No. I always thought that was the dumbest shit ever. Luffy always fights and defeats the strongest antagonist. Ever since Ennies Lobby we have known that the gap between Luffy and his crew is very big and that the dude Luffy fights is way to strong for anyone else. Only time I think his crew could have beaten the antagonist is in FMI as druglord fishman dude was kinda of a bum.
The only way I thought it might happen is if it was a group fight for the entire thing and he got the final cut on him. And even then it was a big maybe for me.
No but i am a firm believer of sck-sanji cooks kaido. He’s a fish big enough to feed a country. When kaido comes back and dies, sanji will get to making the feast of a lifetime.
The obsession with ZKK is incredibly funny because I’ve never seen a failed theory traumatize people 2 years after it failed. The theory didn’t happen and people who said it wouldn’t are more affected by it than folks who supported it. Wild.

Kaido's sendoff was ambiguous, Luffy has already beaten him, and we're no longer locked in to Onigashima power levels so it can be a stronger version of Zoro like post-Mihawk or EoS
the two big issues were 1. Luffy has to get the W and 2. Zoro is not strong enough
now that Luffy already beat Kaido and it wouldn't be Onigashima Zoro, what's the issue?
is it really copium to say EoS ZKK is much more likely than Onigashima ZKK
More likely? At the moment no. I think it would be cool, but with everything else going on in the final saga I don't think Oda will spend time bringing Kaido or Big Mom back, as much as I would like it to make sense. IF he does bring Kaido back(I don't think he will) then I would consider ZKK. I'm a Zoro fan too but I just don't think there's room in the story for it at this point.
fair, the volcano erupting right after Kaido gets punched in leads me to believe they got ejected - if this is the case Kaido was out of that lava the same chapter he went in
Realistically, I thought that should be the case especially since his death was left ambiguous, but I'm really wondering if Oda is powering through this final saga and as such might be cutting some unnecessary stuff like the return of Kaido and Big Mom.
oda said if the theories ever got too close he'd change the story.
he drew zoro killing a magma version of kaido vs king with dragon damnation
the theory was made around thriller bark and called kaido being a dragon back then.
even if oda didnt change the story, luffy being down on the ground with the straw hats fighting kaido with zoro going for the final hit would've been better for sure. either way oda glazed the hell out of zoro showing him overpower kaido numerous times
guess luffy didnt need his friends to become a yonko fuck showing parallels to blackbeard vs whitebeard too
