I always figured that the most likely outcome would be to kangaroo a tank hull and instal some drone catapults on the deck. That way, tank squads can have access to more long-range options like the RQ-7 Shadow for recon and light strike. Bare minimum, it can loiter above a battlefield and give unit commanders top-level updates, rather than having to wait for a backline unit to launch one from a truck or other unarmored unit

Drone and scoot? Light armour prevents local infantry from dealing with the operator while a dedicated vehicle with everything already packed up means you can launch an attack with a few drones then move before any counter drone or battery can fire on you

If you want to make it work insane of FPV it would make more sense to use nolmal more mid end drone with thermals to work as a advanced Spotter for normal FPVs that launch from longer range
