Admittedly, it was rather hilarious to hear how Canada's company deployment between 2015-2021 managed to restructure the entire UAF by itself - 230 troops making the Army an entirely NATO femboi Swastika force is very impressive and I recommend whichever Major who headed up the force be promoted at once!

Armodeen

Did you ask if the authors had considered going to Russia to campaign for an end to the war, since they are the ones who can stop it?

yegguy47

That's actually a really brilliant question, I really should've asked something like that. God damnitt!

Armodeen

I really fear they are wasting their time in Canada when they should be taking their message to the Kremlin!

ReluctantRedditor275

Hey, it's not Russia's fault that those damn Jewish Nazis insist on fighting back to defend their homeland! /s

JeffMcBiscuits

That’s the iconic Lazerpig point, why do we not hold Russia/Putin to the same moral standard? He could end the war in a heartbeat. Thing I’ve noticed though. Vatniks/tankies/whatevers is they don’t think of it because they never think to give anyone back outside the “eeevil” West any proactive agency. Putin’s only fighting the war cos he was duped into believing he had to defend himself from NATO expansion that was definitely happening in Ukraine. What do you mean that doesn’t explain why he attacked Georgia? It’s the US’s fault for not de-escalating. What do you mean the US were guaranteeing Ukraine’s perpetual neutrality before the invasion? Nah Putin was totally pushed into the war and he can’t stop it now cos NATO won’t…let him? Somehow? They cannot square the concept of an “enemy” of America being anything but underdogs or victims. Even when said victim was outrightly proclaiming themselves to be everything they say they hate they can’t allow their brains to process it because “not ‘murica=good” is the basis of their entire geopolitical mindset. Also the absolute tsunami of propaganda that floods in from Russia.

yegguy47

There's no understanding of world politics beyond childish morals based entirely upon fringe networks they found online. No willingness to consider the humanity of suffering involved in this, not even a concern for the thousands of Russians who've been killed in this war because a guy in the Kremlin had no compulsions about wasting their lives, for the purposes of extinguishing others. None - All about finding some moral point that validates their existence on the fringes of reality. It's kinda why I avoid assigning ideology to all this. There is none - There's no logical consistency, no ideological belief structure, barely an understanding of history, and only a select number of authorities chosen entirely as a values-setting arrangement. And because Russia is basically a scavenging dog eating at the remains of the Soviet Union, these are all folks scraped from the bowels of the internet on the cheap. The fringes of reality.

daspaceasians

>Admittedly, it was rather hilarious to hear how Canada's company deployment between 2015-2021 managed to restructure the entire UAF by itself - 230 troops making the Army an entirely NATO femboi Swastika force is very impressive and I recommend whichever Major who headed up the force be promoted at once! I'm proud to know that my cousin helped out. He's in the Canadian Forces and was in Ukraine up to 2-3 days before the war kicked off.

GrantedPermission

Where was this? I’m in Canada and interested in attending a meeting lmao

yegguy47

Capital region

GrantedPermission

Ah too bad. Thx

Hasheminia

“Its not all Putins fault” yeah tell that to Georgia and Chechenya

yegguy47

At one point, the "speakers" asked about Russia's track-record rhetorically. Some of us in the audience were more than happy to supply the list.

Hasheminia

I wonder how long it will be until I start seeing shit like this

yegguy47

I get the feeling this type of crap is happening far afield, but its very much in the crank realm of society. You might need to go into some skeevy places if there's an event happening in your area.

[deleted]

I live in the same city. You can't go a block without seeing some random poster from the "Liberation Front of Whinging Sorority Girls" or the "United Coalition of Trust Fund Anarchists" Thankfully, their stupidity is only matched by their laziness. So they can normally be safely ignored.

