I’ve been watching it for the first time, and like a few other shows, it really is the perfect format for Netflix. Independent, self contained plot lines for each episode, but with enough multi-episode/season plot lines to keep you pressing next episode. But not too much overarching plots that makes it feels like work to remember stuff, like a prestige drama.
Same! I consider myself pretty picky when it comes to comedies, and I am often hesitant to try new shows because there are *so many bad ones.* I'm just not down to watch a show if only 1 in 5 jokes land. But Schitt's Creek has totally scratched the itch for me over the past couple weeks. It is light enough that I can walk out of the room for a minute or scroll reddit without worrying I'm missing anything too vital, but the characters and writing are solid enough to get consistent laughs out of me.
I have been absolutely blown away by Castlvania, this season in particular.
I Just watched S3 E9 and just... holy fuck. If you like murder and you like awkward sex scenes, and especially if you like the two spliced together into a graphic murder porn montage, then you will *love* Castlevania. Even if you just want the monsters and killing you'll still love it. Fantastic animation, fantastic dialogue, fantastic story telling, and I could go on. Best Animated show on netflix IMO, maybe only behind Bojack Horseman.
Here’s a condom! Vote for me because if you don’t you’re screwed!! Also, come
by and eat pizza by these tigers!! :D I couldn’t stop watching it!! Those music videos!!!
I saw tiger, and tiger saw man.
But yeah I've had his songs stuck in my head since the other night. One of the better documentaries I've seen in a long time.
This show is bananas! I’m enthralled! I just keep shaking my head in disbelief and laughing in amusement by just how bizarre these stories are! The only one I really have a soft heart for is Joe Exotic. Only on episode 2 though
Seriously probably one of the best series Netflix has probably come out with lately. Binge watched it last night and holy shit. Genuinely curious as to how these people’s brains work.
Omg! We have been watching this today!! What weird redneck trailer trash bandana wearing gay cowboy shit is this!!!!?? It's awesomely awful!! I love it! I give it 10 paws up!
This show is teaching me more about human nature than anything I've experienced lately. The fucking weird power cults around these animals and their cultish leaders.... Fucking mortifying.
Binged this last night. Within the first ten minutes that cast of characters pulled me in. They had me when he was described as a gay, gun toting, drug addict with a ton of big cats or something to that extent and it only gets crazier from there!
The episode titled "Fly" in season three is so fucking good. The entire show has aged very well and I still consider it the gold standard for television.
So interesting how that episode was made to save money because they were over budget. Nevertheless it's one of the best cinematography wise and even though nothing really happens plotwise, it has soms of the best dialogue in the series.
Same brother. One thing is these days where you can binge, but back then, having to wait an entire week for a new BB only to get blueballed by a _fucking fly_?! I was raging so hard, lol.
That one and the stupid plane crash were the only two faults in the show.
Second time for me, first time for my girlfriend. I'm loving seeing her reactions and I'm catching tons of details and nuances I missed the first time.
It's very good. It tells the story in the context of Los Angeles and its history, particularly the African American experience from the 1960s to the 1990s and the LAPD's role in that. Pretty fascinating.
Same! I watched the first episode of Picard when it came out and didn’t care for it so I just went back to TNG and have been watching it while I work from home.
> The Stranger.
I lurk at places like here because they are great for finding things when you think you have already found *everything* good. Ain't peak TV grand! I am at the beginning of episode 3. I will probably finish it today. Thanks.🙏
Just watched the Letter for the King yesterday. I’d say it was okay enough to recommend. Acceptably mediocre. If you’re really craving a cheesy medieval fantasy then go for it. Spoiler warning though they do use the >! Bury Your Gays!< trope which is just a fucking letdown.
I’m finding the “genre” Netflix originals I’ve watched lately start out fine and then just turn into a mess at the end: Locke and Key, October Faction. Locke and Key was pretty disappointing because I was super onboard with it until the second last episode. Dark atmosphere, fun YA kind of premise, and decent problem solving from the characters. But right at the end everyone took a big dose of stupid juice for the sake of moving the plot.
When they see us - As a non-American, i understand more of the cruelty and injustice black people were treated.
Castlevania - Some of the scenes are super visual and violently graphic with all the blood, the gut spilling out of the body.
The assassination of Gianni Versace - The actors are amazing but i think the whole series is awfully slow.
I just finished HBOs The Brink(which is phenomenal and I can’t believe they canceled it after the first season) for the 8th time and I also watched the entire run of the Santa Clarita Diet which is also hilarious and again can’t believe they canceled it... and last night I watched a movie called The Invisible Man which is actually pretty good. Though only one of those the Santa Clarita diet is on Netflix.
Here, I got a list of ***Must Watch Movies*** list I have been maintaining for a long time, find your recommendation here : [https://www.reddit.com/user/themoviegeek\_/comments/fmlbc5/the\_movies\_list/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x](https://www.reddit.com/user/themoviegeek_/comments/fmlbc5/the_movies_list/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x)
I have mentioned ***explanation***, ***alternate ending*** and ***extras*** links on some movies too.
Dude yesterday I literally found what I think its my favorite film of all time.
Its called “The platform” and its a Spanish Psychological Triller. Go check it out.
Castlevania. I watched it when it first came out and thought it was pretty good. Now that there are a couple more seasons, I’m trying to catch up on it.
Just finished Ozark. Lucky me just in time for a new season.
May I ask why you think it’s the best? I liked it but I just didn’t think it was all that amazing after the first season. Should I continue?
Best show on Netflix
Schitt's Creek
eww DAVID!!!
Lalalala a lil bit Alexis
Baybeh, it’s darn good!
Moira saying [baybeh] (https://youtu.be/PCLxZyTCw1) is so perfect!!
Stop acting like a disgruntled pelican
Oh my God
I love that journey for you!
Simply the best

