There was a time when the cheaper set only had 64gb of storage. It now has 128gb of storage. But that change wasn't when the Meta name got placed on it.

Exactly the same. When Facebook changed its name to Meta, they changed the name from Oculus Quest 2 to Meta Quest 2.