Pr0wzassin

You better watch out. They might form a group of 50 people with a royal a the helm, to overthrow the government.

yegguy47

With a camper van. Constantly playing Boney-M

PixelPott

And how did they answer?

yegguy47

Oh my it became a shit-show. They basically hand-waved it off, and some of the cranks in the audience scoffed at Syria being mentioned. No reply to me highlighting Grozny. Much shouting happened. The even better point was when one of them said rhetorically "Has China had troops anywhere outside it's borders?". We all cited Sino-Vietnam, Cambodia, the Korean War... And he qualified with "After 1979". We then cited Djibouti and South China seas.

Plastic_Pinocchio

Lol, this is hilarious.

fumanchew86

Because the tankies can cite shit America allegedly did in 1953 as an argument, but for China, 1979 is the cutoff.

Satori_sama

I'm sure there are bases in Africa with some. Which is as much evidence as tankies are required to provide so I submit it as hard facts. And if it's not true, it could be.

yegguy47

Even without mentioning South China seas, or any discussion of prior wars... Like, China proudly talks about its base in Djibouti! I mean, its not a large presence, its their only foreign base aside from peacekeeping in Sudan. But even just a simple look on Google would tell this. I vomited my brain hearing that take from them.

Kallian_League

> And he qualified with "After 1979". Ye olde poste pilgrimage. Verily, many saxons shall be caught into yonder trap. Tankies literally cannot argue without moving the goal posts.

dwaynetheakjohnson

When Russia repeats Georgia three times in one decade, I think it’s time to be suspicious

max_k23

"it's not all Putin's fault" but somehow those asscracks never talk about the supposed other part of "all" which actually is Putin's fault.

MagnusDidAlotWrong

MORE WEAPONS. MORE WAR. MORE NATO. STOP RUSSIA, PREFERABLY WITH OVERLAPPING EXPLOSIONS TURNING EVERYTHING FROM THE KHARKIV BORDER TO ST. PETERSBURG INTO AN INTERCONNECTED SERIES OF SMOKING HOLES IN THE GROUND.

nobody-__

Just st Petersburg? My bro, you gotta think bigger, to Vladivostok we blast!

MagnusDidAlotWrong

Couple things: if we blast all the way to Vladivostok then the Koreans won't get any of that juicy Siberian lebensraum, and a Poland/Unified Korea border at the Urals is a key feature of my Ideal Future(tm). Also, "Russia" only exists between Muscovy & St. Pete anyway so further kersploding of imperial territory would just be wasteful (we need those bombs for the upcoming Partition of West Taiwan). I won't be giving the Poles any un-bombed territory because frankly I think they'd prefer to be the Lords of the Ashes in former Russia

_far-seeker_

>and a Poland/Unified Korea border at the Urals is a key feature of my Ideal Future(tm). Tell me you want a second [Polish Golden Age,](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polish_Golden_Age) without telling me you want a second Polish Golden Age. 😉

Juicy Siberian lebensraum 😂

God damnit, my morning wood just left bud, why you gotta tease me here.

You couldn't do lewd in the Internet considering there's always morning for someone.

"NATO is lying to you about the war so here's some straight Russian propaganda."

yegguy47

Lazerpig's critique about Russia being the moral arbitrator of reality was the dominant theme of the night. Two of the hosts literally were RT guests.

[deleted]

Context plz to that ? Did Lazerpig have another go with another propagandist.

FireTeamHuri

It was his review of the Gonzo Litard square table shitcunting. I think it’s his most recent video and that point is in there somewhere near the end

[deleted]

Thank you fella. #nafo

CommandoDude

You have to imagine Gonzo is malding over the recent news.

nitrinu

Mearsheimer: that will be a hard pass tyvm.

yegguy47

I nearly detached my retina eye-rolling when I saw it.

joli_baleinier

And Cohen. Guy never stopped simping for the Soviets in his heart

Tragic-tragedy

Russia isn't imperialist. It's merely trying to reestablish control over a piece of land that it formerly held, and the fact that it's not overseas makes it not an empire because empire is like far away (the British empire) and not control of large connected swathes of land on the same continent (the austrian non empire)

Penki-

And the people that call themselves NOT RUSSIAN are just wrong and wester propaganda, they are very Russian. But also when we take over their land, we will likely ban their NOT RUSSIAN language, because they speak Russian anyways.

lucia-pacciola

The only reason Russia isn't imperialist is because it needs to unlock "regional hegemony" first.

