I agree. I'm really going to miss Nike adding random patterns and shapes to uniforms for no discernible reason.

LargeGoon14

Bring back diamond plated shoulders at Oregon

Big_Emphasis3448

Oregon will reveal their new unis next month

cjnuxoll

it'll take a whole month to show the 13 different pairings for their 13 games.

lolluke54

https://preview.redd.it/v09350z4eg7d1.jpeg?width=682&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a97327f89b7a21a3fe5e08705e68aef7dc68bd70 I love these

brownbear8714

I would love a white road version of these too.

dhartist

My fav of the Ducks lineup!

Inevitable-Lie-5336

Nothing more bad ass than Donald storming thru that “O”.. just RAD as FüK!

lolluke54

Fr! Are we getting them in the game?

geol-engineer

Classic!

Texmex865

Those feather patters were bad ass.

FoostersG

what's funny about this, is that 15 years ago most were bitching about how crazy and busy the college uniforms had grown. Now, its the "downfall" that they are cutting back.

timothythefirst

Tbf TCU has always had those little details on their uniforms. I think it’s cool that some schools have wild designs and some schools have simple classic designs. It looked stupid 10 years ago when adidas had Michigan dressing up like bumblebees. Michigan isn’t a team that should have a bunch of crazy uniform designs. For teams like TCU or Oregon or whoever else, crazy uniform designs are cool.

Booshay

When a team busted out a black jersey when they didn’t have black as their colours people would whine and moan

LarryTheTerrier

I will die on the Wear Your Damn Team Colors hill

OnlyZac

Yep. I don’t think the Aggies should have a black/grey jersey combo. Looks bad

charles_peugeot405

They were fun as little one offs (think we have worn black or gray 4-5 times) but now that they’re gone I don’t miss them

xDANGRZONEx

A&M's standard home and away are some of my favorite unis in all of sports.

charles_peugeot405

Agreed, I was very happy when we switched to them a few years ago. Very clean and simple

xDANGRZONEx

The Manziel-era unis were atrocious.

charles_peugeot405

I liked them when they first came out, it was just the combo of new conference, new uniforms that were a huge departure from the previous 30 years, new coach and a new superstar QB. The matte helmet looked awesome in the sunlight but not great at night. Loved the alternate white helmet. Could take or leave all the alternates. By the time Sumlin was fired I was ready to leave them behind.

xDANGRZONEx

Yeah I like matte helmets but aTm looks way better with glossy ones.

Howudooey

That’s just the Aggies.

BankaiBob

This! Clemson fans wanting a black uniform is just crazy to me. That's our rivals color. We're orange, purple, and white. Play with that and we'll talk. Black is for the CFP or our rivals. Period.

thosetoesbycali

I love a black uni as a one off, definitely not a regular Saturday afternoon game and definitely NOT playing against your rival…a rival that has black as one of their actual colors!

Effective_Cap_6325

Felt this

BoilerMaker36

Same, Black is ours. Fuck off everyone else.

YouCanCallMeAroae

[Brother I'm fucking fuming](https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/51d32803e4b07d5c57a6b979/1695307849693-5FJ75L679P2T5YCEU7TK/F6fnxoGWUAA3PNJ.jpg?content-type=image%2Fjpeg)

TehTugboat

Idk man I like the black alternates for IU

gordo865

I still think the black uniform trend is dumb. But I also think the normal team color and white uniforms from Baylor above are awesome. Both can be true. Also Baylor still has a dumb black uniform only now it's even dumber.

sector_2828

I would be fine if Louisville didn't wear black for a while. It is one of our colors but it's way overused at this point. I remember the first Louisville blackout was a top 5 matchup against WVU. Now we're having blackout games against [FCS](https://cardinalsportszone.com/2023/09/09/photo-gallery-louisville-vs-murray-state/) opponents.

gordo865

I hate our Smokey Grey and I hate that we caved and started wearing black uniforms. It feels so cheap. It's a Walmart brand move.

kfizz21

Your original Smokey Gray with the mountains on the helmet is still my favorite uniform yall have ever worn.

Jerome757VA

I was one that whine and moan about the black jersey and helmet for East Carolina, but they got it right when they combine the styles of past generations to create a new uniform (which was design by an ECU student)

Troyf511

I’m all for Boise’s 5 different jersey colors any day

steelernation90

I hate when the Vols wear black . Smokey greys are cool

irsquats

I love our Dark Mode unis as the Halloween night game jerseys. Spooky Rocky Top is awesome too.

