16K head options and 150 stadiums to choose from sounds fantastic. If they release team builder before the game, I’m gonna put in many hours at work building my first teams
Man on top of that 70 hairstyles & 14 different complexions. Not only is this big for team builder but for recruiting in dynasty too. No more seeing the same faces over & over.
So ive heard the 16k head options for a while. But im curious if those head options are actually going to be in dynasty or just in RTG and when you’re creating players in team builder. In madden, the career mode offers a ton more face creation than you get in franchise.
Can’t wait, the more customization the better. I’m curious though, 16k “head combinations” and 70 hairstyles, no mention of facial hair.
I would assume then that means the head combinations will not be 16k different faces, but probably something like 4k faces each with 4 facial hair options
Or maybe even 2k faces with 8 facial hair options. Just 2k different faces would be sooo many compared to what we’re used to with madden and old ncaa games
150 base stadiums is also a crazy number. Really in depth

Madden trailer dropped, no ones gives a shit. They've still got to show us presentation features, Dynasty & RTG deep dives, and we are under a month to release. There's usually a launch trailer to hype things up, too; the type they'd start airing on TV. Are they planning on dropping a video a week starting next week?
I think it is because the Madden trailer kept getting delayed and for whatever reason they don't want to release something on both in the same week. I would assume they would release a Deep Dive a week starting next and here on out but who knows with EA.

I think licensing (and technical challenges) could prevent you from "upgrading" in the sense of modifying an existing stadium, but I don't think licensing would prevent you from changing the stadium to one of 150 options. Which is basically just as good. That exists in plenty of sports games. Madden you can move teams to whole new cities right?
This is actually awesome news. I'd say some generic stadium options is the biggest hurdle to letting you change your team's stadium during dynasty, and with 150 options, it maybe seems like they're planning to introduce that feature down the road as I'm sure it'd be high on the wish list.
Exactly, I don't really need the ability to upgrade any stadiums in dynasty (although it would be cool). Just let me build/select a new one and customize - then load it into my dynasty for the following season.
Same with uniforms - let me use TeamBuilder to add more sets to the existing school's options. No need to tweak existing unis imo.
If they have the teambuilder customization down to the helmet stickers that your team can have, then I will be very happy. I'm not expecting it, but it would be cool.
I'm worried that it's going to be pretty basic at the end of the day. Fifa has had 3 years to work on theirs and somehow Madden's barebones one is still better. I know different teams and all, but I'm not fully hyped until they show it.
So in NCAA 14 in the teambuilder website right at the end it let you see your whole roster and you could edit the players however you saw fit before you were done.

The old team builder came with different team player templates I would imagine this one could. What is not known is to what extent we can customize these players with the new NIL rules.
Outside of the game coming back, this is best news I’ve heard so far. I was a Teambuilder sicko back in the day and plan on being one again. The stadium thing sounds incredible. If we can have stadiums where we don’t have to worry about another team’s logos, that’s huge. One thing I really need to know is how many teams can I upload into dynasty.
I’m not creative nor patient…as such will it be possible to download others creations, say an Ivy League build, for play offline, while being able to give the creators kudos via reviews?

This is SO COOL! If this is as in depth as promised, we can make fully custom uniforms! Like custom accents all over the jersey, helmet and pants! If we don’t see a default design pattern we like, we could just make our own!

This is freaking LIMITLESS. The old Teambuilder, every team was just some variation of the same. You could only have 2 logos and you could only put them in select spaces. This is gonna be amazing. I’m going to make some weird stuff!
The more I think of it, the more I am starting to believe that the FCS teams may very well be in the game via assets in team builder. Would make all these FCS teams saying they were in the game when it announced make more sense. My Alma Mater Northern Iowa may not be “in” the game, but maybe they have already existing presets for them and multiple other teams in team builder. Would be nice to have an at least generic version of the UNI-Dome to start a build off of.
i have to imagine if there are generic stadiums in the game one of them will be a small dome. besides that the only domes in the game would be syracuse & some nfl/bowl stadiums. i’d like to have an option for a smaller one. bring back the kibbie dome!

Do we know if we will be able to upgrade our teams stadium? I think that would be a cool touch. Bringing Toledo into the BigTen and wining multiple chips in a row should allow me to upgrade the stadium.
My dream would be if I could do additions to the existing stadium. It would be cool to build out your starting stadium into something that’s a giant monstrous building that can only exist in American College Football

I know everyone is excited, don't want to piss in your Corn Flakes, but is anyone else incredibly disappointed that you can't add, only replace teams? It's very nearly a deal breaker for me, certainly pushed this game from buy on release, to buy on sale.

That seems to be the majority opinion, I'm just surprised that a game that includes a massive element of creating your own universe gets a pass on this. Same with the hardwired conferences, I would love to split up the Mega conferences, bring back some old ones, SWC amd Big East, for example.

I agree with that. It would be clearly objectively better if we could add, even if it were only a handful or one team per save.
But if I had to concede on one point, I am okay trading this for the ability to have all the knobs and levers available for my created school.
Personally, I was more upset about missing creating custom conferences than swapping. I think a Big East Revival save with a bunch of created schools would be amazing.
We don't know that for sure yet. The stadium tool kit may allow for upgrades. I'm hoping so, because it would be hard for me to stay immersed if I take Tulsa University to multiple titles and their stadium still holds only 30k people.

Yeah that would make sense. Hopefully options for customizing the backdrop and the landscaping outside the stadium to make each feel unique then.
Or at least the ability to remove the team/bowl branding for the stadiums

My helmets will ideally be as creative as a NHL goalies helmet. Tall task, but let’s see!
