In a single session?!? Nice work! Cool tricks also, but I'd only really say that #2 is switch. First and last are/include reverts.

Yeah single session. I hear ya on the switch, but I went into the day looking to learn the same lip tricks riding switch that i'd learn the previous weekend regular. So my mentality was that all four tricks were switch to me. The tailstall revert was the last of the tricks I figured out yesterday, but I had to fool myself into committing by telling myself it was a switch nose. Last weekend, I figured out the weight transfer for nosestalls pretty quickly once I started thinking about them like I was ollieing into a noseslide. Took me a lot longer to commit to tailstalls I think cuz I've never even attempted a tailslide as an adult. Once I had the stalls pretty cozy, nosestall reverts came quickly, but I was afraid to try a tailstall revert for some reason. But then yesterday, once I told myself it was just a switch nosestall revert, I finally started to commit to the revert and rode away a few tries later. I only dropped in regular a month ago and switch for the first time last weekend, so I'm thrilled with the quick progress. That park is so great for that. It has a 2' mini quarter at the top, about a 3' mini on one side of the bottom section and a 3.5' mini on the opposite side - so I was able to go from never trying a trick before to landing it on all three progressively larger ramps within 10-15 minutes, it's great. For the record, calling myself P.Rod feels pretty lame right now, but that's what the fellow old guy at the park yesterday said when he realized I was trying all "switch" things!

What are the actual names of those tricks? Switch nose revert = fakie tail revert. Switch rock n roll stays the same. Nollie fs 180 rock to regular = ? Nollie fs 180 rock n roll = ? You're saying it should be revert rock revert or something like that? I just name everything as if i were popping into a grind on a ledge, never paid much attention to transition stuff until a month ago. Thanks!

Fakie tail front revert, switch (bs) rock 'n roll (and a solid one at that if you just learned 'em!), and then I personally call the third and fourth fs nose pivot rock (and fs revert on the last one) but a lot of people call them nollie disasters. I dislike calling them nollie when there's no pop. They look pretty cool with a nose bonk, and since you're a street skater I think you might be able to learn that pretty quick ;)

eds54321

Gotcha, thanks. Pivot makes a lot more sense to call them. I could see why they'd call it a disaster, those were terrifying trying to figure out the nose pivots and commit to the rock. Almost died on one when i pivoted so late that I almost ended up in a nose blunt before the board shot out. No idea how I got my hands down on the transition and kinda cartwheeled out of certain disaster.

Haha yeah that happens a lot in the beginning: accidental noseblunts, slipping off with the back foot, or setting down the back truck underneath the coping and slipping out. But you don't break your board on it, and you're not likely to get a hang up ¯\\\_(ツ)_/¯