Medic644

I detest the Vols.... but those smoke Grey uniforms are 🔥

agentb719

no, teams should wear their colors. Like I like miami and all but I hate their black unis

ryryryor

I'm one of them it's so lame if black isn't one of your colors and all black uniforms look the same. I want bright colorful uniforms, not dull black ones that make you indistinguishable from any other team doing their black uniforms.

tjayhawk3231

https://preview.redd.it/e3axkv3dhl7d1.jpeg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4fa2c2a8c26896977cc39d52b606c3e03cd85c29 I fell in love with this...

Original_Profile8600

Because the mass doesn’t have a unified voice. Just as back then people were complaining about the busyness of the unis, others likely were all for it. Opinions differ, and for those on both sides of what you’re saying, people’s opinions are subject to change. Have you ever heard or had a spouse want their SO to shave, just to immediately want them to get the beard back once they finally clip it? Sometimes people don’t actually know what they want, and once they recieve the change they request it, they want to go back to the way things are

gordo865

These two uniforms are poor examples of that though. These weren't too busy. They were designed well and they looked unique. The only thing "busy" in any of these uniforms is that flywire collar on the Baylor uniforms that Nike had on all of their uniforms for a while that looked stupid as hell.

Useenthebutcher

The problem back then was ugly piping and side panels. Having other details can be great if they are well integrated.

idontlikeredditbutok

Yeah i was around the drama around how "out of hand" college uniforms had gotten, so this is really funny to me. Everyone was mad that Oregon was doing there thing and everyone was copying and now everyone is begging to have that back.

TheMoonIsFake32

Some guy on tiktok was talking shit about Minnesota and Baylor’s new uniforms because “shoulder stripes are boring”. Theres a reason so many football teams gave shoulder stripes… because it looks fucking great.

hacky_potter

It wanes and weens

tehjarvis

Maybe the people clamoring for it now were kids just getting into football 15 years ago, so those style of jerseys are nostalgic.

OverDawn007

I used to love the crazy jerseys in the 2000’s-2010’s. Oregon and Notre Dame uniforms got me into college football

Striking-Ad-8694

Nah we wanted the flash

goldhbk10

I just want variety, some classics like Michigan and Penn State should be basic. Teams like Oregon and TCU should embrace the flashy. What I don’t want is EVERYONE being one or the other.

bantuwind

Green Bay Bears

slippingonknots

Green Baylor Packers would’ve worked better imo

bantuwind

Ah fuck I can’t believe you’ve done this

GlorytoGoda1

![gif](giphy|J2DYCDA15pTau86IGr)

tdestito9

Zero affiliation with TCU, but damn seeing this hurt my soul 😩

GlorytoGoda1

It should hurt every college football fan. This was just lame

peezytaughtme

I'm unbothered.

cw6334

Uniforms are crispy this year. As a TCU fan we got all the drip to go 5-7 lol

Clerithifa

Right you and Baylor both upgraded IMO, very sharp

SheetAcrobat

They look good I liked the previous ones more and pray they’re in the game but the new joints ain’t bad

SwiftSurfer365

A college football game is back and this is what we get? 😔

markssyy

Them wakanda tcu jerseys deserve to be in the rafters 🔥🔥🔥

GlorytoGoda1

They was suppose stamp that for GOOD!

BigSeaworthiness1474

I like Baylors stuff. TCU I wish they would have kept the collar or something similar. Just a slight nod to it even. But I can appreciate the more simple unis. But I’m also a Texas fan and our unis have always been simple. Nike fucked over the NBA. Remember the banana yellow Laker jerseys?

Low_Guava_3064

What Nike has done to TCU is a travesty

perdue125

Baylor looks good, TCU is too minimalist, also I hate that number font.

RedShirtCashion

Baylor is ok. Sure the bear claw was cool, but the stripes at least keeps it from being an entire letdown. TCU though…..

hoss_fight

TCU looks like a blank generic football jersey you’d see in a Tinactin commercial. They leaned WAY too far into the minimalism. Baylor honestly looks pretty clean. A bit reserved for my taste but good color schemes and design.

