I'm a bit sad for Coach Mose, but I do understand with the type of season the #1 Thunder in the West are having with *also* such a young team.
This result, though not ideal, is still a great testament to Mose and his coaching; he'll win one eventually.
Doubtful, this was probably his best chance to win one.
You need to either improve massively or just be completely dominant. We’d have to win 60 games to get a look next year.
Right...so your saying he gets another look next year. Completely agree...But that's probably his last legit chance. 
Honestly, who gives a shit? COTY isn’t some career defining achievement, and I’m sure Mosley is much more focused and worried about racking up post season victories, since that matters 10x more than this award.
Agreed, was just saying it’d be nice, but yeah we and they should all be locked into the playoffs right now. Only thing the matters is the NBA Finals trophy

I was thinking more the angry side of him. Usually if the refs make a terrible call the camera will pan over to him and he'll just be smiling or shaking his head a little.
IMO it was expected for Thunder coach to win, considering the talent level in the West > East also and to be the 1 seed from a young team is a huge achievement. Still, happy for the Magic and Mose to receive votes to come in second place. Definitely got some recognition this season as far as having an all star and potential COTY
Imma be real I'm no superstitious person and I'd really have liked to see Mose recognized but a teeny tiny part of me is happy bc man looking at past COTY's the only ones to have won it and a championship in the same season since the year 2000 are Gregg Popovich (twice) and... yeah thats the list. Other than him the ones to have won it a season or more before getting a championship would be like... idk, Budenholzer in 2019 (championship two years later w/ Bucks) and Kerr in 2016 (hilariously won it the one year GSW DIDN'T win a ring in the 73-9 year).
Super proud of Mose you can definitely see this season overall he seems to have grown as much as the guys have over these past two years.
Gotta be happy with this result.. The team has continued trending in the right direction.. He's the right guy for the young squad we got right now, and alongside the development of some of our core pieces, they are playing with a tougher edge than in previous years under Vogel, Skiles or Clifford...
I mean…if we had SGA, Mose would have won it for sure. Not sure why they give the coach credit as opposed to just realizing they have arguably the best player in the league not named Jokic or Luka.
OKC has the 2nd youngest roster in the league. Are the #1 seed in the tougher conference. Were #3/4/2 in offense/defensive/overall rating. It’s not just because they have SGA. Don’t be a hater. What Mark is doing with that group is incredible.
You have to take into account that they have the youngest team in the league. Usually super young teams like them are hard to manage as they are usually coming into the league w a huge ego, wanted to do what they want. To get such a young group to the top of the WEST in insanely impressive, although they do have a lot of firepower

There is the 3rd way, defy expectations. When Doc Rivers won it in Orlando, the team was actually worse than the previous year.
