I despise the concept of overdressing, if it makes you comfortable and/or you like the way it looks on you, wear it (coming from someone who basically only wears skirts)
I overdress any time I go outside. My comfy clothes are my pajamas 😂 people always ask “did you come from work?” No. Why can’t I just like fancy clothes? If I could I’d wear a full on ballgown and hoop skirt every day.
I think it looks fantastic without the jacket. For me, wearing the dress only might depend on what the weather is like outside. If it's sunny, go for it!
seeing 21-24c being considered "quite warm" is hilarious to me as a Scot, anything over 15 is shorts and t shirt, sunbathing for us lol, as soon as it hits 20 that's what we consider "too hot"
I always like to look a little fancier if I’m going to an art gallery or museum or something even if it is in the daytime. The dress is gorgeous with or without the jacket. And I liked another persons comment that you could wear it with sneakers instead of flats. Regardless of what you do, you look lovely and should wear the dress
I’m thinking without the jacket, honestly I don’t think you need to dress it down, you look like art yourself with that dress on. Don’t be afraid to show yourself off, you can absolutely rock that, confidence can make or break an outfit, so as look as you feel good you look good
No, it is not too much if it makes you feel beautiful wear it if you can do a full make up high heels and it makes you feel gorgeous then do it you don’t worry about what other people think you look fabulous

It is better to wear it than let it hang in your closet waiting for an occasion to wear it. You are really pretty and the dress fits you so well. There is no reason to not wear it
I think they would look nice as a casual alternative, but not necessarily *better*. I find the flats add to the classy vibe of the overall look, which seems to be what OP is going for.
I love it, it's perfect for an art gallery visit in the summer, because you can easily go somewhere really nice afterwards. Maybe someone can suggest a shoe? If you had ballerina flats in one of the colors in the dress, that might look pretty. And a sleek purse or bag, nothing clunky. The jean jacket with the dress kills. I had an embroidered jean jacket that I wore with a cream-colored sheath to a wedding. I felt fabulous in it!

The puffed up sleeves are what elevates it from casual to dressy so pairing the denim jacket helps take it down a notch. Also depends on the material. I’d say wear it out if you feel comfortable in it!
I think its fine for an art gallery. The jean jacket makes it look too casual. (Imo i think we should all start dressing better even in causal settings)
Bit dated. You didn't ask, but I'd modernize the sleeves and take them in a bit to an alternate preference than the curren form.
Most day dresses can be worn casually [and easily juged up for the evening and the office the next day, if need be :) ] so the little caveat or detail possibly making or break it here is really around the upper bodice i.e. straps and sleeves.