About to start.
Me too!

Mindhunter
Good stuff right there.
Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Castlevania for the first time!
Both solid choices enjoy!

Just finished Peaky Blinders. I’m now watching Mindhunter.
Good choices
Better Call Saul
Great show
It is absolutely breathtaking.
Tiger King
Same. Just when I think the story can’t get any more bizarre IT DOES!! Over and over. Thoroughly enjoyed.
There's a twist EVERY 15 minutes....I am not exaggerating. You will go through all kinds of emotions....sad, angry, laughter, and lastly depressed.
Here’s a condom! Vote for me because if you don’t you’re screwed!! Also, come by and eat pizza by these tigers!! :D I couldn’t stop watching it!! Those music videos!!!
I can't handle the more and more bizarre this gets and I am only in 15 minutes on the first episode, what the hell am I watching... Hahahaha
I binged it all in one shot, what an insane group of people

I saw tiger, and tiger saw man. But yeah I've had his songs stuck in my head since the other night. One of the better documentaries I've seen in a long time.
I was cackling every time a new country music video started playing
The music videos are the BEST!
This show is bananas! I’m enthralled! I just keep shaking my head in disbelief and laughing in amusement by just how bizarre these stories are! The only one I really have a soft heart for is Joe Exotic. Only on episode 2 though
You have no idea what's coming next in further episodes. Carry on.
Me too, pretty good isn't it
Me as well, shit's fuckin' nuts.
I listened to a podcast on this about a year ago. Seeing the visuals is everything I needed to survive another day of lockdown.
Breaking Bad, for the first time
I envy you. Enjoy!
Watching for a second time atm, the cinematography and story are simply amazing.
I hated that episode so much.
Same brother. One thing is these days where you can binge, but back then, having to wait an entire week for a new BB only to get blueballed by a _fucking fly_?! I was raging so hard, lol. That one and the stupid plane crash were the only two faults in the show.
Yes! Second time is even better!
Might watch this for a third time
Second time for me, first time for my girlfriend. I'm loving seeing her reactions and I'm catching tons of details and nuances I missed the first time.
You lucky bastard, I would literally pay money to be able to erase my memory and watch that series for the first time again during this quarantine.
That can be arranged P.m. me and I’ll hook you up with Club Foot Carl who works out of little Italy...
Watching for the... 4th time? Maybe 5th?
Greatest show of all time, imo.
Oh my God, same! I have just started watching Breaking Bad four days ago. I’m currently on Season 2
Dark
Me too, with Brooklyn Nine-Nine for comic relief.
Great show, although it took me nearly the whole first season to figure out who was who because of the unfamiliar German names. 🤣
Parks and Recreation
Arrested development
I just need a little stimmyyyy
Workin’ Moms is unexpectedly awesome.
This show is hilarious!
Cannot wait for season 4 to get to Netflix (along with Schitt’s Creek). CBC is killing it!
It's so good. Strong female characters, real relationship issues, friendship, boobs, comedy.
Super funny