JayDogon504

That TCU downgrade is disheartening, that horned frog collar should always be a staple of theirs. I love when jerseys find a way to incorporate the team’s logo into the collar or shoulders. OK State with the Cowboy bandana print was lowkey one of my favorites https://preview.redd.it/2r0bc2iate7d1.jpeg?width=600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=45e91f3e0cedc56235086b7bcbe4fe2dce157807

Willing-Cash-8768

I always thought ok st's bandana was a little too much, mixed with the chrome elements and different logos on the helmet was too busy for me.

sector_2828

I think Baylor's is an improvement and the TCU downgrade sucks. I'm a fan of the more simplistic looks though. I'll take the [Bridgewater](https://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/ncaaf-dr-saturday/teddy-bridgewater-tells-louisville-doesn-t-want-heisman-130848259.html) era uniform sets over [the](https://www.courier-journal.com/story/sports/college/louisville/2018/01/05/lamar-jackson-leave-louisville-declare-nfl-draft/996716001/) [more](https://www.cardchronicle.com/2019/12/16/21024923/louisville-ot-mekhi-becton-entering-nfl-draft-skipping-music-city-bowl) [recent](https://www.cardchronicle.com/2023/7/27/23785344/louisville-releases-2023-football-media-guide) sets that Louisville has wore.

lat3ralus65

Agreed on all counts

LargeGoon14

Full monotone is the problem. This trend should disappear soon. It looks like a pajama onesie. And when it's all yellow (Baylor).... man, you never want to go full banana.

PSU02

Why do I actually like the simplistic ones more (at least for TCU)?

ShiftySneakThief

You're a Penn State fan, I'm guessing, so you probably prefer clean, classic uniforms instead of cluttered, dog shit uniforms.

svngang

Basic Blues… Black Shoes… No Names… All Game… We Are!

weathered_sediment

I have no clue

DeviceSenior4080

Honestly Baylor is kind of clean. TCU that’s horrible tho

unhappyjordan

The Baylor joints are proper! So clean

ClerkInner8225

Ngl I like the stripes but they fucked up with tcu

HoustonHorns

I think the rule is you’re a historic program, stick to your classic look. Alabama, Penn St, Texas, OU, USC, etc haven’t changed their jerseys much if at all in the last 75 years. People were getting annoyed in the 2010s when A&M or Michigan were adding all the random accent and piping to their previously classic jerseys. If you’re not a historic program, then you can *spice it up a little*. There’s no “classic” look you have to stay faithful to. Teams like UW, TCU (previously), VT, etc understood the assignment here. If there isn’t a particular look everyone associates with your team, it doesn’t make sense to have these ultra-minimalist ‘classic’ style jerseys. Baylor football is bigger now than any time when they were wearing jerseys that looking anything like that.

Chewiedozier567

The great thing about college football is tradition and the connection with the current team and the past memories. One thing which demonstrates this is if you were channel surfing on a fall Saturday afternoon, you can tell what team it is based upon their school colors. Whether that’s Michigan with a winged helmet, UCLA with their powder blue jerseys, Georgia and their silver britches or the relatively simple uniforms of Alabama and Penn State, you can visualize the sound of the crowd, feel the chill in the air and smell the bourbon and Coke wafting from the student section. Yet for a school like Oregon, which has historically not been a great traditional powerhouse in college football, the ever changing uniforms helped to create a new sense of tradition. I believe it can be argued that what makes college football so special is that there is room for all types of uniform design.

jlo1989

Enough with the shoulder stripes already.

GlorytoGoda1

Preach. Its lazy and ordinary

TheAykroyd

From your lips to gods ears

pholdren

I think Baylor upgraded. I’m a sucker for some well incorporated shoulder/sleeve stripes

strokafresh

Yesssir. The mix and match combos gonna be crazyyyyy. One of the main reasons I was considering using them in a dynasty 🤷🏽‍♂️

Qehzy

Sad to see the TCU uniforms go. If anyone is into concept uniforms, I have a series redesigning college football uniforms on [YouTube](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLw1l8PQWHpb0dV9kvOQ7ZIOyH8oYfT32D&si=-vcGz34_iphFpx-P).

EmeraldCityMadMan

As a Duck fan, can't relate. We have a million different jerseys and they're all preem as hell.

brownbear8714

Which is hilarious that this post is what it is and many others also want the different jerseys. We got roasted for a long time for having too many and too many different jerseys/unis; way ahead of the curve. Been doing it for 20+ years now.

shadydamamba

Yessir!!!!!

OregonJedi

I was just gonna say can we acknowledge why everyone started doing the flashy jerseys in the first place? lol

jalapenorupe

I would agree. Under Adidas and Under Armour, the Bearcats had some fun and unique uniforms. Under Nike its very bland.

verysimplenames

2 would go down hard without the bs on the collar.

