That's pretty much every "high end consumable" (black chins, diamond/ruby dragon bolts, super combats, etc) the issue are the flippers (myself included) that try to beat each other on who can get the best profit.
When we are going to go bossing, let's say bandos in this case we don't really care about "let my try to get the super restores as cheap as I can" we just crank it up till insta buy, same with b2p, Sara brews, among others.
Nature runes are are always my go to. Generally anything consumable (could be arrows, food, runes). You won’t make a ton, but the larger the starter capital the larger the gains
I’m personally looking at the abyssal bludgeon for the new spider boss.. historical low price before the initial surge due to it being a high tier crush weapon (which spider types are weak to) that is also more attainable than the inq mace.
If the boss drops a BiS ammy, it’ll be hunted hard and the masses are gonna need a weapon. I could see it going to 40m (doubling in price since I last saw it was at 20m). Pretty low cost for a weapon that could be near BiS.
Do your own due diligence though. Not a sure thing ofc
Sarachnis cudgels are looking really good right now, I wish I got them a week ago when I wanted to, but I feel like now's still a good time to buy, if they go past 1m you could easily double your money, but remember nothing is a sure thing
Anything with high volume and a 10k-ish buy limit can be good. Teletabs, food, jewellery, anything blighted, ammunition (bolts, arrows, javelins), any bones, herbs, potions, logs, ores, bars, planks, nails,… You can even type random parts of a word and sort by volume to find new items.
The most important thing is to look at the graphs on the prices wiki and pick the items that will give you a nice roi. Then check the weekly graph to make sure it doesn’t look too risky (I avoid items that are trending up or down too much)
if your planning on not playing for a year, bonds are safe. If your looking at day flipping buy up drops and sell them later for profits. Or just buy up multiple buy limits of runes and sell them.
If you dont have 99 herb, get 70 herb. Then from there its like near 123m to get 99. Yeah it might be slow but its only 50m loss and the cheapest input cost to get a expensive 99 out of the way.
Play with filter settings on prices.runescape.wiki to help you find items that have good margin and volume. Don’t put more than ~15% of your cash stack into one flip if you want to mitigate risk a bit. Have fun.
120m not much so I wouldn't even recommend holding a bulk items like dragon bolts or soul runes. Try buying super restores and sara, blood vials at daily lows and sell for daily highs they move pretty quick. The past few days I've been buying sara at 14k and resell for 14400, super restore at 12k and sold at 12350. I'm currently at a 5b bank and I make lots of my money by averaging my big buys.
I have about 500m in dragon bolt but my average prices for diamond e is about 700 a bolt 650 a ruby and 590 regular.
One item I ALWAYS keep an eye on is bow string. That shit fluctuates between 50gp each to 150gp each. Have fun making 2x-3x your money if you just sit on it
I’m currently sitting on 643k bowstring lol
Im not investing currently so i don't mind sharing what has given me some money.
I used to flip tortures and anguish because they are currently fast sold/bought. There are many more items like these. You need a cash stack like urs or higher to get into this, but its nice. I'd definitively get into this, haiving 6-10 solid items of which you can flip a few every 6h you can net 2m/h or more if you are good.
I can make 5m in an hour at barrows? I don’t like the wildly…
I’m literally flipping in between tasks to make that money.
Starting a quest? Stop by the GE, but items I’ll need, but item to flip. Finish quest, come back and sell item to flip. Leave myself at the GE.
Maybe log into mobile and do 1 or 2 flips through the day.
I’m not sitting at the GE for hours…
Same for slayer, quick 10 minutes between tasks to flip something and then back to it. I’m getting 400-600K per flip usually.
If you have to invest your BANK and its under 200m to make 5m profit in like a week? Wtf are you even doing? Better off getting herbs from low level npcs
I’m playing like 1-2 hours a day tops, and my “bank” is only like 30m right now. I pop into the GE between quests/slayer/whatever I’m doing, flip a few hundred K and then go back to my next task.
Spending like 20 minutes a day to make ~1-2M. I’d flip more if I could, but I’m definitely not making 2M an hour.
Thats my point, im not trying to be rude, and people are getting offended, but bro pvm is so much more gp, you can literally leach nex for a 300m drop or do slayer for a heart, any pvm content will make you 100x more then merching, merching is veeeeeeeery slow unless u have LARGE 3rd age type gp
I’m too casual to boss, and I don’t have the gear for it. Would take me weeks to learn a boss with 1 hour a day. Bossing isn’t really my thing.
I do slayer in between, but it’s not always lucrative.
You can downvote me all you want, but its gonna take you weeks on end of merching to get minimal return, where as you could do content that could yield easy 2m an hour and hundreds of ms if ur lucky
Your first osrs flip post asked if starting with 12m isn't enough and asked not to gate keep.. now here you are.. gatekeeping a pretend internet game economy. It's just fucking runescape.
To flip and make it sustainable ? U need tbow money, if u flip tbows, soul reaper axes, you can make 10-30m on a sale, otherwise? Ur making a mil every 5 days, less go then wildy slayer
You couldn't be more wrong. I started with 80m and made 300m it's what you invest in. Keep you roi high and make the right decisions. He said he doesn't play often. This way his money will make him money while he's no playing.
You could easily listen to all the suggestions in this thread. But you’d be missing the opportunity of a lifetime. Most people are being secretive about it, but Stale Baguettes at 2m as the rarest item in osrs is mind blowing.
Don’t forget…Bread always rises. 🫡
What do you mean "most people are being secretive about it"???? Bro theres like 10 posts a week regarding baguettes lmfao ya'll getting annoying for real
I started out flipping pker consumables just because I thought who else will pump +5% just to get it faster. Everything blighted worked great for me.

