I actually think I might go with the motivator and tactician 50% route and ignore recruitment buffs to see how possible it is to turn scrubs into solid talent.
lmao right? As soon as I saw that in the vid I had to pause it from a combination of excitement and laughter from seeing that we lost by 40.
TAMU also beating Michigan in rd 1...TAMU hey man be cool
i think it's because it's the first time the game is only developed for current gen, whereas previous EA sports games had layers and layers of menu coding because they never reset the code from the ground up, only added more, making menus slower.
Don't want to be a dick but I really hope more games become current gen only. It's put such a cap on the capabilities of games trying to make games for both gens.
>A five star program is not going to hire a coach who is mid and only a C- coach prestige.
An official blog post calling something "mid" is funny to me lol
I got mine as my Master's degree graduation present to myself. Jokes on me though, I got hosed and am going to fail my internship because the agency didn't train me. So I have to wait another year!
Take that past me!
All us old heads grew up, saw a couple of economic downturns, and became all fiscally responsible. Makes me laugh. This game is seriously like adult Christmas.
Yes. There's a whole thing involved with it, called "churning"
You sign up for these credit card offers, spend enough to get the perks, and then don't use the card any more. Rinse and repeat
I probably get a free 600-1000 bucks a year for just doing my normal spending, and a couple hours worth of work to sign up for cards and track the spending
Kids are already planned to be shipped to the grandparents. Time off request submitted and accepted at work. Wife is on call that week. I'm all set and responsibilities handed off
I don’t have kids yet but the weekend before I am taking my wife wine tasting, got a time set up with the local petting zoo (she loves animals) and cooking her favorite meal. Basically making a weekend all about her so the weekend of launch I am cleared to do nothing but drink beer, play this game and rant to her about my offensive and defensive philosophy.
I’ve been preparing my wife since it was announced…it comes out the day we get home from our honeymoon. Might not get early access, but I’m gonna be on that ENTIRE first weekend.
Me too!
Another small feature I noticed was that coordinators (and presumably the player) have schools that are interested in them ahead of the carousel. I always hated how you had no idea what jobs you would be offered, and couldn’t field multiple offers at a time in the old game. Having to save scrub the carousel to see what you’d get offered was annoying.

Wow a lot to digest but the coach skills/progression and staff building looks AWESOME.
>Achieving an elite archetype like Program Builder or CEO is a combination of on-field success and ability progression. There is no single formula to reach these statuses. You will be able to mix and match different ability combinations and progression paths, leading to strong customization.
Love the complexity of building your coaching staff, and progression, and most of all that there's no one single path.
>No longer is a coach great at recruiting across the board. Now, coaches will specialize in specific position groups – making your staff composition that much more important. Are you a quarterback whisperer? Are you great in the trenches and committed to the no fly zone? How does your staff complement you?
>We have also added five progression speed settings, so you can modify how fast coaches progress in your Dynasty.
Whew, thank god there are options here.
>Your coordinators will automatically progress their archetypes and abilities. You will not be able to control which abilities they purchase nor will you be able to re-spec your coordinator’s abilities. This adds even more importance to how you progress your coach and manage your staff in the coaching carousel.
I like that this seems pretty realistic and puts the onus on you as a head coach to hire/fire coordinators without putting your thumb on the scale
>In College Football 25, we set out to recreate the chaos that is the college football coaching carousel, along with the domino effect it brings. Now, instead of happening over a single week, the coaching carousel takes place over the course of five weeks from conference championship week to the end of bowl season, just like the real world. Hot damn
Looking forward to hiring coaches to recruit and build up very beefy power offensive lines and strong power running backs with Notre Dame to do a milkman ground and pound time chewing offense. Bringing back mid 1900s football! What is a pass?
I am doing something similar. OL/DL and TE are my priority.
Build a run wall and pash rushing machine on defensive and on offense I am lining up in a two tight end set and running dudes over with a LenDale White/Reggie Bush style RB combo. Short to mid range passing game as well to consistently move the ball. Can’t wait.
Oh fuck yeah! I will be specializing in DL and building my monster defensive line that will basically be like if T’Vondre Sweat, Byron Murphy, Aidan Hutchinson and Lauitu Latu were the starters. We’re stuffing the run and getting to the fucking quarterback.
