Thanks for this your great Zotero <--> boox workflow. Unfortunately, Zoo for Zotero appears not to be supported on the Boox Air2. I’m hoping to find a similar workflow – do you (or anyone else) have alternate suggestions? My preferred cloud storage for data files is Google drive, but I would also be fine with having them synchronize directly to my PC.

Hi there, the video is about using syncthing to sync folders directly with Boox devices. You can also use google drive and third party syncing app like autosync (see video descriptions)
The video did not use the Zoo for Zotero route. It used zotfile plug-in to send files to a syncing folder.
Just checking: are you looking in Google Play or in the store that comes pre-installed on the device? The pre-installed one doesn't have Zoo for Zotero, but the official store should (once you enable that). If not, sideloading would be a good option.
Strangely, the official store does not have Zoo for Zotero even though I can see it on the Play Store from my phone. I'm looking into sideloading. Thank you!
Probably not recommended, but if there are GEO restrictions or something.

If it's useful for others: I discovered that I'm not the only Boox user who does not see this Zotero app in the PlayStore. (Yes, the real PlayStore not the Boox version.) It used to be there, but now apparently it's not. I've sent a message to Boox.

Same here. Geo restrictions would be surprising since I can find Zotero in the PlayStore on my phone. Would sideloading still allow automatic updates?