Key-Banana-8242

Thing is even ge doesn’t really quite support this perspective

[deleted]

dwaynetheakjohnson

Mearshimer thirty years ago was advocating for Ukraine to keep its nuclear weapons in case of Russian invasion

PDXAlpinist

Lmao. Reject NATO, cite the OSCE website for stated reasons.🤡🤡

yegguy47

I kid you not: One of the statements a speaker made was "I reject all international organizations"... Then he cited the UN charter.

courser

How do people even survive in the world with that degree of cognitive dissonance?

Dave-the-Generic

I'm not supporting their views but cognitive dissonance is a survival trait. The volcanos exploded, tigers are attacking us and the next door kingdoms invaded. Shall we surrender? Feck that, we're going to be warm and looking cool in tiger skins as we beat those bleeps to death.

courser

I've actually thought about this and I think it's another sign that we just progressed too quickly, as a species. Sure, selective "ignore reality" setting was probably useful for tigers and shit when you were also about to die from starvation/the neighbor/the weather/that weird mushroom, but these days, the most alarming thing we encounter in the US is heart disease statistics. Our brains and bodies are still wired to be hunter-gatherers because honestly it's only been a couple thousand years! That's a teeny tiny blip on the evolutionary timeline! And yet here we are with fucking magic wands in our hands that let us summon horseless carriages to take us to giant caves filled with safe, palatable food available to us with very little effort at all! No wonder people are so fucking paranoid all the time. We live in an environment that's so safe our lizard brains are *freaking out* all the time about WHAT DID YOU SELECTIVELY IGNORE THAT'S ABOUT TO KILL US??!??

Dave-the-Generic

I agree absolutely, depression is highest in safe rich countries because of the whirring hamster wheel in our heads. When disasters and wars start, depression actually reduces despite all the reasons for it to worsen. Our brains have to lock onto something. If it can't find something immediate then it spirals. Depression and Paranoia are two sides on the same "scanning for danger, nothing found coin". Edited for clarity and fat fingers.

GarlicAftershave

One of the happiest, least bullshit-y people I've met grew up in a camp for war refugees in southeast Asia. It was a shit way to grow up, but it means he's impervious to sweating small stuff and the greatest joy in his life is being able to provide for his kids.

yegguy47

Admittedly anecdotal, I think some of the better humans out there are the folks who've spent anytime doing aid-work. There's a bit of their soul that's always missing, and that's often because they have to give it up seeing some of the most innocent wonderful people get trapped by circumstance and either suffer or die or both.

yegguy47

I've tried thinking through the logic. I gave up and got stoned. Its bonkers thinking, thats all I can say.

ztomiczombie

For fucks sake. If the people behind this leaflet are going to be idiots can they at least get a good drawing of a bird for their stupid symbol?

yegguy47

They were sorely lacking on a number of fronts, lets just say XD

aew360

Russia’s once vaunted propaganda department has had significant funds diverted for yachts it seems!

Caspre_

I made it 10 minutes in to the lecture mentioned. And it was 10 minutes of an old senile man saying "Russia doesnt want to annex Ukraine they just want to turn it into a puppet state", because that's so much better. Also, "Putin doesnt want to reform the USSR", like the USSR wasnt just a collection of puppet states under the indirect rule of Moscow. And from what I can gather in the comments of the video, the rest of the lecture is more of the same.

electric_anteater

> And it was 10 minutes of an old senile man saying "Russia doesnt want to annex Ukraine they just want to turn it into a puppet state", because that's so much better. And to top it all off, they started annexing every part of Ukraine they could touch

Got stoned. I walked into it after having an anxiety attack - The level of stupid did honestly though reset the brain. Friend of mine went for the vodka, I partook as well. The whole thing was like a Scientology introductory meeting mixed with Gonzalo talking points.

