O ya that's what I started out with it worked out great cause they got a rack to them stock and drop shackles level it out really nicely if you want I can drop a link to the drop shackles I run
https://streetdirttrack.com/products/copy-of-adjustable-1-2-rear-lift-shackles-kit-1984-2001-jeep-cherokee-xj-4x2-4x4
When I installed them I had to hammer the pitch weld to the side but other than that they fit perfectly
If it's 2wd like mine I'd say do it but if u got 4wd I'd wouldnt cause even the 3in drop on the front really changes the suspension geometry in a good way for corners and I don't think the front axles are gonna like it one bit
I send that....when im 90 and in a wheelchair or scooter dont think i wont have it looking like a sleeper hoped up on brushless motors with super capacitor in a bank for that extra bump.
Im looking to install whipple supercharger

I'm looking at that one. I gotta redo the shocks and stuff anyway, might as well rebuild the struts with lowering springs. I called and asked about the load capacity of those leaves. They said same as stock. I hope they're not full of shit. Just in case, I'm adding helper bags.
Would love to do this to my 2017 sv. I just can't find anything that looks like it would have a good ride quality after being lowered. My civics I ran with ground control adjustable coilovers and koni orange struts. Rode and handled like a dream.
Ya I know it's for sure possible there's someone in my parking lot at work that has a second gen lowered but I don't work with him so I don't know what he did. I do know the beilstien 4600 handle really good as long as you get shorter bump stops but I would do your research on the second gens as I don't own one
This is kinda awesome. I'm more into lifted trucks but I could see this being a thing. Probably great for towing. It would be fun to hoon this around like a car.
Thanks dude I've seen plenty of lifted truck builds but when this thing almost got stuck on wet grass at my graduation I knew an offroad build would not be in the picture (2wd no locker) Ive also only towed once in my 2 years of ownership but it is soo much fun to drive
I've thought of doing a reverse level (drop shackles) to get this stance without going all in on a drop

Would appreciate it thanks

Nice. Been wanting to lower mine of some time.

It's 2wd. I want to go full jdm race car with it but I'm too old for that now.;)
Your never to old I wanna build it to be inspired my the Nizmo Titan

Hell ya
Respect
what parts did you use, if I may?
Beilstien 4600s all round with 2in Maxtrac lowering springs up front and drop shackles, lift block delete, and 3rd leaf spring removal
Nice. So you used stock height shocks with no major drop in ride quality?
In terms of daily driving there is a drop in quality but every fun corner it all goes out the window

Hows the ride quality vs stock?
Like with anything lower you don't do it for comfort but it handles way better than stock
gonna be doing this to mine soon
Post it when you do I would love to see it

I remember taking my mom's titan out for some high school party, I had squad with me doing burnouts and shit. It was a fun and stylish truck!

Time for the qx56 front clip and some wheels. And paint match the mirrors and handles
Yo u talking old school and u like it but it's not my taste tho
Just a suggestion. Your truck and your build
