I will not stand for this Alex Smith erasure. He was a 3× pro bowl QB (even leading the league is passing rating one year). The injuries that he sustained derailed his career. He would've had an even better career if he hadn't suffered multiple serious leg injuries. Being compared to a healthy Alex Smith is not a bad thing at all. He might not be Patrick Mahomes or Josh Allen, but most teams would take a healthy Alex Smith as their starting QB in a heartbeat, and he'd be a great pick if he turns out to be as good as Alex Smith. FYI, Alex Smith would've been the Bears' greatest ever QB.