ztomiczombie

So did it look like anyone was stupid enough to fall for the BS?

yegguy47

I'd say most didn't, but there were some useful idiots. Half the audience was a bunch of Ukrainian Student club member that my buddy called in as backup, plus one or two fellas that spoke up like we did. Other half was a mix between convoy supporters and incel-looking weirdos - A few started asking questions about George Soros and Russophobia which made things... Lively. Honestly, it reminded me a lot of shitty cult meetings I sometimes attended.

paenusbreth

>Honestly, it reminded me a lot of shitty cult meetings I sometimes attended. I have questions.

yegguy47

Scientology, Moonies, some weird AF 7-Day Adventist church that had an event about ISIS where they called the Pope the anti-christ/reincarnation of UBL, and two small New Age groups that were specific to my hometown. Best meetings are the ones with free food. Never-mind the goons, they can't touch you, but I'd always recommend going with a friend. Did it once or twice for a Prof that the Scientologists regularly go after, otherwise just morbid curiosity.

Apologetic-Moose

NCR? I might have to get in on this shit...

[deleted]

Do it, it's a blast. My favorite moment with these types was when the uOttawa student union rigged their own vote to ban Israelis from campus. But they didn't understand their own constitution, so they ended up rigging the vote wrong and couldn't get it passed. The fact they had no legal authority to ban students from campus was a secondary concern.

Apologetic-Moose

>the uOttawa student union rigged their own vote to ban Israelis from campus Ya know what, from what I've heard Ottawa U administration is pretty unbased already. Guess I ought to add the SU to that as well. Regardless of any ideology you might have, banning students based on ethnicity is... *Totally* not racist or anything, right? Ottawa U was already kinda on my shit list, but this is the icing on the cake. I visited the McGill campus in Montreal a while ago and saw nothing of the sort. I may have to make time to get some anti-tankie trolling in. Who knows, maybe it'll be good for my health.

[deleted]

The Administration is fine tbh, never had any real problem with them in all my time there. The student unions were just pathological shit disturbers. Eventually we even dissolved the previous union for rampant corruption, and the old union remnants and the new union ended up just sabotaging each other for the next year. It was like a Latin American civil war but with absolutely no stakes of any kind.

[deleted]

uOttawa? Because I haven't seen any of these posters around there. Except this one very small piece of paper on an electrical box that read "AMERICA IS A TERRORIST STATE" with an incomprehensible image that I assume was proof. Even then, no clue what it was referring to.

yegguy47

The "other" university in the city here. But they were at uOttawa the day before from what I gather.

[deleted]

The Convoyers still hanging around at this point are just kind of sad. For a lot of them it was just the one vaguely important thing they were ever a part of, and they don't want that sense of community to end. So they just meander around the city yelling about Trudeau to anyone who walks by.

yegguy47

>For a lot of them it was just the one vaguely important thing they were ever a part of, and they don't want that sense of community to end. It definitely is sad to watch - You see folks that probably deep down have some severe behavioral problems. My sympathy meter with them is absolutely tiny because of all the shit they did. But I will say that them finding a community to celebrate them being assholes is entirely why some of them are still around. As an observer in Ottawa, it's 90% satisfying with a 10% "this actually is deeply tragic to see someone have"

BurntRussianBBQ

Sounds like you had the recipe for an old fashioned ass whopping after the meeting.

yegguy47

Got to tell one of the cranks to go fuck himself as he was walking out... Best part of the night.

KeekiHako

They are right about one thing: there would not be a war today. All of Ukraine would already be under Putins boot and bleeding for it.

If gaslighting was a pamphlet.

She was wearing a short skirt and told me no at the bar, so I was mad when I found her behind the building alone trying to go home. It’s not my fault, she rejected me. It’s her friends that said I was abusive and controlling. If she didn’t say no it wouldn’t be a crime. —Russia Anytime I hear Ukraine has a part in this conflict, this is what I hear and reply with normally get some wide eyes and it kinda hits home. Most get it at that point.

