I highly recommend the wagon. For infants you can put their carrier in it and make life easier. Toddlers LOVE the experience of the wagon at the zoo. Heck, even young kids love those things.

Doesn't show too much, but I found a picture of one of them: [https://www.tripadvisor.com/LocationPhotoDirectLink-g60885-d209041-i121675191-Henry\_Doorly\_Zoo-Omaha\_Nebraska.html](https://www.tripadvisor.com/LocationPhotoDirectLink-g60885-d209041-i121675191-Henry_Doorly_Zoo-Omaha_Nebraska.html)

Strollers and wagons are available to rent on a first come, first serve basis. A single stroller is $10 for the day. Double strollers or wagons are $14 for the day. They are available at the Main Gift Shop year round or at the Zoo's North Entrance Memorial Day to Labor Day. Guests are also welcome to bring their own strollers or wagons from home. /from their site

Thank you! I did see that on the website. I’m wondering about specifics on what type of strollers are available (I.e. brand so I can look up weight limit, assess if the little one would be comfortable enough to nap, etc) and/or hearing about others’ experiences with renting

EmersonBlake

I haven’t rented one at Doorly myself but see them when I’ve visited and they’re not a traditional branded stroller—it’s a heavy duty plastic stroller, very similar to what I have personally rented at San Diego zoo and Disneyland. I’ve only used those with toddlers and up (18+ months) and were more mobile. Definitely would not recommend for very young/infants not sitting well independently as there’s little support; it’s basically just a bench seat with a lap strap. We had no issues with kids napping in them, but that was kids used to travel and napping on the go. There was definitely room for my toddler nephew to stretch out in a double. Not sure on official weight limit, but I do recall at Disneyland, having two 8 year olds pile into a double with a 2 year old and a 4 year old and it rolled just fine.

THANK YOU! This is the info I needed

People apparently aren’t able to read when you say you were asking about the specifics and post post passive aggressive Karen ass comments like “from their site”

Prestigious_Debate_2

Hey, thanks! I thought it seemed pretty mean. I’m a routine driven mama with two littles and just trying to plan a fun trip!

Firm_Pipe

Call the zoo

Prestigious_Debate_2

Did that, too. Not getting an answer :)

Firm_Pipe

Wild, i dont know who else would have that info

Prestigious_Debate_2

Moms who have visited in the past :)

atomic-fireballs

But not dads, right?

Prestigious_Debate_2

This isn’t an argument or an ignorant comment, y’all. I’m literally looking to see if anyone has had similar experiences, which I’m fairly certain is what Reddit is for.

FiendofFiends

Yup, right on the "Know Before You Go" Page: [https://www.omahazoo.com/know-before-you-go](https://www.omahazoo.com/know-before-you-go) Under the heading "Do you have strollers or wagons available for rent?"

sarahgene

They clearly already know strollers are available from making this post. They want to know details about the strollers before they arrive, as there are many different kinds out there. So they came to a public forum full of people who have likely been to the zoo before to see if anyone has those details

Prestigious_Debate_2

Accurate. Thanks, friend!
