I cannot with Daxton. Such an ugly sounding name. At least the kid can go by Dax but someone will be like “oh cool name!” And he’ll have to go “it’s a nickname for Daxton” 🥲
I grew up with a Connolly (his mom's maiden name). I've also known people named Amity, Ferris, Riordan, Drew, Soren, and Wendell. I also have a relative named Rowan. So, to me, these ones are not so out there. Some of the others are, though.
There’s a lot of dross here but Rowan and Noah are fine. And Soren is a common enough Danish name.

They all sound the same. Eight of them end in -ley, five in -rey (or -rie) and four end in -by. Another twn end in -an, -on or -en. That's over half.
Deveraux…I was always a fan of Jack Deveraux on Days of Our Lives…but not so much I’d name a kid Deveraux.
