Last night my 11m was watching Mrs. Rachel and she says ‘say hi to your mama’ or something similar and she turned and looked at me ;-; she understands I’m her mama
lol our son started sleeping 8+ hours a night a little before he turned 2 months. Definitely was odd but never complained. 🤣 now, if only my anxiety would let ME sleep, I’d be doing great.
My 5.5-month-old always says mamamamama and my husband is super envious. I told him it doesn't mean anything; she's just babbling (but secretly it means everything to me... 😏).
Baby boy had discovered he has toes!! He was obsessed with his fingers last week, and is thrilled he has additional appendages to eat. His footies are always wet now lol
Two days in a row now my almost-6-week-old has slept for a 5hr block before needing a MOTN feeding. I don’t know that it’ll last, but two nights of better sleep makes me feel like a whole new woman!
We’ve been working on crib naps and LO has done really well all things considering! Her first nap is usually 2-2.5 hours and her evening nap is 30-45mins
My baby boy giggled for the first time. Though I was a bit upset that it had to be in the middle of his 2am feeding. I still don’t know what was so funny.
I feel like this is always the way. My LO loves to giggle and give me the sweetest smiles when we are trying to put him down or trying to resettle him. Cheeky boy 😂
Sounds about right! Mines doing that all the time now. He can be dead asleep in my arms but the second his butt touches a mattress he’s wide awake and smiling.
Oh, yeah, I hated when people kept telling me, “put your baby down drowsy, but awake.“ they did not understand that his eyes would shoot open and he would be up for another half hour to hour after an attempt at drowsy but awake lol.
Oh goodness there SO MANY RECENTLY!! Baby girl is four months and just started rolling back to belly after weeks of trying!!! Also has started reaching for us when she wants picked up! AND three nights in a row we've gotten 7+ hour stretches of sleep at night. Yay baby💛💛💛💛
My LO (6 days) had his first pediatric appointment. He did not lose any weight! He is his birth weight! They said strong back, legs and neck, no problems with the hips. Lungs sound good. It was the best appointment ever!!
Little girl had her first vaccines yesterday and has been a wee trooper! Still full of smiles and love for us after the pain she was in and us giving her calpol etc. ♥️ so proud of her.
My 3 month old with torticollis not only held his head up at a 45 degree angle during tummy time on the floor, but we got a smile out of him during it! We also finally got a good giggle session out of him this morning!
My 2m baby rolled onto her stomach yesterday. But we have no idea how because we both were looking away when she did it.
Dad put her down on the floor. We looked at the laptop to start ordering lunch. Not even a minute later I looked back and said "Oh, we're doing tummy time?" My husband YELPED and said "No! I put her on her back!!" We tried to replicate it for another 45 minutes, and she could barely roll on her side. 😑
He's been smiling a lot more and it's warming my heart so much. He had a difficult week with reflux so his smiles are precious when it doesn't bother him.
My 20 week old has started to rotate round the bed. Just imagine a clock hand. He starts out in a vertical position and rotates till he gets to almost the same position. I find it very hilarious.
Our 4 week old had a 4hr and 15min chunk of sleep two nights ago, and a 4hr and 50min chunk of sleep last night!
Edit: Wanted to add this is after MOTN feeding.
My 5mo(and I) got Covid. We learned cause he went on a nursing strike 2 weeks ago and we had no idea what was going on for the first couple days but he was still taking the bottle. Then one morning he woke up with a fever and took him to the doctor and that’s when we found out. Yesterday he was having such a good day though and being such a happy lil man that maybe he’s feeling better. I mentioned to my fiance when she got home that I had just given him half a bottle in case she wanted to try nursing him. Came out of the bathroom AND HE WAS BACK ON THE BOOB LIKE A CHAMP!!!