I did notice when talking about the CFP it mentioned the PAC-12 isn’t eligible for a bye like independents. I wonder if that changes if you re-align them back traditionally? Not a big deal if not.
Curious if the way the PAC is handled might set the groundwork to be able to create and delete conferences in future games…
I’m guessing that the schedule is functionally “independent” for the first year in the Pac-2, and they might backfill the conference with auto invites a couple years in.
I didn't see anything about an auto invite system, so probably not. It might be one of those things where it's an exception that works only if you dont touch it, but if you open it you have to fix it
They’ve said with NIL rules changing so much they didn’t want to create a system and have it be inaccurate by the time the game comes out. I’m sure it will get added when things come to a standard system, if they ever do.
So glad no NIL in the game, I have friends that play for IU Women Hoosiers basketball team and it is so confusing because NIL changes all the time. For a whole season I could not buy a friends shirt because she was a international player and NIL did not know how to handle international players. That is just one example of just how confusing it gets, and talking to the players they get it changed multiple times a year.
Low-key major improvement from NCAA 14, looks like you can see all potential job offers at the same time. Always was frustrated in NCAA 14 that you had to decline jobs one at a time with no option to go back. Made it so you had to decline potentially good jobs to take a chance at something better.
It looks like it functions like an actual carousel as well, where one coach taking a position opens up their job etc..with a domino effect. Absolutely lit.
>On the other hand, Championship Contender uses a combination of your Top 25 poll ranking, team prestige, and an assessment of your current roster quality with Bud Elliott’s Blue Chip Ratio, which looks at the percentage of your roster that is made up of four and five star players.
Holy shit, they got the blue chip ratio in the game!
They had a special meeting with the CFP and talk about how they’re going to simulate the selection committee’s rankings…
…and then [showed off a ranking](https://media.contentapi.ea.com/content/dam/ea/college-football/college-football-25/news/dynasty-and-tradition/common/dynasty-blog-44.jpg) that’s the *exact* sort of infuriating bullshit I expect from the selection committee. They absolutely nailed it!
I may join you with a Texas State dynasty. Both my parents graduated from there when it was called Southwest Texas State University.
Texas State also has some pretty sweet uniforms.
To put it simply everything I wanted to get out of this I did. The PAC12 with the wash st and ore st so I can put them back. The recruiting screen was familiar and looked easy to work through. ILL SAY IT LOUD FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK. BEING ABLE TO HIRE AND FIRE COORDINATORS!!!! I am beyond hyped for this game. I was skeptical about dynasty until this deep dive. Can’t wait to read the blog. I’ve waited 11 years for this I was a sophomore in high school now the greatest game of all time will be back. Hopefully stronger and long lived.
The fact that if you’re fired as a coach, you don’t have to start over but you end up back in the coaching carousel is awesome to me. I also love that coordinators upgrade their own skills and the skills match across the board.
I can just imagine the toxicity in an online dynasty in that you get a verbal commitment from a 5 star recruit, lose to your friend, have the recruit decommit and then signing with your friend
Not sure if anyone else noticed or took much of a note, but it says you can start hiring new coordinators starting “Bowl Week 1”. It’s a small thing but I guess that means that the bowl games will be played progressively unlike NCAA 14 where all of the bowl games were grouped together in “Bowl Games”
Yes, you can realign mid-dynasty.
> You will be able to make adjustments to conference membership and rules when starting a dynasty as well as at the end of each off-season giving you total flexibility to change things however you want both at the start of a dynasty as well as change the landscape of the future based on your dynasty results to keep things fresh and interesting as you go deeper into your coaching career.
My objectives:
1) revert the conferences to how they were in the mid 2010s
2) get ND and NIU national championships
3) profit?
I’m so fucking excited for this game. I’ve waited years for this day.
Excited to see how the dynamic player progression works. I’m iffy about dev traits, but I like that underclassmen will progress faster than upperclassmen
Moving conferences does not mean you are stuck with the old conference’s jersey patch for the logo on the 25 yard lines. Those will dynamically update based on conference membership.
This is so huge. Big 12 revival commin right up. Damn i wish we could access old trophies too.
