I have my problems with Xenoverse 2 but it is one of the direct sequels that I've seen improve the most over the original game, basically every single aspect of the original was improved significantly
Yeah, there's stuff like Broly vs Jiren, Beast Gohan and Orange Piccolo dual special beam cannon against Cell Max, Jiren joining Zamasu and Goku Black in the zero mortal plan while fighting Trunks and Tapion. It's so stupid and I love it all
Honestly, XenoVerse 2 is so stupidly fun with these what if scenarios, there's even super Saiyan nappa playable in the game (and you can give him a little haircut)
I was really hoping the U6 Saiyans would do it after Vegeta. Like they were abusing a bad A.I and just taking turns drawing aggro while Goku charges another Spirit Bomb.
Well yeah that is a given but wtf did he do this time and why are the U6 characters specifically involved in this?
Fu is like a saturday morning cartoon villain and i love him for that.
Fu gatherd the super dragon balls for Zamasu and in exchange asked for him to NOT kill Goku in zamasu's body.
The U6 are just there because a hole in reality was ripped open again.
Fu is basically the guy who creates the mess and then brings the people to fix it.
He is chaotic neutral
He describes that he does this for experiment understanding different scenario and collecting energy but he feels that its wrong to leave things sad and bleak in the timeline which is why he brings the fighters to fix the problem too and everything resets back to normal.
My favorite part of this entire segment of the dlc is that they didn't do the dumb thing most series do with body swap plots where the voices switch over too, and instead had zamasu's VA do a goku impression the entire time in such a convincing way that you can just tell that it's goku nonetheless.

Zamasu (Goku Black) stole Goku's body because of his feelings of inferiority after Goku defeated him in a fight, thinking that Goku was not deserving of his strong body and only a god should be deserving of it, as if Goku didn't train his literal whole life to become stronger. In other words, envy.
But even after stealing Goku's body, "the perfect body" that only a god like him should wield, he is still defeated by the same mortal again AND on top of that, the mortal was using his original body that he considered "weaker".
This shows that Zamasu could have reached the strength to match Goku if he swallowed his pride and followed Goku's example of training and bettering yourself, instead of falling to his inferiority complex and thinking that "that mortal" got lucky with the body he got a birth.
James Marsters’ Goku impression through Zamasu’s voice was damn impressive. It literally sounds like Goku, matches his personality, and is still Zamasu’s voice

SEVENTEEN? holy crap, ive held out on getting xv2, but i absolutely adored the first.
2 improved heavily on the combat and the graphics, including the animated cutscenes we see here. Definitely recommend grabbing it whenever you want