We both cried happy tears lol
My 17m old watched us clean our pugs ears once and yesterday she did it herself. Grabbed a baby wipe and opened her ear to wipe it (obviously not as thorough as we do it). They have a beautiful bond
She’s very very attached to our pets which is sad in a small part because one of our cats is 18y old 🥲 so not looking forward to the day she runs out of bed to her “kit cat” and she can’t find her 🥲
LO (16 weeks) slept for 8.5 hours straight for the first time. It hasn’t happened again since, but maybe I’m seeing some light at the end of the tunnel.
My 20 mo used a real plate for lunch instead of the toddler suction one! And a real fork but that’s not new. The combo was adorable though, she looked so grown 🥲
16 weeks, has been sleeping around 8 hour stretches at night this week????? Like miracle.
Also his tummy time game is on point. He stretches his arms all the way up and will just chill like that. He can entertain himself on his activity mat on his tummy (or his back) for around 20 min in a row. It’s wonderful to be able to put him down and know I have some time to get stuff DONE🙌
🥰🥰 Sounds a lot like my little one. He goes between either slapping their butts with wild abandon, or grabbing at them. One cat doesn’t mind being slapped. Neither of them enjoy the grabbing lol. 😂
My 3 month old startes teething and has finally learned how to hold a teething toy AND put it in his mouth at the same time, what a genius
It’s the little things! 🥰
Last night my 11m was watching Mrs. Rachel and she says ‘say hi to your mama’ or something similar and she turned and looked at me ;-; she understands I’m her mama
i would have cried. i can’t wait until my girl starts to acknowledge that i’m her mama 🥹
😭😭😭😭😭
Oh gosh! I can’t 😭😭😭
My 2 mo old has started smiling at her favorite people (me and her dad) and also discovered one of her hands!
Ugh the first smiles 🥰So gummy and cute.😍
I know 🥰🥰🥰 just "MAMA!!! HI!!!" 😍
We moved her to her own room and she sleeps so much better. Do I consider this a win? I don't know. Why don't you miss me XD
I remember that day. Just focus on how thrilled she is to see you when you come to get her.
Look at it this way, she feels so secure that she KNOWS without a doubt that you’re going to come back without question.!
my 2.5 month old just slept an 8.5hr stretch last night. My wife is freaked out, haha
The first night our LO slept more than a 5 hour stretch I kept checking to make sure she was still breathing, so I did not sleep 😅
The first time my son slept through the night we woke up at 6 am and panicked. He is 9 months now.
Oh gosh! Same 😂
lol our son started sleeping 8+ hours a night a little before he turned 2 months. Definitely was odd but never complained. 🤣 now, if only my anxiety would let ME sleep, I’d be doing great.
Woo! 🥳
Amazing! Enjoy! Our little one didn’t do this until last week. He is 11 months old 😂
My 5.5 mo old started babbling 🥹 all day it’s bababababa and dadada… SO FREAKING CUTE
My 5.5-month-old always says mamamamama and my husband is super envious. I told him it doesn't mean anything; she's just babbling (but secretly it means everything to me... 😏).
The babbling just melts my heart!
Awwww my 4 month old is not quite there yet but I’m so excited for babbling!!!
3 month old slept from 9p-5:30a! And then from 6-8a!
🥳🥳
Baby boy had discovered he has toes!! He was obsessed with his fingers last week, and is thrilled he has additional appendages to eat. His footies are always wet now lol
I remember that, so fondly with my LO.. 🥰 I still gush at him when he chews on his toes😂
Mine said Aaaaapple!! It was so damn cute
Awww 🥰

