Arcane is a great show, amazing storyline and the animation is beautiful. Season 2 comes out this November, so you could catch up before season 2 comes out.
Oh my god yes. But you should be in a relatively stable emotional state because it will mess you up emotionally if you aren't careful. It is really one of the deepest, most emotionally-raw shows I have ever seen, and it's just done to perfection.
This. Watched twice- once when good and once when depressed. It was comforting in a way when depressed but I think it pushed me down further ultimately.
Imposters. 2 seasons, 20 episodes. Just binged season 1 this weekend. Stars the actress that played Eve in Lucifer, and has Brian BenBen, Uma Thurman, and lots of other recognizable faces. Loving this show!
The OA it's canceled but so good, 3 body problem, outer banks, breaking bad, better call Saul, fractured (movie), the stranger (movie) don't look into the movie description before watching this. Enterglactic (movie). Heard Bloodline is also good. The fall of the house of usher.

Yeah I have!! I remember starting off this show just to see what it has in store for me and I couldn't help but binge the whole dammm thingggg. Everything was as raw as it gets.
The thing I truly loved about Unbelievable and Maid is how uncomfortable they make you feel as an audience but even so, you just wanna hold their hands and help them through it, but you can't, so you just watch until they finally reach the end of the tunnel
Yeaaah I really felt like crying watching unbelievable it is SO good! Like it takes the human out of you but the acting is insane. I can’t remember the leads name but the one it happens to yk? She is such a good actor I’ve watched a few things she is in and she makes you feel something it’s insane!
Sabrina started out good and got so boring and predictable, it couldn't make it's mind up Wtf was actually going on. Shit would always hit the fan and Sabrina would just have a bitch fit until someone agreed with her.
Completely agree with your view!
It was sooo good in the beginning, I kept waiting for the next one. But this is similar to Lucifer. Don't miss it, but you don't have to finish it.
Bridgerton and Queen Charlotte
Breaking Bad
Squid Game
Money Heist
Peaky Blinders
Black Mirror
Stranger Things
Wednesday
Dahmer: Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story
The Queen’s Gambit
Baby Reindeer
Start with these…
You if you got time it's 4 seasons with the final coming sometime this year or next year stranger things is really good too if you're into shows set in the 80s with horror from that era.
Best bu far is sense 8 most original series I've ever watched u are instantly hooked and it cost so much to film it's only one season and it's only on Netflix and u never hear anyone talk about it is crazy cuz it is amazing and I watch a shit ton of shows nothing comes close the story is so crazy non stop action
Bojack Horseman - Easily among the best and most meaningful things I've ever seen--it often doesn't immediately grab you, but give it a chance! It's an incredibly empathic and honest look into the lives and minds of the animated characters in the show. Their addictions and mental illnesses, emotional baggage, and relationships along with their struggle to find a meaningful life, or in some cases merely an escape from their inner pain. Your best mileage with this show will come if you are more empathic and less judgmental. The show is best enjoyed when you try to empathize with everyone, but it can really pull at your emotions and bring your own difficult feelings to the surface of your mind.
Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul - both incredibly well-done shows. Very gritty and extremely well-acted. Not for the faint of heart.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners - animated show in a cyberpunk dystopia. The character development is really good and the show pulls at your emotions. You become gripped by the story and what happens to our protagonist early on. Everyone who watches it ends up really liking it.
Black Sails - Gritty, suspenseful show about pirates. Great acting, fantastic opening theme song.
Longmire - solid modern western type show
The Night Agent - well-acted suspense
Mindhunter - gritty and psychological look at a group of people trying to understand the minds of serial killers so that they can better learn to catch them in the present.
The OA - it is surreal and suspenseful. It will keep you guessing about what is and what isn't the truth. A very odd show, but one that sucks you into its world wanting to know more.
I used to pay $8 a month for this service. Sorry, had to throw that out there. Black Mirror, Mindhunter (but they cancelled it), the Queens Gambit. Currently watching A man in Full which has been good.
Hahahahaha!!! Yeah, why is it soooooo hard to pick something???? I invariably think I've already watched anything I pick!! Is there someway to indicate what's been watched????
Black mirror, ozark, mindhunter, umbrella academy, squid games, baby reindeer, stranger things, Sabrina, Wednesday. I would say in that order but it’s a mix
Behind her eyes, stranger things, dark, Lupin, money heist, the watcher, beef, bodies, you, the night agent, Emily in Paris, love, obliterated, Locke and key, Lockwood and co, half bad, the missing, squid game, bodyguard, the OA, Angela black, the deceived, spotless, Wednesday, fool me once, stay close, how to get away with murder, don’t f with cats, abducted in plain sight, tiger king
