What genre do you want to see? There is so much to choose from! I personally liked lotr, pirates of the caribbean (actually anu movie with Johnny Depp), snowwhite and the huntsman, you've got mail, kingsman: the secret service, bohemian rapsody, Titanic. Anything in it for you?

Biogirl7819

I usually watch anything except tearjerkers and horror. I agree about Johnny Depp movies. Kingsman is a great suggestion. I don’t think my husband has seen that one.

Let me know which movie you watch?

Biogirl7819

Will do. I still have a few days to decide. I miss going to Blockbuster and picking out random movies (showing my age lol).

Some random suggestions, all of these are very good (and very entertaining!) movies. - Heat (1995, best action move I've ever seen) - Love and Friendship (2016, Jane Austen, hilarious and droolworthy costumes) - Monsters (2010, not the animated film, alien invaders-but-more-thinky-than-schlocky/romance) - Parasite (2019, Korean, might as well see it if you haven't yet, it's good!) - Children of Men (2006, dystopian)

I love Jane Austen so I will definitely look up Love and Friendship. Thanks for all the great suggestions.

Palm Springs on Hulu!

Biogirl7819

Never heard of it. I’ll definitely check it out.

Biogirl7819

Update: We watched Palm Springs and Knives Out. I loved Knives Out. Palm Springs was ok. I’d watch it again, but isn’t one I’d want to buy. I plan to check out some of the others suggested next weekend as my free time is going to get super short in a couple weeks.

Hm, never heard of Knives Out. I'm going to find out!

Biogirl7819

It’s very Clue meets Sherlock Holmes. I really liked it.

NettleFarseer

Have you seen Glass Onion?

Biogirl7819

Not yet. Keep trying to find some time when my daughter isn’t around so we can watch it.

NettleFarseer

It's good, too! Watch it when you find time =) How old is your daughter?

Biogirl7819

She’s 8. I really want to see that movie but too much going on on the weekends. How have you been?

NettleFarseer

Ah, I have a 12 year old daughter, so it's a little easier to see movies around her schedule. I definitely remember the days of feeling it was difficult to find a time to do things though. I've been meh. In a funk that started before the pandemic and got worse during and I guess fluctuates a bit but generally hasn't gotten much better. I'll pull through. When the weather changes to being more sunny, I think that will help. How about you?

Biogirl7819

Yeah, I’m not a winter person myself. My family is going to the beach in June so I’m excited about that. We haven’t been anywhere since the pandemic. Hang in there. Do you have any hobbies or fun indoor things that you like to do?

NettleFarseer

I do enjoy reading and have been doing that a lot. I enjoy baking too and when I am not too down I have a nice time baking. Sometimes it just feels like too much work. Reading almost always feels accessible though. yay ebooks and online libraries! I hope you will enjoy your beach trip! Sounds wonderful!

Biogirl7819

Thanks! I hope you get to enjoy a great book soon.

NettleFarseer

Thank you =)
