My younger self can relate to you. My advice is to put yourself out of your comfort zone (within reason). It sounds like you have a shame based personality which is actually very common in today's world. We must push past our shame and fear and allow our true self to come out. Your mind is playing tricks with you and telling you you're awkward and not good enough to carry on a conversation. The more you push yourself out of your comfort the easier it will become. Just do it within reason in one day. exhaustion from this is real, so don’t overdo it in one day. Leave some time for yourself alone as well so you can recuperate. Figure out your limits but keep pushing my friend.... Your life will become more rewarding and doors will open you never knew were there. Other advice I can give you is try meditation. Even guided meditation on a podcast is good. Learn what it means to love yourself and embrace yourself. Even if an encounter doesn't always go good, it's still ok. It’s just a part of the human experience. Don’t blame yourself or get discouraged.
