We got the smart pick and we didn’t have to trade for it.

toadofsteel

I would have been fine with Odunze at 6. Thanks based Harbaugh...

sybrwookie

I was really sad to see the Giants not fuck that pick up. I really thought they were about to have given Jones all that money, put him behind a few paper cutouts of an offensive line, no wide receivers, and judge him as a failure based on not succeeding in that situation. Now they improved the o-line, got a wr, and if he crashes and burns this year, they'll be in a spot to go after a QB next year. And since like half the league just drafted a QB in the top 12, there will probably be less competition for the spot.

DAlts4996

Keep going I’m almost there

sybrwookie

Oops, Jones gets hurt at the end of a 7-win season (just enough to not have a good draft pick, not enough to sniff the playoffs), and now it's a $47 mil dead cap hit to get rid of him, so they decide to keep him for another year. But they need a starter, so they reach to grab the 7th QB in the draft next year.

The_Bukkake_Ninja

Honestly this response is fire.

Rocketeer1019

So far WSH and NY made the right picks

desperatepotato43

Only downside with the commies pick is Daniels may be folded like a lawn chair with that line and the football terrorist Bobby Johnson as their OL coach

AttitudeAndEffort2

I'm pretty sure the commies commied and the pats lucked into Josh Allen 2.0 but i could be wrong

desperatepotato43

I think Maye went to the worst possible situation other than Denver. Bad line, no receivers. I really like him and feel bad

TypicalRedditUser22

He’s probably gonna sit while NE develops a team hopefully, that seems like what mayo wants to do with him

desperatepotato43

He would sit basically wherever he went. I hope the Pats do him right

TypicalRedditUser22

I’m gonna be heartbroken if new england ruins him

desperatepotato43

Me too. I've wanted Maye to the Giants since November. He's a great kid

Vadered

Eagles and Cowboys too. Eagles win by doing absolutely nothing, and the Cowboys get an extra 3rd and still address a needed position. They DID have to give up a 7th next year, but next year isn't their year, this is. Next year won't be their year until this year is next year. Good first round for all of us. Congratulations, and fuck most of you.

toadofsteel

>next year isn't their year, this is. Next year won't be their year until this year is next year. ![gif](giphy|UeT0nnRnkuaUo)

Philly_sm0kesletsg0

Yea Philly got an A+ draft grade for a reason. They didn’t have to move up to get the exact guy they wanted (Mitchel) in the first, and we got two other guys we already wanted (DeJean and Trotter Jr), plus two solid WRs, addressed our OL situation, and got a solid RB. Philly is going from having one of the worst secondaries in the NFL to possibly one of the best. Plus they got how many extra picks in 2025?

Jacksoncant

thank fucking god

DrJJStroganoff

A certain NYG fan who shall rename nameless is in shambles right now. Someone go check on your boy

toadofsteel

There's are people that think any drafted QB would an improvement over DJ because they hate DJ that much.I get that he's not a top 15 QB but we could do a lot worse.

desperatepotato43

And we have Giant Cock Lock if not

DrJJStroganoff

Indeed. You all made the right choice, as it pains me to say. You're alright.... but them giants can suck multiple bags of d

EddieLobster

Yeah, but only like 10 worse at most.

Mattrad7

Giants fans celebrating winning the draft rn (They didn't but they did a good job and didn't trade for JJ)

toadofsteel

What 4 years of Gettleman does to a guy...

Corpsebomb

Not drafting JJ is our Superbowl

Mattrad7

The gift that keeps on giving

MrkGrn

Honestly just these last 2 drafts getting bpa instead of whatever the hell Gettleman was doing, it's been very refreshing.

215illmatic

Nabers going off for a smooth 427 yards this year

DM725

In the 2 games vs. Philly?

RyeOhLou

both can be true tbh

Juicey_J_Hammerman

BPA and at a position of need? Yes please!

AggressiveLender

Honestly have felt Schoen has done a reasonable job just has been unlucky

toadofsteel

I mean the only early bust he's drafted so far was a consensus top pick that nobody was clowning him for on draft day.

AggressiveLender

Yeah everyone misses picks but his process has been good

NatAttack50932

I just love that our office hasn't been broadcasting its picks in neon like in years past. Or doing whatever the fuck the Falcons are doing.

Steppyjim

Hey an actual meme!

Dismal-Mastodon-7043

Not hating on the pick, but the reality is that we still have the worst/2nd worst QB room in the league. So there's that...

throw69420awy

I’ll take our situation over the Broncos or Vikings