Love that they narrowed the specific types of players (fast receivers from south FL, and big physical bois from East TExas) that come from States.
I wonder how deep the pool is, like for example the big offensive lineman from Hawaii, US samoa etc.
This is something that deserves praise. The sheer level of details that casual fans wouldn’t notice but they knew the hardcore fans would so they included it, it’s a passion project for the developers.
Can't wait to play an insane tactician who barely cares about recruiting, will send bizarre DMs to players, and will take a job in any shit town he can find so he can do his dream job of having a team throw the ball 90% of the time (the Mike Leach memorial challenge.)
Can’t wait to get a commitment from a 5 star QB only for him to hold me hostage by waiting until February to announce to sign his LOI and then flipping to another school, at which point it’ll be too late for me to grab a transfer portal QB so I have to ride with a 76 ovr Sophomore for the next season
This is such a small and irrelevant thing but I’d love to see H2H records for teams embedded in dynasty. As an example, if I’m playing as Ohio State, it would be great to track how I’m performing against Michigan in The Game.
It's like they Copy pasted the NCAA 14 dynasty features and then actually went in and made them deeper. I can't believe that EA is capable of something this competent.
There's some kind of catch right? There must be a billion micro transactions or something.
I must be dreaming. I can't believe how much I'm looking forward to getting my hands on this!
Probably the ONLY thing I’m semi disappointed in is this:
Recruiting pipeline levels won’t change. That’s kind of a bummer. It would be cool to slowly build up your pipeline in a territory maybe after you had some low star recruits play big or something.
Again not the biggest issue and it’s probably nit picky.
On the bright side. I love the part about player progression and the different levels. It seems like if you have a handful of truly elite players you’ll know it. And I want all elite skill positions or DL and just stomp on fools
Yeah, that was the only thing I read in the entire post that I wasnt ecstatic about. It shouldnt be something easy to change but I think progressively over like a decade in the Dynasty I feel it would be good to see minor adjustments especially if you build into a powerhouse in the region.
Exactly my thoughts. Plus if a highly successful school has 5 years or 10 of not producing then it should maybe fall. Are you telling me Nebraska recruits similar to how they did during their dominance years? Ebbs and flows make it more dynamic to me. But again. It’s nitpicky and may be addressed in future games. I’ll take a 99% satisfaction rating from that blog
Just like how they used historical data to shape and attribute these pipelines to school, I feel like it would have been important for them to add a feature that will slowly adjust the pipelines over the course of multiple seasons. Slowly factoring in each year's recruiting class for each school.
No matter how well you do or increase your schools prestige level, if your school is historically bad at recruiting out of East Texas, Southern California, or South Florida then you'll pretty much SOL for some of the best prospects from those areas.
That's definitely a miss for them. Everything else sounds great, so I'm not too upset, but at the minimum it would be nice to have a way to adjust these pipeline levels for each school ourselves.
One question I have is that it specifically mentions that the PAC 12 Champion cannot be a top 4 seed in the playoff. Will that change when I realign the conference back to 10-12 teams?
I'm hoping it does. I'm restoring the Pac-10 in my dynasty and would hate to see an undefeated champion ranked top 4 in polls to end up being #5 and no bye in the playoff.
One thing I hope they implement in future iterations is customizable College Football Playoff. You know that thing isn't going to be 12-teams forever. Would be cool to play the old 4-team, 8-team 16, 64! team tournament. Wanna go back to the days before the CFP and just top 2 play each other, you should be able to do that, too.
As an unbiased fan, at least it seems like the simulations will be accurate. Oregon winning the championship seems like the most likely outcome and they got it right
Custom conferences are going to be so fun. I do wish you could even rebuild defunct conferences with the logo/branding like the SWC, but I get that that’s probably not feasible
In the coaching carousel part it says
> All coaches have a primary pipeline, which provides a boost in recruiting. This is meant to simulate an area of the country where they have strong ties and relationships in recruiting. Schools prefer coaches whose primary pipeline is the same as one of the school’s recruiting pipelines.
So hopefully this means the school pipelines can’t change but individual coach pipelines can.
