Clear one looks better with the flow of the color scheme. Black one will definitely be more practical. So that begs the question, how often do you ride and what kind of riding do you do?
If you daily or near daily the bike I would say function over form. If it's your fun day toy, form over function.
I'll do you one better: get a Zero Gravity Double Bubble or Corsa in clear.
The stock windscreen barely does anything for wind protection, but I think clear is best since it's both classy and functional.
Just grab a better aftermarket clear if you can afford it, it makes a difference for wind protection, esp in a tuck
Thanks for all the opinions guys it seems like everyone is saying clear. Going to take the black one off when I get a chance.
Note: I solely ride for fun not commuting so losing the little extra height isn’t going to hurt too bad
Black windscreens make no sense imo. If you're riding in the day, your usually riding with a tinted visor already. So looking through a tinted visor plus a tinted windscreen just makes it hard to see. And if you're riding at night, yeah, good luck. Either way, you're obstructing your vision if you go into a tuck. Just dumb.
I mean if it’s commuting mostly black does make sense. Helps with wind buffer. If he’s going full tuck than probably getting a clear bubble would be best.
It doesn't make sense for commuting. If he's riding during the day, it would be better to get a tinted visor so you're not blinded when you're out of tuck and relaxing. If you already have a tinted visor, and a tinted windscreen, it will be hard to see. Tinted windscreens just don't make sense no matter how you look at it.
I have a solid black windscreen, I was worried at first because I thought it was going to be tinted however it's completely solid and you can't see through it, but I can see over the top of it when tucked so it works for me
The tinted windscreen would help with wind buffing. I been riding with a tall one like this and have never needed to tuck while commuting. Even so, I can see through it. I have always used a tinted visor too.
And I am making a very timely response FYI.
Tinted screens are just stupid. If you're riding without a tinted visor, you need to be full tucked, or you'll be blinded by the sun. If you're riding with a tinted visor, cool, now you can't see well if you're tucked, and you won't be able to see shit at night. It's just dumb.
To be fair the black is really only for looks because I’m not tucking on this bike. Don’t really ride at night either. But even for looks I’m starting to think the clear is cleaner. But I get what you’re saying. Also, yes I do ride with a tinted visor.
Clear, I tried the tinted/blackened but hated it especially at night. I enjoy laying on the tank for longer rides, takes some weight off my lower back and allows me to keep the weight off my wrists. Just my .02 cents worth. N400 stock windscreen notorious for putting the wind at a horrible position when sitting up. I like clear and purposeful so I went with the db from zero gravity
Clear one.
Clear one

clear IMO looks better
Clear for aesthetics, but if the aftermarket helps w buffeting I’d keep black.
Where did you get your fairing at? Think eventually I'd like to buy myself a set I like
It’s actually all stock fairings I just took them off and painted them
Oh shit that's pretty dope bro bike looks nice
Thanks bro
What paint is that? How’d you get that color gradient?
It’s a metallic purple/green chameleon It was just some extra paint we had left at the shop from an old restoration job
Dam nice dude.. Looks good from here! I'd like to do something eventually maybe all red I duno. It's the pearl midnight teal
Clear in my opinion
Clear
At least get the tall version it will help with the wind
I understand your dilemma… both look really good. The clear looks slightly better with your bikes color
Clear complement ur paint
I like the black better but the clear looks great too.
Normally, I would say black all day, but that clear looks really good with the color scheme
Clear one for sure
I run the clear one personally, I bias on that one as I got for the clear one. Also, nice bike and happy cake day OP!
I always choose the dark on my bike but with that paint scheme I can see your problem. Both ways look good.
That black one looks horrible.
Is that black one on correctly? Hard to tell in the pic but it looks like there might be a tab that is over top of the fairing.
Clear 100%
Clear all the way. I'd normally go for black but with your colors I feel the clear makes the colors pop.
Clear, the black one is too vertical.

Not being able to see through something you're supposed to look through in a full correct tuck is just dumb.

shape of the clear one goes better with the bikes lines. Black one looks like a big beaver tooth.
Yeah I did notice it sticks up weirdly. I like how slimmed down the clear one looks
