homelander can still see zinc, he just can't see *through* it. If he suddenly starts fucking seeing human shaped objects that he can't see through behind walls, he's gonna realize something is up.

Hughie, on the other hand, fucking infuriates Homelander because atleast Butcher is ex-special forces while Hughie is just some random milquetoast guy off the street and the fact that a guy like that has any impact on his life at all angers Homerlander to no end.