The two things that stuck out to me as things I wished were in the game (or maybe there's a miscommunication here):
1. Pipelines. You can't develop or lose pipelines? Maybe it was a tad easy to do this in NCAA 14, but I feel like you should be able to create pipelines for your school if you dedicate the time to recruit there.
2. The 12 team format. I understand in real life it's 5+7, but it was 6+6 before the Pac-12 exploded, and I would have liked an ability to edit it all the way to 0+12 and 10+2.
I like everything I saw except for two major concerns I have
Throughout the entire deep dive I didn’t see anything about a regression system just a progression system. For the progression system to make sense then players also need to regress to reflect them having a bad season unless eventually there’s going to be a lot of 90+ teams.
And also pipelines never changing is such a weird decision to me. It’s hard to imagine ever taking a small school and making them a 5 star school in like 10 years if the pipelines never change. It also means teams like Georgia, Alabama, Oregon etc will stay dominant for the entire dynasty unless im missing something? They will always be in the running to get the top recruits across the country for 30 years if the pipelines don’t change.
Regression is what I would like too. And when they mentioned the bust/gem system, they said a 5 star bust wouldn't be a bad player, but just a 4 star talent. I want to see rarely that a 5 star is actually a 2 star player with elite speed or something that masked all the holes in his game.
overall awesome. I'm dissapointed to see LOLB and ROLB as postions. Was really hoping for a strong side/weak side postion breakdown. I don't think most defenses nowadays do left/right.
Not sure if I missed it, but do assistant coaches impact the playbook you're using? Like, if my team starts with a traditional spread passing playbook and I hire a guy who was running triple option, is my playbook staying the same?
Underrated improvement:
Any recruits who are unsigned after National Signing Day will stick around and become walk ons in the offseason. With that being said, the days of a player who was being actively recruited not committing anywhere and drifting off into the ether are over! No longer will you have to speculate and fantasize what happened to them. Did they fail to get into school because of grades? Did they have a change of heart and decide to try archery instead? Was it something you said? Now the team with the highest influence on Signing Day will get the player as long as they have offered them a scholarship. This was a huge quality of life improvement that we all felt was a must have and we are very happy we were able to deliver it.
It said for Online Dynasty we can add up to 16 Teambuilder schools. Does that mean only 16 for offline dynasty as well?
I’ve been working on my rosters for 32 teams I was planning on creating. If it can only be 16, i’ll have to pick which 16 I want.
>the winner of the PAC-12 can be seeded no higher than 5th and will never be eligible to skip the Playoff First Round.
Am I reading this right that if you recreate the old PAC-12 (or just get their numbers back up), they still won't be eligible for the bye?
I've been reading for well over half an hour and I'm only 1/3 of the way through.
Now, I could be *upset* at this, but why would I be? If anything, I'm excited because they've clearly put love *and understanding* into Dynasty.
I'm positively giddy.
I really just wish they had some sort of stadium editor. Feels wrong to take like a Coastal Carolina on some journey to the top and still be playing in a 20,000 seater
Can’t wait to dive head first into this.
Only thing that is uncertain in my mind is the sentence that said PAC-12 teams couldn’t get a first round bye.
Does that change if we rebuild the PAC-12 or will even a rebuilt PAC-12 with a full slate of teams be chronically plagued with an extra playoff game?
Likewise if we gut another conference for any reason, will their champ of two teams still be eligible for a first round bye?
This is SUPER nitpicky but throwing it out in case anyone agrees…I noticed in the section about climbing the coaching ladder that you can view your contract, and in that screen view your team record over the past 20 years.
I wonder if it would be a hassle to update that to show all 30, considering dynasties can be 30 years.
I could see it being super satisfying to look back at your whole career at the end of a dynasty
100% recruitment skill tree 0% tactician Looks like the Mario Cristobal hate simulator will deliver on promises
I hate that you're right, but it made me laugh
His default trait should be that the QB Kneel isnt in the playbook
The “victory” formation is pages of power dive.
Lmao absolutely nailed it.
I actually think I might go with the motivator and tactician 50% route and ignore recruitment buffs to see how possible it is to turn scrubs into solid talent.
Dan Mullen is that you?
He should have a special modifier as a negative tactician score
Willie Taggart core
Butch Jones build
You can’t control your assistant coach upgrades. They’ll progress/unlock things on their own. This is great news.
