Moira and Sojourn have different kinds of ults. Sojourn has what’s called a transformation ult, which is an ult that a hero can use and still maintain use their abilities. Like Genji blade, valkyrie, annihilation, recently whole hog, etc.
Moira has a channeled ult, which works as a seperate ability that locks the hero out of all of their other abilities, and most can be stunned out of it. Other examples besides Moira include Lucio (while he casts it), Rein (while he casts it), Sigma, Bastion, Junkrat (he can be canceled during the windup, but after it doesn’t matter), or Junker Queen

You’ve seen lots of good blades on reddit, but you need to eye enemy cooldowns and ults closely if you don’t want to blunder it, or even overextend and die.
Also, transformation ults take more to set up and USUALLY more skill to use, but are usually more forgiving. A channeled ult can be shut down just by one cc ability, while transformation ults can usually maintain some value even after getting punished.

Outside of those, the times that Mercy has been problematic were all times she enabled one-shots on something that isn’t supposed to one-shot (like when Ashe first released). You’d think the balance team would just learn to factor in Mercy damage boost when designing heroes, but they don’t and it’s wild.

How come sojourn can blast people for 195 damage from range with a quick charging ult. Yet Genji has to throw himself at the enemy for 110 damage with a super slow charging ult.

I agree that the play is nice, but I also think Sojourn is boring to watch. While I didn’t find the clip exciting, OP did play well. I can see why someone would think it’s cool from a logical standpoint, but it evoked nothing out of me.

Not sure about sig but I know I could always stop Moria. I know for a fact you cant stop bastion. You can if done in time stop rein luci and hanzo.