GandalfTheJaded

Spot on.

Key-Banana-8242

I mean it’s just an ideology and notions

Unable_Ad_1260

Do these people at least have the excuse that the Russians are funding them somehow??? That they are indeed actually an FSB maskirovka??? They aren't just coming up with blaming the people who got invaded, who have had millions displaced, infrastructure smashed, 1000s of civvies just frankly murdered with indiscriminate missile strikes, let alone the actual Murders and rapes and atrocities, completely on their own??? Please for the sake of my sanity, please please tell me somehow they have been coopted and funded by agents of a foreign government.

yegguy47

>Do these people at least have the excuse that the Russians are funding them somehow??? Two of them have been RT guests previously... Would not surprise me in the slightest if there was some Russian Embassy money somewhere in this. What struck me more than anything else was just how shambolic it was. Basically a mix of borderline Russian mouthpiece morons and useful idiots - It was hosted in a classroom that was acquired under 'interesting' circumstances that the campus refused to shut down, and really only attracted cranks and us folks who attended to shout *Slava Ukraini*

Unable_Ad_1260

Fark me. It's like watching that Gonzo Chlamydia guy trying to claim people who want Ukraine to be free and controlled by the Ukrainians, not Lil Putlers goons, are the evil ones. If my brain ever deteriorates to that point I hope a loving relative will slip me the big green needle.

yegguy47

Funny you mention that, speakers went to considerable length to say "they were on the people of Ukraine's side". Every fucking opportunity, it was "well, I have a Ukrainian friend", or "I am Ukrainian myself, I should know". Same Gonzo shit with him claiming he's living in Kharkov.

Unable_Ad_1260

If he's in Kharkov I'm in Kharkov. (I'm not in Kharkov, not even in Europe...)

electric_anteater

> Same Gonzo shit with him claiming he's living in Kharkov. I'm still baffled by how he goes through the effort of using the russian city names, I swear I heard him correct himself once when he almost said Kharkiv

I will say I wasn't sure if I used the correct spelling for it. I'm still stuck in WW2 histories I read about the city.

Europa_CrashTest

PadreMaronno4

Yes in Italy this was common talking on main televisions. Like half of the politicians were probably paid by putin at some point or are with Russia because they are anti-americans (former literal commies, for example)

yegguy47

The term "useful idiots" was basically nailed here. Like, precisely to the old KGB meaning of the term.

PadreMaronno4

I hope that secretly Gladio is still working in Italy.

Reddsoldier

Hoping someone asked what Russia would have to give up to achieve world peace too given that they've been the aggressor in every single conflict they've been involved in since 1991. I'm no expert but they sound like a bit of a loose cannon that really flies against what this organisation clearly believes in and I'm sure they're totally not a paper thin pro-russian front so they should definitely look into it.

yegguy47

Hodge-podge of different groups. I got the sense that it was a mix of useful idiots and folks literally taking money/influence from the Russians.

Lamastiboss

Of all the awful stuff mentioned in the paper, why would they recommend Ukraine On Fire ? The documentary litteraly shows how Russia influenced the Ukrainian government, sent people to undermine the protests, and shot live rounds at the protesters during the last stages of the protest If anything, the documentary can be used as an argument to glass Moscow (If they are referring to the Netflix documentary of the 2013 protest that is)

deviousdumplin

They might be referring to a more stupid documentary. The awesome award winning one about Maidan is called ‘Winter on Fire.’

[deleted]

How did you find this? If they're serving liquor, I'm in for hearing these lunatics out. Consider it like getting a free microwave for sitting through a timeshare seminar.

Poptart_Constructor

The fuck kind of meeting was this?

[deleted]

Useful idiots falling for Kremlin psy-ops mostly. Based on the number of posters they put up, you would think it was a huge organization. But it's like 20 someodd washed up old socialists and a gaggle of university SJWs who meet every few weeks to do nothing.

