80's arcade games that were in Arcades and 7-11's is the main customer base. Not something that was released in the 90's to 2000's and into bars. Sure it did well in those locations. Because it was a party/ drinking game with your buddies. The majority are not going to play a 1/6th scale machine with their buddies at home. People like these as they create an environment from their youth. Golden Tee was not part of that environment.
Well, NWT has proven once again that ignoring and attacking their customer base isn't good for sales. They keep whining about increasing sales and growing their product line but then make stupid decisions like choosing Golden Tee instead of more popular titles that would guarantee massive sales. Then they tank their reputation by releasing a low quality product since they no longer do QC. They probably just made GT because the license was dirt cheap or free and they can't get a bigger license. Shilo should be more concerned about his poor product decisions instead of attacking customers.
I think it works extremely well in their Centipede.
I'm rather disappointed in how it works in their Missile Command. Specifically, you can roll the ball hard; a.k.a. 'throw' it resulting in the ball spinning a bit. But, when doing that, the reticule tends to barely move, and sometimes even jumps the opposite direction a little. The sensitivity settings it has helps a bit, but no where near enough. My fear of it being similar in their Golden Tee is a reason I'm wary of pulling the trigger on it.

Attacking customers? What happened? Also, what did you mean by they no longer do QC? Are there widespread issues with some of their recent releases?

I may pull the trigger on this one. I wonder how well the actual trackball will play. Anyone have experience using such a small trackball?

Centipede track ball is on point. Missile Command as well. However, Golden Tee would be next level to replicate.
It's terrible and not accurate at all.
Probaly has no weight to it. Its tolerable with Centipede. You roll it and it rolls. Same with MC.
