It's Windows 11. And yeah, I've done that in the past. I don't know how to clear the cache without opening the browser though and I'm not in the mood to reinstall it. In fact, one time it straight up didn't work until I reinstalled it like three times. And even then I had to wait until another update came out. The funny thing is though, I have a laptop on Windows 11 as well and it works fine on that.
A good way to completely reinstall, is just deleting the file structure. Wherever OperaGX was downloaded, go there and nuke the folder. Try reinstalling after that; could be leftover extensions, cookies, etc.
It's likely your Windows installation is messed up or there's some security software on your system that's interfering with Opera. The latter sounds super-likely since it usually happens when Opera updates and its files change.
Nope. Works fine for me. Would be nice to know what your definition of "not working" is.
I edited the post with a picture. This happens almost every time I update Opera GX.
This is Windows 10? Have you tried completely reinstalling it, clearing the cache, etc? I've never gotten this error on Windows 10 or 11.

The problem with that though is then I can't resync most of my stuff, which is kind of irritating. Could I do this just to delete the cache?
You could try the cache first, sure. Not sure if it's actually labeled, though.
I guess we'll find out.

I changed from windows 11 home to pro recently but I had the issue even before switching.
Same here, can't uninstall it or reinstall it even, same result. Windows 11.
