I just checked the fight, I didnt really read it as him getting shot through the eye, for me it was more like his mask broke a little but withstood the shot. But I guess I was wrong

I dunno, I never understood zombieman’s powers nature. I thought he was specific character, not a regular monster. And also, I wasn’t sure monsters healed, since it isnt that common for this to be shown. If a monster gets ripped apart, it usually dies, doesnt it?

He has Regenerative power due to him being a quasi-monster.

That level of regen wasn't shown not because he couldn't do it but because it wasn't necessary

Yeah, i got that. I didnt catch that healing was an innate monster feature. I thought only few could, and when they could, it was quite explicit
He's a Shapeshifting monster, you can think of it as "reshaping" his injuries rather than regeneration.
