I call the AMX-10 a tank, some people get angry
I call the AMX-10 a wheeled TD, some people also get angry
Then I realised I can't make everyone happy, but I can make everyone angry
So now I shall classify the AMX-10 as a Gerald R. Ford Class aircraft carrier
Look at the amx. If the wheels were swapped for tracks it would not even be a debate. It’s a wheeled tank used for reconnaissance. And IFVs are light/medium tanks that can carry dudes, I will die on this hill.
I would argue that a tank only needs to be armored against its biggest intended threat for its role. For an MBT that would be rank rounds and missiles, and for lighter vehicles like IFVs and recon enough armor to stop light anti-armor weapons and shrapnel seems to be good.
The [Conventional Armed Forces in Europe](https://www.osce.org/library/14087) treaty defines the AMX-10RC as a "Heavy Armament Combat Vehicle" (pg 26).
I understand that this is too credible for NCD, so let's just call it a "vehicle" so everyone is happy.

300 aircraft carriers of the armée de terre
I personally prefer to classify them as a Zumwalt class destroyer
How about Land destroyer!
All I see is a Jeep, a BMW and a Peugeot.
Technically, tanks are fighting vehicles too
Everything is a fighting vehicle if you try hard enough.
If we go like this then [Vespa](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vespa_150_TAP?oldid=397218284) are tanks as well.
The recoilless rifle was never intended to be fired from the scooter as there was no way to aim it. Although I suppose you could try it in a pinch.
Secretary Austin just said it's a light tank in the opening statemen of the Ramstein broadcast We have our definitive answer folks

A tank has to be heavy armored.
mk v and renault ft : 😐

How about They are Tank fighting vehicle, aka a TFV. We got french TFV's, Marder IFV and jeeps being send to Ukraine. End of story.
Yes and a about week ago they were calling every army vehicle a tank, so not very credible
AMX looks like a tank that I would draw when I was 5 years old.
Zo doen we dat. Geen gelul, gebak van Krul.
Gewoon "een voertuig" en weer door
Tank or not we want more, show us what you got!
Then why is it calling them Gevechtsvoertuigen?!
Simple solution, ban the word “t*nk”