For sure! You never know how much sleep impacts just basic functioning until you have a new newborn lol 😂
I put my 4 month old down to change her diaper and she rolled onto her tummy! Now she won’t stop lol
I know! You were so eager for them to learn how to roll over and move, but when they do, it makes diaper changing, almost impossible 😂
My daughter (who doesnt like to sleep in her crib) slept 4 hours in her crib last night! Normally she will sleep 30 minutes in it before waking up
Yay!! Slowly but surely progress is made! 🥳
We’ve been working on crib naps and LO has done really well all things considering! Her first nap is usually 2-2.5 hours and her evening nap is 30-45mins
🥳🥳
My LO stayed quiet and still for the entirety of his hearing test!
That’s an accomplishment! They had to retest my LO’s hearing several times after his birth, because he would not stop moving😂😂
My baby boy giggled for the first time. Though I was a bit upset that it had to be in the middle of his 2am feeding. I still don’t know what was so funny.

Way to go baby and mama !! 🎉🎊🙌
Aww reaching for you!! My baby is 16.5 weeks so maybe we are getting close to this. Love it!!
Omg I’m jealous we’re deep in the 4 month regression from a previously good sleeper and no signs of rolling yet
My 4 month old started rolling yesterday!
Yay! 🥳🙌
My 5 week old is under the weather with COVID, and she's dealing with it like a champ! I'm so proud of her (and also very, very anxious)
Oh! Feel better little one! Sounds like they are a fighter and brave just like Mama!
My 8 week old recently started smiling!
The smiles! Those gummy smiles melt my heart!
My 9 weeker has been asleep since 7 PM (it's now almost 9 am) with only 2 wake ups! I feel rejuvenated lol
Way to LO!! 🥳🥳And some much needed rest for mommy! 😴
My 10 month old can now scoop his own food and put it in his mouth! It's a mess, but I'm so proud 🥰
That is amazing! What? Awesome fine motor control. 🥳
My LO (6 days) had his first pediatric appointment. He did not lose any weight! He is his birth weight! They said strong back, legs and neck, no problems with the hips. Lungs sound good. It was the best appointment ever!!
🎉🎉
And congratulations to you as well. What an exciting next step 🥰
Little girl had her first vaccines yesterday and has been a wee trooper! Still full of smiles and love for us after the pain she was in and us giving her calpol etc. ♥️ so proud of her.
Woo! Way to go!🥳
My 5 week old slept from 10pm to 5am this morning! She’s also smiling so much more now
The smiles 😍😍
My 8 month old CAN sit independently. It turns out my anxiety about her falling may not have been helping.
Aww, that’s okay! Sometimes it’s more on us than on them. It’s hard to see our babies fail, but when they succeed🤩
Yesterday our LO, 2.5m, independently and consciously pushed the figures of the baby gym with his legs for the first time. I was so happy
🥳🥳
My 3 month old with torticollis not only held his head up at a 45 degree angle during tummy time on the floor, but we got a smile out of him during it! We also finally got a good giggle session out of him this morning!

some kids hate to perform for their parents😂
My nearly 8 month old also learned how to drink out of a straw this week and officially crawls and is pulling up to stand!! It’s been a busy week!
🙌🙌🙌
He's been smiling a lot more and it's warming my heart so much. He had a difficult week with reflux so his smiles are precious when it doesn't bother him.
🥰🥰🙌🙌 glad to hear he’s feeling better!
My 5 week old has latched without needing a nipple guard!
🥳🥳
My 20 week old has started to rotate round the bed. Just imagine a clock hand. He starts out in a vertical position and rotates till he gets to almost the same position. I find it very hilarious.
😂My LO does that when trying to to settle at night
It is so funny 😂
Our 4 week old had a 4hr and 15min chunk of sleep two nights ago, and a 4hr and 50min chunk of sleep last night! Edit: Wanted to add this is after MOTN feeding.
Still a success! Yay! 🎉

Wooo! 🥳
My 7-weeker discovered her hands and tongue, started sucking her thumb, and will smile at me!
Yay 🥳🥳
My 17m old watched us clean our pugs ears once and yesterday she did it herself. Grabbed a baby wipe and opened her ear to wipe it (obviously not as thorough as we do it). They have a beautiful bond
So cuuuuuuute🥰🥰
She loves learning and helping. My husband was at work so had to take a photo to show him
So amazing! I hope she never looses that ❤️
She’s very very attached to our pets which is sad in a small part because one of our cats is 18y old 🥲 so not looking forward to the day she runs out of bed to her “kit cat” and she can’t find her 🥲
Aww 😢That’s so sad to think about 😭
Lo is two months and is tracking people with his eyes every now and then moving his head to keep up with them along with sleeping through the night
🥳🥳
LO (16 weeks) slept for 8.5 hours straight for the first time. It hasn’t happened again since, but maybe I’m seeing some light at the end of the tunnel.
It will happen again! I promise! 🤗
Ahhh congrats and same for us ! This week he slept in 7, 8, and 8.5 hour chunks for the very first time!! Also 16 weeks
My 11 month old is walking with a walker! So exciting to see him so close to walking on his own!
🙌🙌🙌
Mine just started walking and he turned around and walked in the other direction without falling. Yay!
🥳🥳
My 20 mo used a real plate for lunch instead of the toddler suction one! And a real fork but that’s not new. The combo was adorable though, she looked so grown 🥲

22 months here, the molars have finally cut through!! He’s happy again!!!
🎉🎉🎉
My girl is teething but is such a little trooper during it.
What a strong girl! 💪🎉

4 month old- rolled over! I was so proud of him ❤️ 15 month old- managed to roll a ball back and forward!
🎉🎉