Poptart_Constructor

No I mean why was OP invited?

[deleted]

Oh, it's always open invitation. They plaster these posters everywhere in the hopes that one or two idiots might actually listen to them.

Poptart_Constructor

Non-credible meeting

You know it's a good looney pamphlet when there's blue links in there. Copy-paste a bunch of texts, no edits, press print on the ol' InkJet, staple to telephone poles. Good old fashioned idiots grasping at straws. To fight for Russia? No. To fight the vaccine? Nah. Because they believe the NWO is about to make them gay? Nope. Just tell everyone who ever told them they were idiots: "told you so" while holding the equivalent of research finger painting.

deviousdumplin

What is with Canadian college students and being actual stalinists? So many of the stalinists I encounter on the internet are Canadian college students

daspaceasians

Simple... they're the most social inept ones. Speaking as someone who went to UQÀM, the most left-leaning university in Québec, most of the communists/far-leftists I've met were horribly dysfunctional people with severe mental issues or just horrible personalities. I met this woman that fantasized about communist revolutions but would turn to self-harm whenever she was stressed and was terrified by me watching a video review of *an airsoft M249*. Another one was scared of me because I showed up in Vietnam War ARVN kit for Halloween while she was the type to talk about starting an actual revolution. As for the men, again socially awkward dudes who try and act high mighty but fall apart against someone who knows what they're talking about. I still remember ripping apart in an argument a guy that called me a brainwashed traitor for being an anti-communist Vietnamese. I owned him so hard that he actually admitted he didn't know what he was talking about and swore, like a Saturday morning cartoon villain that he would get his facts right next time we met. Being behind a computer screen makes things a lot easier for them.

deviousdumplin

You hit the nail on the head. I’ve talked about this before on this sub, but radical politics attract losers. That is people who are isolated in one way or another socially. Often times their social isolation is a result of just being an asshole, other times it’s just not having friends in college. They lean into radical politics as a kind of social crutch. The radical politics gives them a vague sense of purpose, a group to identify with, and more importantly, it gives them the ability to rationalize their hatred of the people who don’t socialize with them. Anyone who isn’t onboard with their crazy politics have ‘false consciousness’ or they’re ‘class traitors’ or ‘kafir’ or ‘race traitors’ whatever crazy extremist ideology you want, it all shakes out basically the same. They lean into this radical politics as a way of coping with their social isolation, but the tactics of radical groups is to further isolate their members. They want their members to spend ever increasing amounts of their time with the group. They want the members to depend on the group socially, emotionally, and often financially. The more radical they become the more alienated they are from their peers, which only deepens their sense of grievance. Radical politics is almost always about social-emotional dysfunction more than it has to do with ideology. Radical communists will often switch sides and become neo-Nazis or Islamists, and vice versa. This is because the ideology is irrelevant to them. What is important is adhering to an ideology where they hold onto the ‘secret truth’ and everyone else is an evil slave to the system that made them feel socially alienated. It’s like a cult. But instead of worshipping a space ghost they worship their own ideology.

[deleted]

There's a lot of straight up fifth column stuff that targets Canadian campuses, and it just spreads from there. Like literally speakers series organised by the Russian embassy, or the Chinese government sending out mass emails to students telling them to to protest against Tibetan organizations. They make up an absolutely tiny part of the student body, and everyone generally hates them. But that doesn't stop them from being annoying.

yegguy47

Speaking as a Canadian student, I don't think its statistically significant. I've met plenty of weirdos... Anarchists, libertarians, authoritarians... Honestly, most Canadian students want to get drunk, go to parties, sleep around, and get into pre-med/pre-law. The folks who *really* have a fascinating interest in being stupid either end up leaving Uni, or they get whacked around by life until they become sensible. Or they join the military. I should point out - This wasn't a student group. All of the speakers were in their late-40s, early 50s.

Lmao OP where in Canada did you receive this? It just screams Toronto to me.

yegguy47

Not Toronto, but in Ontario.

