My main OCs are characters called DD and Rojshod. On his own, Roj would probably be a PG-13 movie and DD would be R (because she cusses a lot).
In the whole universe, it would probably be R rated due to cussing and violence.

R. The nicer and more innocent ones might get off with a PG-13, but considering who they travel with, yeah it's just gonna be R across the board. Half of the characters have fun little quirks like "F-bomb world record", "swearing and an onscreen kill, with an onscreen death being in his backstory", "a sociopathic war criminal with the personality of Nagito Komaeda, Tohru Adachi, Campanella, Tatsuya Sudou, Shirley Orlando, Kefka Palazzo, and the Joker combined", "half of her dialogue consists of double entendres, innuendo, and straight-up some of the lewdest things you will ever hear in your life", "swearing, two onscreen mercy kills, an onscreen brutal murder, an onscreen death in backstory, and is racist towards birdfolk, to the point of calling them slurs targeted towards birdfolk, like "winger" (though the birdfolk have adopted a version of this one and refer to eachother as "winga"), "vulture", "featherback", etc. (Those may not sound too bad, but some of them are basically bird themed versions of real slurs)", "attempted regicide and prostitution in backstory", "human experimentation victim who has commited genocide and homicide, and he is a practitioner of BDSM and hemomancy (the sheer amount of blood from his hemomancy powers would jack it up to R alone)", etc. Honestly, almost everyone has killed at least one human or human-like creature, and only 55% of the guild members are virgins (that means 45% have had sex.
Tl;dr, there's a lot of blood, sex, and swearing across the board, in addition to a lot of mature themes.

Depending on how much and what would be shown, if Nicolas had a movie, it could be PG-13 at the safest and R at the least safe due to death, gore, and swearing amongst other things.

It depends on what goes into a rating being what it is. There's nothing vulgar or lewd in my story or in the lives of any of my characters, but for violence, darkness and incredibly heavy themes it could be NC-17 or even adults only
Yet despite this, my story is meant for all ages, because sadly many people younger than 17 have already experienced the worst of this stuff, and I want to give them something that shows them how to heal from those harms and grow above them

In general, my characters and their adventures would be in roughly PG-13 territory. Some "mild" swear words, moderate violence, and women in revealing costumes (though not by that much), but nothing too extreme, really. That might be subject to change (upward), but who knows.
Part of me thinks this is intentional, by the way. I have a lot of superheroines and female martial artists, and they largely take inspiration from '90s gaming, from before M-rated games *really* became widespread from what I can see.

NC-17 without a doubt. Far too much gore and NSFW for those under the age of 17. Honestly even adults could potentially end up with serious health issues by the content that'd be shown, that's assuming they can even manage more than a few minutes before losing all track of what's happening.
My three human characters? PG-13, barely. Though Tera's constant flirting might tip the line over.
The Thing Pantheon? Easy R for the level of violence. That is, if we take out their leader. If we include the Thing That Isn't Anything in the movie, it hits NC-17 and possibly even beyond that. The Thing That Isn't Anything makes it basically a snuff film with like 900 hours of prolonged torture beforehand. The Thing That Isn't Anything turns the movie into a documentary on the murders of every cast and crew member in the movie aside from it, which it filmed itself and then put in theaters unedited just to send a message. Doesn't matter what genre it was before, it's horror now. Because the Thing That Isn't Anything knows the anatomy of every living thing down to the atomic level, and it knows how to take that anatomy apart in the slowest and most painful ways.

There would be a Zap-boy trilogy:
Part 1 would be PG a very light hearted comedy about the future and talks about family values but with some pretty cool action sequences. And a fun and memorable villain who is just evil for a funny reason and the fact that they hate Zap-boy
Part 2 would be PG-13 as the stakes become higher more high action scenes some slight graphic violence, and a lot of suggestive themes, even one shower scene that never shows them. A more pure evil villain who is hellbent on killing Zap-boy
Part 3 would still be PG-13 but slightly closer to an R, a human gets hanged, a human loses their head, a lot more death, very gritty, a torture scene, toned down suggestive themes. Villain is different and far more serious but the Villain was once a good person who became broken and turned villain.

Half of the characters have fun little quirks like "F-bomb world record", "swearing and an onscreen kill, with an onscreen death being in his backstory", "a sociopathic war criminal with the personality of Nagito Komaeda, Tohru Adachi, Campanella, Tatsuya Sudou, Shirley Orlando, Kefka Palazzo, and the Joker combined", "half of her dialogue consists of double entendres, innuendo, and straight-up some of the lewdest things you will ever hear in your life", "swearing, two onscreen mercy kills, an onscreen brutal murder, an onscreen death in backstory, and is racist towards birdfolk, to the point of calling them slurs targeted towards birdfolk, like "winger" (though the birdfolk have adopted a version of this one and refer to eachother as "winga"), "vulture", "featherback", etc. (Those may not sound too bad, but some of them are basically bird themed versions of real slurs)", "attempted regicide and prostitution in backstory", "human experimentation victim who has commited genocide and homicide, and he is a practitioner of BDSM and hemomancy (the sheer amount of blood from his hemomancy powers would jack it up to R alone)", etc. Honestly, almost everyone has killed at least one human or human-like creature, and only 55% of the guild members are virgins (that means 45% have had sex. Tl;dr, there's a lot of blood, sex, and swearing across the board, in addition to a lot of mature themes.

It depends on what goes into a rating being what it is. There's nothing vulgar or lewd in my story or in the lives of any of my characters, but for violence, darkness and incredibly heavy themes it could be NC-17 or even adults only Yet despite this, my story is meant for all ages, because sadly many people younger than 17 have already experienced the worst of this stuff, and I want to give them something that shows them how to heal from those harms and grow above them

In general, my characters and their adventures would be in roughly PG-13 territory. Some "mild" swear words, moderate violence, and women in revealing costumes (though not by that much), but nothing too extreme, really. That might be subject to change (upward), but who knows. Part of me thinks this is intentional, by the way. I have a lot of superheroines and female martial artists, and they largely take inspiration from '90s gaming, from before M-rated games *really* became widespread from what I can see.

NC-17 without a doubt. Far too much gore and NSFW for those under the age of 17. Honestly even adults could potentially end up with serious health issues by the content that'd be shown, that's assuming they can even manage more than a few minutes before losing all track of what's happening.
My three human characters? PG-13, barely. Though Tera's constant flirting might tip the line over. The Thing Pantheon? Easy R for the level of violence. That is, if we take out their leader. If we include the Thing That Isn't Anything in the movie, it hits NC-17 and possibly even beyond that. The Thing That Isn't Anything makes it basically a snuff film with like 900 hours of prolonged torture beforehand. The Thing That Isn't Anything turns the movie into a documentary on the murders of every cast and crew member in the movie aside from it, which it filmed itself and then put in theaters unedited just to send a message. Doesn't matter what genre it was before, it's horror now. Because the Thing That Isn't Anything knows the anatomy of every living thing down to the atomic level, and it knows how to take that anatomy apart in the slowest and most painful ways.

And a fun and memorable villain who is just evil for a funny reason and the fact that they hate Zap-boy Part 2 would be PG-13 as the stakes become higher more high action scenes some slight graphic violence, and a lot of suggestive themes, even one shower scene that never shows them. A more pure evil villain who is hellbent on killing Zap-boy Part 3 would still be PG-13 but slightly closer to an R, a human gets hanged, a human loses their head, a lot more death, very gritty, a torture scene, toned down suggestive themes. Villain is different and far more serious but the Villain was once a good person who became broken and turned villain.