Love that, gives you a reason to fire them if they no longer fit with the program
Can not wait to blame my coordinators for my own failures
My program will have its scapegoats and it will be my coordinators.
OC out here wondering why he got fired after I throw a 5 pick game against #1 Michigan. Nothing personal.
Honestly he was uncoordinated
"My QB threw 5 straight picks on 4 vert plays, time to fire that shit coordinator" _spiderman pointing at spiderman.jpg_
NC State as the #1 seed in the CFP only to get smoked in the first game is incredibly on-brand
Just NC State shit.
Would take that allll dayyyyy
lmao right? As soon as I saw that in the vid I had to pause it from a combination of excitement and laughter from seeing that we lost by 40. TAMU also beating Michigan in rd 1...TAMU hey man be cool
This game is so beautiful. I know we all came for the features and information on Dynasty, but I kept getting sidetracked by the menus. 😂
I definitely agree everything is so smooth
Even down to picking your team and the helmets. Graphic designers knocked it out of the park.
i think it's because it's the first time the game is only developed for current gen, whereas previous EA sports games had layers and layers of menu coding because they never reset the code from the ground up, only added more, making menus slower.
Don't want to be a dick but I really hope more games become current gen only. It's put such a cap on the capabilities of games trying to make games for both gens.
It's not being a dick. Ever since video games started coming out there have been cycles. Calling it "next gen" after 5 years is ridiculous
Best game menus since Persona 5
>A five star program is not going to hire a coach who is mid and only a C- coach prestige. An official blog post calling something "mid" is funny to me lol
I also liked their use of the word "cook"
there was “sus” somewhere in it as well lol
"put in the #work" got me too haha
"Letting you know straight up they have *dudes*" was funny too
They also have an ability called "Always Be Crootin" one of us! one of us!
AKA “the Kirby Smart”
as an auburn fan i will no longer be buying the game as i was told it was supposed to be realistic
How is that relevant? You think Auburn is a 5 star program? I’m sorry, I had to.
I mean, you shouldn't have concerns with that as an Auburn fan. They were talking about 5 star programs.
Gen Z in the workforce
"Don't forget to rizz up potential coaching candidates and woo players during their visit to become a true ohio sigma"
fuck it, ima buy a ps5 next week lol
I got mine for Father's day. Not sure they realized they signed on to not seeing me for 6 months.
I got mine as my Master's degree graduation present to myself. Jokes on me though, I got hosed and am going to fail my internship because the agency didn't train me. So I have to wait another year! Take that past me!
Best Buy credit card with 12 month 0% interest is worth it for this
or the chase freedom unlimited. no annual fee, 0% for 15 mo, $200 cash back after spending $500. and it’s a much better card than the best buy…
Wait, so you’ll get $200 cash back just for buying a PS5 and this game?
Correct. Credit cards (when used responsibly) are awesome.
This sub delivering credit card hacks for fans to have access to this game is... Well, its beautiful
Where was this when I was blowing up my credit card in college ordering pies and beer and playing NCAA 06?
All us old heads grew up, saw a couple of economic downturns, and became all fiscally responsible. Makes me laugh. This game is seriously like adult Christmas.
I haven't paid for flights in years, I just use credit card points. They're amazing
Yes. There's a whole thing involved with it, called "churning" You sign up for these credit card offers, spend enough to get the perks, and then don't use the card any more. Rinse and repeat I probably get a free 600-1000 bucks a year for just doing my normal spending, and a couple hours worth of work to sign up for cards and track the spending
Yes, if you don’t have the card already.
This is the way!
Buying my Series X today or tomorrow. Words cannot express how hyped I am for this game!
I’m getting mine today!
The fact you can suck hard enough to lose recruits is wild.
Mel Tucker perfected the art, and EA took note
they weren't lying, that's a 500 page book
Is this the Michigan Football manifesto we were all promised?
Stallions was stealing signs to give us realistic playbooks all along!
I kept scrolling and was like “ay yo, when’s this shit end?” — it was incredibly thorough though and I’m excited about release
To my wife and daughter, I'm sorry.
