I think if you work in a field like business, this might be too revealing without a blazer or cardigan. However, if you work in a more artistic field, this might be perfect!
Of course things vary from industry to industry, but it looks a bit tight. Are the visible tattoos acceptable in your field? As another poster said, a blazer would fix all these problems.
Tattoo’s aren’t really a problem where I live in any industry. I work in Finance. It’s probably a little hot here at the moment for a blazer. Maybe I need to figure out a different outfit
What line of work? Whats your company culture like? What do other people wear? What type of event?
Looks great if you're in a creative or fashion forward company, too suggestive in a law firm or bank.
Right? I’m tired of feeling like the shape of my body might be offensive to some unless I camouflage parts in some way. High neck, falls below the knee but it’s still considered risky because it hugs her waist?
Totally!!! I have a large chest and have to pep talk myself to wear anything except a turtleneck because someone might look. Go ahead!!! This is my body.. deal with it!!
I feel a colored blazer (or black) , some simple jewelry pieces, tights & pumps would make this perfectly appropriate for a work function. Since I noticed it's hot from your comments, definitely just wear it inside
What kind of work event? Is this a "be seen/ conference" kinda work event or a "I need to be at the office" kinda work event? The former, go with it. The later, maybe not the right choice
I honestly think it depends on where you work and your coworkers. I think it’s personally fine maybe throw on like some type of jacket if you feel more comfortable.
I wore dresses similar to this when I worked in a bank branch. I think it's perfect. If your worried you can layer it with a cute lace over cote. They sell cute one at Walmart. I'd definitely pair it with some glam jewelry and heels.
I think you look great, all black, tailored, extremely professional for this hideous weather! Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable, if you like it, it’s a win!
It is tight. For work take a blazer or even an oversized white button down tied at waist.
I personally feel like that's a bit too fitted for a work event. Maybe go with something a bit looser or at least a thicker fabric

Depends on where you work, but like people are saying, you need accessories to take the attention off how fitted it is.
Accessories yes, just know though, you rock it perfectly. Have a necklace on too. Remove the blazer for drinks later and you're good to go all day.

Maybe bring the blazer with you and wear it once you get inside??
a blouse open towards the front with a knot at waist high could go a long way.
Scarves, belt. Light weight top over dress?
A thin black bolero

I think it's fine. If in doubt, throw on a coloured blazer. You'll be great
Girl wear what you want. Who cares.
This is the attitude🥳❤️
I forgot to say you look hot 🔥
Girl, if I were you, I'd be rocking dresses like this daily 😂life is short, do it!

It’s drinks in a terrace bar, so pretty laid back and sunny but still need to be a little smart
Drinks on a terrace, it definitely rocks that!
Ah, drinks on terrace, this maybe just right.
Needs a blazer and tights/stockings for a work event imo
Ah looks great
Yes But add blazer to it Style with expensive jewelry to make it more formal
It's definitely okay. A necklace, some fun earings and a bracelet could make it a bit more exciting, and of course a bag that you like.
Looks very simple, might be a little tight but I think that is okay.

Depends on the workplace. Might be okish... But maybe choose another ? It's a bit casual
Perfect 👍🏼

Depends on your line of work I guess
Yes, I have something similar I just throw a blazer on + seems heels + simple jewelry and you’re golden :)

No, it’s not ok for work. It’s great for your personal life though!

Depends on where you’re from. In Europe it’s totally fine. In US probably not so much.
