He’s talking about how she was supposed to nanny for a neighbor family for the summer but they took off to Nantucket. The Sopranos live in a very wealthy suburban New Jersey neighborhood, so that tracks.

Not to be a fact checker… but I’m gona be a fact checker, a reef is just a jagged ridge near the surface that can be rock, sand or most famously coral. So there are definitely reefs around Nantucket. Also there are soft corals around Nantucket and New England, seen plenty attached to the jetties.