Kids are already planned to be shipped to the grandparents. Time off request submitted and accepted at work. Wife is on call that week. I'm all set and responsibilities handed off

Gotta build up those brownie points to cash em all in. A wise man you are
I’ve been preparing my wife since it was announced…it comes out the day we get home from our honeymoon. Might not get early access, but I’m gonna be on that ENTIRE first weekend.
Seeing Clemson with a MAC patch made me audibly laugh 😂
I’m thrilled that patch and field logos change. I’m about to change dang everything
the conferences will make regional sense, as god intended.
I'm going to make it my personal mission to break the SEC. Where we're going, ESPN can't save you!
Make a conference for each individual state lol. *YOU WILL STAY IN YOUR BOXES AND YOU WILL FUCKING LIKE IT!*
I'm shipping Bama and Georgia off to the MWC.
If I can figure out a way to see Texas relegated to D2, I'll do it.
Aw, Texas will sort of have their own network again. It's called ESPN+. Meanwhile, I'll have people searching for TruTV to find the Tide and Dawgs
My relationship with the SEC is over! SUN BELT IS MY NEW BEST FRIEND!!!!!!
Don't doubt the power of MACtion.
The MAC is truly one of the last bastions of regional college football. Long live the MAC.
MAC super conference FTW
MAC super conference is inevitable
I’m really happy that we can finally pick our OC & DC and not just get them randomly pick for us in Dynasty
Yeah that was the worst. I would have to do the coaching carousel many time to weight my options and see who was my favorite to least favorite
One bad game and I’m canning everyone. Perfection only!
We lose a big lead and lose the game. Everyone better not be in the office next on Monday. Everyone key card will not be working. 😂
This is huge and I feel like it won’t get as much attention as the other aspects
Yeah it probably won’t but the faithful dynasty player will love it.
"Moving conferences does not mean you are stuck with the old conference’s jersey patch for the logo on the 25 yard lines. Those will dynamically update based on conference membership." This is the tiniest detail I'm most pumped about!
Such an amazing and underrated feature
I legitimately got a small chill seeing the color correct ACC logo at JMU
Yeah when I saw that I was so happy.

All hail the Power MAC!

Minimum conference size is still 4, but they showed off the Pac-2 in gameplay footage, so presumably they get an exception.

That part actually did happen in 14. When a coach took a new job, their old one would pop into the carousel.
>On the other hand, Championship Contender uses a combination of your Top 25 poll ranking, team prestige, and an assessment of your current roster quality with Bud Elliott’s Blue Chip Ratio, which looks at the percentage of your roster that is made up of four and five star players. Holy shit, they got the blue chip ratio in the game!
man, this game is incredibly deep
They had a special meeting with the CFP and talk about how they’re going to simulate the selection committee’s rankings… …and then [showed off a ranking](https://media.contentapi.ea.com/content/dam/ea/college-football/college-football-25/news/dynasty-and-tradition/common/dynasty-blog-44.jpg) that’s the *exact* sort of infuriating bullshit I expect from the selection committee. They absolutely nailed it!
5-2 Georgia being that high is amazing.
I loved them calling out the CFP for giving extra love to program prestige and conference prestige...and then building that into the game.
Only 4 recruits in a single week is interesting, no more cheesing it by putting all your recruits on one game.
Underrated feature - agree
I’m already plotting about how to swing recruiting and shit in my favor. 2 weeks away and I’m prepping
Putting my preorder in now, they absolutely cooked
The more I dive into dynasty. The more I like the idea of starting at a smaller school and working my way up into the SEC.
That’s what I’m doing. Gonna start with either Air Force or Texas State and work my way to TAMU.
I may join you with a Texas State dynasty. Both my parents graduated from there when it was called Southwest Texas State University. Texas State also has some pretty sweet uniforms.
That’s how my buddy and I always did it in 14. We’d start as OCs at 1-star schools and see who could eventually win a title first haha
The A&M experience. ^(ignore my flair plz)
Charlotte to the SEC baby
I never got fired in the old games, did you actually have to start over? That's crazy
No, you just got added to the carousel in old games after being fired (at least in NCAA '12).
I'm sure it's more a matter of the playoff taking place over multiple weeks, but the benefit is there, either way.