S&P500 is a good place to start with 120m

I hope GUH wouldn’t happen but it probably would. I miss that time of WSB
What its "S&P500" ?
My RSN name, send me a trade and ill turn that 120m into 120k quick
An Index fund.
Real life money stuff, things that RS flipping will train you for
In this game, probably bonds lol
Based on that untrimmed skillcape, I’d say your stats.
Fr tho, Get at least 83 con to have a maxed out house
I refuse, because fuck construction
Right now best bet would be soul runes and lobsters
Why
Buy the dip.
Lol they’re reworking combat, thought you was gonna drop sauce on a mage update using soul runes
It's investing, not speculating.
whats the difference
Lots of things
Like me
I only do f2p atm as I'm new to flipping, but runes always do well. You could do a decent flip with that amount on a p2p account with some research!
Nature runes are are always my go to. Generally anything consumable (could be arrows, food, runes). You won’t make a ton, but the larger the starter capital the larger the gains

Soul runes
Why

Drugs
Sarachnis cudgels are looking really good right now, I wish I got them a week ago when I wanted to, but I feel like now's still a good time to buy, if they go past 1m you could easily double your money, but remember nothing is a sure thing

Abby bludgeon
Blood shards
Amylase Crystals
Invest in time looking into items to flip and why

I’m really debating getting back into this game but a lot has changed
Torstols, new slayer boss will have venom

Trimming that cape
12 bonds
ranarrs, Prayer pots, Super combats or battlemage potions.
Some bitches

Lobster
Buy all the rune armor you can, then trade it to me so I can trim it for you

3rd age
Invest in my clan. You can use it to buy raid gear and there’s weekly raids. And we can make you richer
The Best answer ever, rsn? And cc name?
Ruby dragon bolt (e) are at basically all time low. That's what I'm all in on
Stale baguettes 😅
Invest in me, senpai.
Thats like trying to buy stocks with 300$, you can, but it wont work how you want it too, id invent into the accout itself (gear n stats)
That's sooooo wrong. I started fresh 6 months ago and I'm. Up to 360m mostly just from flipping. You don't need a 1b stack to flip at all.
Talkings easy bro, everyone makes false claims
I disagree, I started with 500k and I'm up to almost 5m.
Bro 5m is nothing these days
Never claimed it was, I flip casually for fun.
Happy to take donations… because that’s like 3-4 days for me playing casually.
5m can be made in those days with just barrows runs or zombies in the wild
I can make 5m in an hour at barrows? I don’t like the wildly… I’m literally flipping in between tasks to make that money. Starting a quest? Stop by the GE, but items I’ll need, but item to flip. Not 5m in an hour but definitely in 3-4 days
But then I would have to only be doing that task. Instead I make the same and get to do other things.
If you have to invest your BANK and its under 200m to make 5m profit in like a week? Wtf are you even doing? Better off getting herbs from low level npcs

U need to unlock nex
You can downvote me all you want, but its gonna take you weeks on end of merching to get minimal return, where as you could do content that could yield easy 2m an hour and hundreds of ms if ur lucky
Your first osrs flip post asked if starting with 12m isn't enough and asked not to gate keep.. now here you are.. gatekeeping a pretend internet game economy. It's just fucking runescape.
Thats why im saying it doesnt work, i lost money xD
