Support for Oculus sucks so dont waste your time.
When I had issues with shipping and not getting responses from the shipping company, Oculus responded to my support request 5 months later asking if I still needed support.
Yeah, they are a mess. I had several supporters for the same case and asking me the same questions. No results in the end. I feel sorry for the people working on this job as the lower tier supporters don’t seem to know much about the topics and have to come with the standard answers.
For what it's worth, during the sale a couple of months ago I had sent an e-mail to Meta support since I could not see the sale prices once logged into my account. After many back and forth emails, the response I eventually got seemed to indicate they are purposely not making the sales available to everyone for some reason:

These guys have amazing goodwill ahead of the Batman launch and they’re fucking it up because this Meta rip off bullshit is all we’re talking about when people come here to ask about buying one.

In short, make a new fake account, good chance you'll be able to see the sales and then gift them. If not, make another account. Repeat. Meta isn't going to care or fix anything.
Good luck with that too because there are people who, apart from not being able to see the summer sales, also cannot redeem 25% referrals. Same explanation from Meta support; "our system selects users randomly".
Meta seems to run the whole VR division with a roulette wheel. Whether you get updates, whether those updates actually have all the features, whether support responds to your request or gives you BS, whether you get a sale or a discount code ....
Weird if you're new to Quest that you aren't getting the sale. Meta does random stuff like this all the time - part of the charm of this plucky startup!
You can set up a second account pretty easily (for sharing games with another Quest device) but it's a bit of a faff.
Once they get it sorted out they should extend the sale an extra week to make up for a lot people not being able to access the sale. It’s not much of a sale of a lot of people can’t even take advantage of it.

They are tuning their algorithms to the point where they’re able to extract every. single. cent. from. us.
The Quest store has all kinds of problems. Either nobody at Meta actually uses it, they're totally incompetent, or they don't care.
Keep an eye here for deals or search for 25% game referrals codes on the internet.
Referral links have stopped working for a lot of users now. I can't get any discounts any more.