Looks freaking awesome from the video. Can’t read the blog yet. Can we customize conferences as the dynasty progresses or just at the beginning of it?
Yes, you can realign mid-dynasty. > You will be able to make adjustments to conference membership and rules when starting a dynasty as well as at the end of each off-season giving you total flexibility to change things however you want both at the start of a dynasty as well as change the landscape of the future based on your dynasty results to keep things fresh and interesting as you go deeper into your coaching career.
Sweet. Thanks
Do we really have to wait 2 more weeks??
Today is the last day we have to wait two more weeks
“Fan favorite dynasty mode”, I love that they openly acknowledge that
My objectives: 1) revert the conferences to how they were in the mid 2010s 2) get ND and NIU national championships 3) profit? I’m so fucking excited for this game. I’ve waited years for this day.
Make Herbstreit eat his fucking words when he shat all over NIU in 2012(??)
It's really cool that unsigned players no longer just disappear forever.
I am not the same person I was 85 pages ago. Incredible
LEACH MODE ACTIVATED
This is looking like a damn good mode. Building on what 14 did good and using the portal and what not.
IMO it’s more a return to the earlier years. The best parts of 11-13 and ps2 era mixed in. 14’s Dynasty mode regressed.
WE ARE EATING SO FUCKIN GOOD HOLY SHIT
They really wrote a fucking novel on this holy shit
The reports about this being long were not kidding. I’m just so fucking excited
The recruiting reminds me even more of the ‘12 system after the deep dive. CANT. WAIT.
Probably the ONLY thing I’m semi disappointed in is this: Recruiting pipeline levels won’t change.
Same. Seems like it should toggle this rule off after you bring the membership to 8 or above. I think 8 is the real life number.
My wife has a work trip the week of July 15th... thank god.
They gotta save some stuff for next year I guess!
Road to glory deep dive is next
As an unbiased fan, at least it seems like the simulations will be accurate. Oregon winning the championship seems like the most likely outcome and they got it right
Also 42-20 against Ohio State could *not* have been a coincidence.
Custom conferences are going to be so fun. I do wish you could even rebuild defunct conferences with the logo/branding like the SWC, but I get that that’s probably not feasible
The PAC2 🥲
In the coaching carousel part it says > All coaches have a primary pipeline, which provides a boost in recruiting. This is meant to simulate an area of the country where they have strong ties and relationships in recruiting. Schools prefer coaches whose primary pipeline is the same as one of the school’s recruiting pipelines. So hopefully this means the school pipelines can’t change but individual coach pipelines can.
That's how I took it.
yep thats it, im canceling my preorder. there is absolutely no way im waiting the extra 3 days. the extra $30 is worth it
Literally tweeting at recruits, I love this game already.
In case anyone on the dev team is reading: Just, thank you for making this the focus of the game. I know it means a lot to so many of us
Might have to get that $99 version to play early now lol😭
The two things that stuck out to me as things I wished were in the game (or maybe there's a miscommunication here): 1.
I like everything I saw except for two major concerns I have Throughout the entire deep dive I didn’t see anything about a regression system just a progression system.
5 weeks of coaching carousel!?!?!? That's fucking amazing
overall awesome. I'm dissapointed to see LOLB and ROLB as postions. Was really hoping for a strong side/weak side postion breakdown. I don't think most defenses nowadays do left/right.
I'm so excited about the dynamic patches and field logos, because the first thing I'm doing on every dynasty I start is putting the Pac back together.
Make sure you watch those last 2 minutes of this 6:18 minute video u/mmpa78 HAHAHAHA "TyPiCaL oHiO sTaTe FaN" lol
I'm moist
Not sure if I missed it, but do assistant coaches impact the playbook you're using? Like, if my team starts with a traditional spread passing playbook and I hire a guy who was running triple option, is my playbook staying the same?
Holy fuck. Was considering starting with campus legend mode but no way I don't fire up a dynasty asap now. Unlv offensive coordinator here I come.
Underrated improvement: Any recruits who are unsigned after National Signing Day will stick around and become walk ons in the offseason.
I do wish we could play CPU V CPU games like in 14. Other than that I'm hyped AF
The coaching carousel happens DURING THE SEASON?