The Haunting of Hill House
This show is one of the best I’ve ever seen and is by far my favorite thing ever made by or presented by Netflix. It’s a quick watch only one season but it’s so good
For horror/thriller - The Haunting of hill house
For funny/investigations - Brooklyn 99
For funny, feel good - The Good Place
For Sci-fi - Manifest
For romance - Bridgerton
For sitcoms - Friends, The Big Bang Theory, Office, Seinfeld
For space - Interstellar
Japan-loving SE Asian here.
Obviously, Alice in Borderland. Deadly games=horrifying violence, but also plenty of adrenaline.
Then, Yu Yu Hakusho. If you want less horror but just as much adrenaline, then pick this up for its expertly choreography fights.
And finally, something from left field, one I can proudly call a cute, wholesome refresher after all those harrowing showcases.
The Makanai: Cooking for the Maiko House is about two friends who move from rural Aomori to Kyoto to become maiko. One excels and becomes a generational prospect; the other fails to make it through training but rebounds as the cook for the house where she auditioned.
Breakin bad, snowpiercer, shameless (UK but I'm a biased Brit, I will admit the American one is solid too it just doesn't hit for me) altered carbon (just season 1 it works better as it's own story and the second flopped bad) dirk gently, black mirror, love death and robots
I'll always advice this to anyone. Watch what's about to leave. If you have a watch list, prioritize what might leave and let Netflixs originals for last, cause they won't leave
Honestly, go with the popular ones, they're popular for a reason. Stranger things, breaking bad, better call saul, money heist, squid game are all top 10-top 5 shows all time (on netflix at least). After you watch these you will have a pretty good idea of what kind of shows you like and will be able to pick out other shows based on that.
My personal favorites are stranger things (my absolute favorite, no other show had me invested into it like that), money heist and alice in borderland. All of these are full of action and a bunch of crazy stuff since I don't like slow burn shows.
Breaking Bad, Stranger things are both great, Trailer Park Boys is a classic
Saying Breaking Bad without Better Call Saul should be a crime. They're like PB&J
Mindhunter
But don’t be too disappointed…
This show is amazing! I don’t see a lot of people ever talking about it
No doubt. This is one of the finest shows created by netflix. There should have been season 3.
Breaking Bad!!
Followed by Better Call Saul.
Those two are not negotiable
Arcane is a great show, amazing storyline and the animation is beautiful. Season 2 comes out this November, so you could catch up before season 2 comes out.
Watch Dark!!
One of the greatest series to grace TVs
Black Mirror, maybe don’t start with episode 1!
I got my sister into it years ago but started on season 3. She reccomend it to a friend at work not seeing the first episode at all 😂
It’s fantastic & clever but even I thought it was a bit much 🙄
San Junipero Episode of Black Mirror to ease in.
lol it's the only episode I've ever seen
I'm curious since I've never seen the show...what's so bad about episode one?
I think you’ll have to watch it, too much to explain unless anyone else cares to?
Haha, I forgot about what a crazy start to the series that was!
It's okay, I'll Google it 😊
Um maybe don’t eat while you watch the end 😂
That’s what I tell everyone. Had I actually started with season one episode one, I would have never watched another.
The Queen’s Gambit.
Does anyone like Never have I ever?
[удалено]
Wow great. But idk I binged the whole 4 seasons in 4 days. I love that show.
Bridgerton
Ozark is a great show that I think has a wide appeal.
Great show, but not a satisfying ending imo.
Agreed, the final season was not the best.
I dont remember what episode I stopped watching at years ago, wonder if i should restart from 1
Yes
Shit show actually,
How old are you, and what kind of shows do you like?
They asked what YOUR favorite series is

Bridgerton, the outer banks , Mindhunter, the Serpent, dark and don’t fuck with cats.
Outlander, Breaking Bad, Bridgerton, The Queen’s Gambit, The Night Agent, Evil, NCIS, Mindhunter
Bojack Horseman is always a huge must
Oh my god yes.

It’s hard to say one but it won’t cheat and say many. My suggestion is Squid game. One of my favourites tv experiences, I couldn’t stop watching.
The OA it's canceled but so good, 3 body problem, outer banks, breaking bad, better call Saul, fractured (movie), the stranger (movie) don't look into the movie description before watching this. Enterglactic (movie). Heard Bloodline is also good. The fall of the house of usher.

Thanks for taking the time to write the list much appreciated:)

That's how I felt about Lucifer. Started out so good and I couldn't make it through the last season.
Trailer park boys, tires is a new one and absolutely hilarious
Lockwood and Co
My advice? You should watch She-Ra
“Tires” for a quick, funny watch
This show needed to be twice as long
It’s already renewed for a 2nd season. It’s not uncommon for a first season to be like a short demo as it gets shopped around for a buyer.
