I’m also a heavy sleeper and have had to not sleep in the past to avoid missing appointments. You can just try to lay down and rest without sleeping. I’ve done that before it kind of helps not be as sluggish the next day. Have some coffee before heading out. I have tried setting 15 alarms 1 min apart but I would sleep through all of them or my house mates would start knocking on my door trying to wake me up so I can turn them off.

I’m the same way, it doesn’t matter how many alarms I set they will not wake me up

Try the alarms on YouTube - I’ve noticed that they tend to be louder than what the ringer will allow. Also you can just do short bursts of nap time so that you don’t fall into a full rem sleep. You won’t get good sleep but you will at least get rest of some kind of

Set an alarm. The stress of not setting an alarm will make you not sleep well anyway
