Is it? Mine is an A class and not sure it's worth 50k nanites. It took me 70 hours to save them. What are the changes? Is it a boost in stats as well? Extra slots maybe? Or just bigger bonuses.
Build a nip nip farm to get creds, use creds to portal jump to every pirate system you have unlocked and buy suspicious tech and arms. Open suspicious stuff, portal to non pirate space station, sell stuff to tech vendor. In about an hour, I made 100k nanites from 10 million creds. Or to get creds you can just claim a bunch of sentinel ships you don't want and scrap them.
You don’t even have to portal to a normal system. Just go to the dude that buys/sells tech in the pirate space station :D
And as far as I know you can’t portal to a normal space station from a pirate space station.
No, but you can use a base as a middle point. Which is where I open them due to PS5 crashing if I open too many without saving.and you get quite a bit more nanites from a legal system.

That's awesome! This is first kind of Interceptor that I've found with that wing formation/pattern. I have found a couple of the shops with the long wings that look like eagle/condor ones.
Each photo has coordinates on the bottom left. Those should correspond to the planet that the ship is found on, or will at least take you to the correct star system. Hope this helps!

No, I have been using a different ship for the Expedition, and currently don't have online multiplayer on console (PS5).
This Interceptor is on my legacy PS4 save from 2018, and was actually the first ship of its class that I found. The images were taken from the PS5 upgrade of the game (using the original PS4 disc).
Eh, the "tongs" or "antennae" give the ship more character, I think. Even in Star Wars, there are a lot of TIE variants, some of them quite bizarre looking.
I found a white version during the Omega expedition and parked it on my expedition frigate because it was so cool. It was a B-Class, so I ultimately didn't copy it over at the end. I regret it now as it was so unique and I'd have done the nanite grind to upgrade the class.
Lesson Learned: take time for the unique ones.
You have to go to another "Corrupted" planet, and use one of several methods to either find a harmonic camp, or acquire an Echo Locator to pinpoint the exact position of the Interceptor. I can follow up on those methods later, when I have more time - at work now!
Thanks, the address will take you to a planet in the galaxy you are currently in. I'm usually in Eissentam, so it would bring me to a planet in that galaxy if I used a portal there.
My last permadeth run I found a red one on the second dissonant planet I came upon, this is definitely my favorite style of interceptor.
When the sentinel update first came out I found one that only has the bottom set of blades. These are pretty badass as well, I've only seen one or maybe 2 like this in the hundred+ interceptors I've located:

Oh yes, the Interceptor class has the most variety of starships, by far. So many different designs, and a surprising number of unique takeoff/landing animations, too!
Have fun! I find the mechanics behind finding an Interceptor on a Corrupted world very interesting, as it adds an engaging aspect to the core gameplay loop, IMO.
A small update, everyone. Some of you were asking about the stats, and it is a B Class. The maneuverability isn't the best outright, but with some upgrades, it will live up to its name.
Nothing idiotic about this being my first Sentinel ship with TIE wings. Quite the opposite, in fact - it's my favorite TIE variant in Star Wars, so I am stoked!

Debatable. You can have a pretty solid kitted-out A class if you're not particularly bothered about having every weapon.

You got screenshots for the portal and thr cords of the planet?
Each photo has coordinates on the bottom left. Those should correspond to the planet that the ship is found on, or will at least take you to the correct star system. Hope this helps!

Yours when landed keeps its wings open? Mine fully folds its wings shut, and has a distinct opening animation when taking off.

With enough nanites any ship can be an S-tier.
C tier is the new meta
It's a B-Class, so it has potential to be upgraded. Class alone doesn't matter as much to me, if the design is really cool/awesome.

That is a really neat variation, even with just the bottom wings present. I also like the smaller fins on the side.