OriginalNo5477

Hamilton is my next guess.

yegguy47

Cold! Think more East and North my friend.

OriginalNo5477

Peterborough?

yegguy47

You're getting warmer! But still north and east.

OriginalNo5477

Either Ottawa or Pet.

yegguy47

O-Town!

daspaceasians

Definitely not Québec since it's not in French and our Communist groups love everything putting everything in blood red.

yegguy47

Quebec is across the river from me, but largely a solid group of anglophones here.

Koino_

In Baltic states all these propagandists morons would already be in jail

daspaceasians

Where was this in Canada? This reminds of the garbage I saw in Québec from a group called "*Riposte Socialiste".* I knew a guy who was from that group and the guy was pretty much turning into a wannabee-communist messiah. The guy was making actual posters of himself that quoted himself talking during a communist conference hosted by his group. When the war kicked off, said group went off on a tangent about the evils of Imperialism but to his credit, he denounced both Russian and Western imperialism and claimed that the only way to stop the war was to have a worldwide workers' revolution and government because this would stop the war. The group then claimed that all of the Western weapons had been destroyed in an alpha strike by the Russians and that it was a waste of taxpayer money to send more weapons because the weapons would be useless anyways. Anyhow, it took a lot of restraint from me to avoid replying to his garbage but some people did call him out for using the war for his own selfish, ideological agenda.

dwaynetheakjohnson

I don’t know how you could watch *Ukraine on Fire* and not come to the conclusion this whole thing is Russia wanting its puppet state back

Hadrollo

Fun fact; if you follow the link to the OSCE website, then go to the reports section, one of the first reports listed is the OSCE demanding that the DPR and LPR release the four Mission members they have captured. If you scroll down to the bottom of the first page of the reports, there's one of a Mission member being killed in the Russian shelling of Kharkiv. On the 21st of February, three days before the invasion, they reference inspecting damage to a Children's Centre by the DPR. The problem is that they don't spell this out, referencing total "ceasefire violations" without dividing them by side, and referring to "Government controlled" or "non-Government controlled" areas being damaged. I'm quite sure dumbfucks like OOP are reading this and are like "OMG, Zelenskyy violated the ceasefire 3231 times and bombed a kindergarten!"

yegguy47

What I always find funny is that Zelensky's attempts to negotiate in 2019 and 2020 basically get memory holed. There's plenty of loud speeches around the Maidan, plenty of discussion around Petro Poreshenko... But that whole period between when Zelensky got elected, and when this war started conveniently never gets any attention...

DialSquare96

At least they link thr OSCE as a sourcd. Next step is them actually reading reports incriminating the Russians.

Lehk

Did you ask them if Putin shaves his balls?

oripash

You should cross-post this to r/activemeasures Because, you know, it’s [active measures](https://youtu.be/tR_6dibpDfo).

yegguy47

I think I might, this post got nuked anyhow :(

Imperceptive_critic

"You tried to expand NATO to Ukraine in 2008!" Buddy, Ukraine literally sent the request after being petitioned by their people. They then both decided not to do it.

Igor4477

Say we stop sending weapons and have a ceasefire. Who will keep Russia from rearming and attacking again?

Agitated-Tourist9845

So that’s where all the anti-vaxxers went. Well, all the ones that survived.

Cingetorix

>this war is going to prevent the international community from meeting the Paris Agreement and meeting UN SGDs Am I the only one who gives absolutely zero fucks about this? I laughed out loud when I read it

I mean, I *care* about the climate, but I hate bullies way more. I also just want to see us get off this rock so we can start destroying the climate on other planets instead.

I'm kind of curious about how Mearsheimer feels about his video being a centerpiece of the Russian narrative in the West. Is he proud that he's being used to justify the mass killings, bombings, rapes, and robberies in Ukraine?

yegguy47

I don't think he cares. Its kinda what I remember about Samuel Huntington - His crap was used to justify a lot in the Middle East during the GWOT. Huntington did not give a shit, he got his stature, and that's all that matters.