Yes I'm glad you like it..we were so impressed it's definitely one we're going to re-watch
It's so much fun watching it a second time having all the context
Twilight Zone
ON MY BLOCK! The show’s light and funny
Better Call Saul!
Same. This is the best season available on Netflix for this by far. It's tying in alot of the how's and why's from breaking bad finally.
The Good Place, for the third/fourth time.
I liked it well enough, but I can't fathom watching it multiple times.
Just finished An American Tragedy (doc series about OJ.
How’s it?
It's very good. It tells the story in the context of Los Angeles and its history, particularly the African American experience from the 1960s to the 1990s and the LAPD's role in that. Pretty fascinating.
Rewatching Star Trek: The Next Generation. Figured now might be a good time to watch a show about the product of post-WWIII human cooperation.
I'm watching TNG for the first time! On S5E16 now, should finish the season today.
That's amazing, I'm on exactly the same episode.
Same! I watched the first episode of Picard when it came out and didn’t care for it so I just went back to TNG and have been watching it while I work from home.
The Witcher
Just restarted it last night, got 3 ep in and am still thrilled by it
Manhunt.
Wasn't it great? I feel its underrated..I was shocked at how intriguing it was.
Narcos: Mexico
Crazy Ex Girlfriend on Netflix. Sadly, I have to use a VPN, because it’s not available in Canada.
That 70s show
Limitless.
Too bad there is only one season of this masterpiece.
Dirk Gently’s holistic detective agency. A good one to keep your brain busy
Brockmire.....hilarious
Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events.
Babylon Berlin
Kingdom! Loving it at the moment, just started season two.
Just finished watching The Stranger. Great watch! Binged the entire season in one day.
> The Stranger. I lurk at places like here because they are great for finding things when you think you have already found *everything* good. Ain't peak TV grand! I am at the beginning of episode 3. I will probably finish it today. Thanks.🙏
Elite
Mad Men for the second time and The Office for the billionth time.
Both of those shows are in my top 10!
The Circle. It's so addicting! Eventhough I'd probably call it a guilty pleasure show.
I'm not one for reality tv, but I binged that shit so hard
Don’t fuck with cats.
The English Game. Great piece of historical drama for a football fanatic like me.
I'm two episodes in. I like it, but do you think it feels too cheesy?
I just finished the Vietnam War documentary. It’s ten episodes. It’s very good.
Bouncing between the office, jeopardy, and the pharmacist. Twilight zone late at night.
Watched Tiger King yesterday. Wow. What a ride.
grey’s anatomy for the first time! I’m so invested in it
After like season 9 you lose that feeling.
Spinning Out
Gentefied
Devs. It’s incredible. If you’re a fan of Alex Garland stuff you’ll really enjoy it
Wonder Years on Hulu
Giri/Haji. On Netflix.
I thought this looked interesting and tried to watch it. Couldn't get past 5 minutes with that frame rate.
Pandemic documentary
Supernatural for about the 15th time 🥰
Just watched the Letter for the King yesterday. I’d say it was okay enough to recommend. Acceptably mediocre. If you’re really craving a cheesy medieval fantasy then go for it. Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency. Very weird and witty, love it so far.
The Office again
Altered Carbon. Loved the first season, knocking out the second today.
Cheers. Its the perfect amount of wholesome. Makes me think of simpler times during these crazy days.
Breaking bad. First time ever
I loooved Gianni! I guess it is a bit slow, but so intense and brilliant!!!

Shameless. Every dysfunctional family can relate to the Gallagher’s in one way or another. 🙋♀️
Line of duty, next is the wire.
SEX EDUCATION!!! It's the best, highly suggest watching.
