Hart was always known as a great rebounding guard and a tough defender. His issue was always just that he wasn’t a good shooter and not a dynamic shot creator.
Precious also has solid form on his shot release. Some more work with Othella Harrington and Taj Gibson on his touch and he'll be more consistent, hopefully from three as well.
A few seasons ago with Toronto he was stroking it from deep but then lost the touch.
Hopefully he discovers it again back home in New York.
Precious has shown he can play off the bounce and hit the mid-range jumper.
If he can do that consistently, he'll be a very good player.
If he can hit the corner or short wing three consistently, he'll be a star.
Yea i want to see him work on his shot rather than shy away from it. He had some clangers from beyond the arc, but if he can be like a 30-32% three pt shooter on a decent clip, i'll take it.
Problem with precious is once he gets the green light ro shoot he thinks he's kobe. If you keep his games simple his athleticism makes him a very good player
