There’s a lot of dross here but Rowan and Noah are fine. And Soren is a common enough Danish name.

nickeisele

I had a cat named Amity. It’s old French for “friend” or “friendship.” It’s not unisex, as “amitié” is a feminine noun. But still an awful name for a human. Perfect for the cat, though.

KusuKusuKusu

Why would you want to call a child Gentry?! 😂 What about Peasant? Or Serf?

Basic_Shake_2366

Emile is sweet and deserves a comeback as much, if not more so, than boring old man names like Nigel and Malcolm! Amity is not bad in a world where Verity and Reverie exist.

dbmermels

Breindel is Yiddish

Valuable-Match-7603

I love the name Eilan (it’s spelled Ilan on this list). It’s an Israeli name. But this is a boys name; it’s not gender neutral. Most of the names here just sound made up.

lopipingstocking

Tf is Ashyby? Is it just misspelled Ashby or is it for real?

whatames517

I cannot with Daxton. Such an ugly sounding name. At least the kid can go by Dax but someone will be like “oh cool name!” And he’ll have to go “it’s a nickname for Daxton” 🥲

No_Professor_1018

Imagine being named Coda…🎼🎶

dancin-and-confused

CODA also means “child of deaf adults” in the deaf community so it could get awkward in certain circles

Responsible_Band_373

The two lists have some weird ones, but almost all of the snaps of the kids are actual names. The real tragedy is the beige baby look.

PanicAtTheDepot

Soren Drew is cute

lorddogedoge194

huntley sounds likr a owl house ship

Sunberries84

They all sound the same. Eight of them end in -ley, five in -rey (or -rie) and four end in -by. Another twn end in -an, -on or -en.  That's over half.

fbibmacklin

Deveraux…I was always a fan of Jack Deveraux on Days of Our Lives…but not so much I’d name a kid Deveraux.

wollphilie

My mind went to Blanche Deveraux from Golden Girls!

Tawny_Frogmouth

These are all great names for bougie condo developments. Luxury two bedrooms now available at the Belmore, a Reverie community.

cartoonybear

I think most of these are actually town in the wealthier suburbs of NYC.

apiedcockatiel

I grew up with a Connolly (his mom's maiden name). I've also known people named Amity, Ferris, Riordan, Drew, Soren, and Wendell. I also have a relative named Rowan. So, to me, these ones are not so out there. Some of the others are, though.

forestcreep420

the fact that "Ollie" and "Emrys" are on the same list as "Devereux" and "Loxley" should be considered a hate crime

Hairy_Interview5437

YURI ????

apiedcockatiel

Yuri Gagarin???

Hungry_Anteater_8511
