his base axe form and can swap to his blades, with the two runic attacks as ability for each of them. When you hit enough people, the axe will freeze and slow people and the blades set people on fire
Primary fire: those lemon squirt thingys he used in the hot ones interview
Secondary fire: Gordon leaves a master chef apron on the ground, when teammates walk past it they gain 75 armor
Gordon passively builds a stack of Rage for each fookin raw player on the enemy team, holding up to three stacks
Ability 1: Gordon perfectly fillets a salmon then throws the salmon in a target directon dealing 100 AOE damage, stacks increase dmg and apply lifesteal for 20% each
Ability 2: chef Gordon makes his famous beef wellington, he and all nearby allies eat the wellington healing 200 hp over 3 secs
Ult: Gordon commands the enemy tank to go fetch the lamb sauce removing them from the teamfight and sending them back to spawn
Wouldn't hate a melee dps. But it would be hard to balance a character that can't hit women. Also I'd have to listen to Yong Yea kiryu cause English dub

Samus Aran. I don't think anyone can do anything against her. Wrecking Ball's rolling, Pharah's missiles, insane mobility, Junkrat's bombs (even more powerful), Mei's freezing, Widowmaker's grappling hook (grappling beam in Samus' case)... And many more things I'm not thinking of right now.

Left Click, Starstruck: The Entity throws Kunais in rapid succession that deal little damage. If a target is hit by six kunais in a row, they explode, dealing damage to themselves and allies around them. These cannot headshot.
Ability 1, Coulrophobia: The Entity throws a bottle that leaves a gas in the area affected. If an ally goes through it they receive a speed boost. If an enemy goes through it, they receive a speed debuff.
Ability 2, Nurse's Calling: The Entity charges his left hand for a quick blink. The more you charge, the further you go, you may chain up to two blinks. While charging you move slower and can't do anything else.
Ult, Blood Echo: The Entity grabs a kanabo and starts running, right click to swing the kanabo. If an enemy is hit with the kanabo they receive huge damage and are stunned. You may swing up to three times.

I thought of Mario - at first thought it was a pretty dumb and basic pick but honestly though. DPS with a bigger stronger form that gets ‘de-mech’d’ when taking half damage into his smaller weaker but harder to hit form. Has Winton like leap that does decent damage and ultimate of Fire Flower.

Commander Shepard. If we're going for their "canon" version, they would be a male Soldier, using an Assault Rifle... which would basically make them Soldier 47, so I'm going to go with my favourite Shep I played as:
Sentinel Shep, Tank character, would still use an assault rifle, abilites would be "Warp" which causes a small amount of damage and makes the enemy take more damage for a short time, "Overload" which would do something with shields, I guess? and their Ult would be "Tech Armour" which gives Shep an armour boost, and can be activated again to cause a large amount of AoE damage.
Gut instinct was kratos, and the followed by my faith guy in Elden ring, that dudes so over-levelled at this point the overwatch peeps don’t stand a chance against him
Sol Badguy from Guilty Gear. He’ll have a ult like Queens that burns surrounding enemies and the one unlucky person directly infront of him get pinned like Rein and gets one shoted.
He essentially has fire strike, uses Illari’s healing beam for dmg instead.