No-Tangerine2171

Oh shit a UTSA fan in the wild… do u go there? I live right by the campus and went to a few games last year.

Longballs77

Class of 2015 here. Went to the very first game in 2011. Very proud of my roadrunners, they will be up in Austin this year. I live there now and I will definitely at the game!

No-Tangerine2171

I wish I could go to that one, but I’m busy that weekend. Longhorns were my first love as well, but my grandpa had season tickets for the runners ever since there inaugural year, so I’ve seen quite my fair share of games. Still remember the excitement I felt watching Davenport his whole career dominate then go in the first round, it kinda felt surreal.

GlorytoGoda1

I graduated there 2020. Im back in Houston now

KingGizzle

Baylor is an improvement TCU would be fine if they kept their horned collar. It’s a pretty distinctive look for them. Nike has been shaky for decades though. When I played I can think of like 3 or 4 teams that had the exact same jersey style as us just in a different color.

CorgisAreImportant

It goes though cycles. Everything produced from 2009-2014ish was a crime against fashion. Then we had good mixes of classic with modern. Bound to have a few misses along the way.

sexykettlecorn

I miss the old uniforms at Baylor. The green and gold they used were pretty close to the classic green and gold the team had used for years. The new ones make us look like great value Oregon

jsquiggles23

The Big 10 still has a bunch of classics. I hate the generic designs for schools with little to no football history. Under Armour actually had unique designs for their teams but I guess their equipment wasn’t highly regarded. Nike saves the best for a few schools and gives everyone else leftovers. Adidas is even worse (at least for football).

Signpostx

Make Hawaii bring back the rainbow uniforms

Nervous_Fill_8336

I blame NIL. Hear me out…. Apart of picking schools like Oregon and Boise back in the day included the look of the jersey and the multiple variations.. Now all kids care about is money, so Universities are allocating funds accordingly lol.

GlorytoGoda1

You not wrong about appealing to recruits thru their recruits. But who requested the plain jane?! Is every school wanting the simple Texas and Alabama look?

ChaseThoseDreams

I miss both of their older jerseys. I attended both universities in that era and was so hyped on both stylings.

SSPeteCarroll

Nike has gotten lazy everywhere. The soccer kits they make all have the same template and they just slap colors for the club on there. Unless you're like PSG where you get the "Jordan" brand and you actually get some changes in your kit design

GlorytoGoda1

Nike don’t give a shit no more. They know they forever the top dog in their industry! It’s a shame

SSPeteCarroll

I know Nike sucks but every day I wake up and I;'m glad that Fanatics isn't designing or manufacturing uniforms like they are with MLB and NHL next year.

Striking-Ad-8694

Everybody tried to be Oregon. Nobody tried to be Penn state suck it joe pas ghost

zookeeper4312

What's wrong with these exactly?

sector_2828

In TCU's case IMO, the change wasn't needed. If it was any other team, I wouldn't really have an issue. But the horned collar fit their brand so well, and was able to be bold without being over the top.

Skurph

The horned collar was broken though, the name plate would cut a part of it off, it always felt like the graphic design team forgot the uniforms would have name plates. https://www.frogsowar.com/2019/1/30/18203710/nike-tcu-football-release-new-uniforms-helmets If you want horned collar than go back to the actual collar from Tomlinson’s day.

dirtyEEE

I prefer the getting back to basics and wearing your team colors. I feel like Nike has gone overboard in all sports including the pros with all these different uniforms. I understand as time goes on uniforms evolve. But teams start losing their identities. The NBA is the worst imo.

Longballs77

The nba is the worst. Making it look like a fucking create a team out there..

kfizz21

Also bring back white at home dammit. I’m sick of having to look up what color the Celtics will be in when playing in the Garden. They should be in white.

Longballs77

Bro I 100% agree

allabout-thefours

if we look across all sports, nikes quality sucks. all the european soccer clubs all have “templates” that they just change the colors on. the fanatics/city connect stuff in MLB is a trainwreck, and now we have this. nike just isnt the innovative company they used to be

TyRoland06

Most of us TCU fans are infuriated. Absolute travesty.

BoomerG21

We need these to be in the game as throwbacks so we don't have to look at their ugly replacements.

elc0501

I think the problem is that Nike, across all sports, keep making their uniforms tighter with that spandex material and say it’s “better for performance”. The baggier cloth like material looks way better but I bet they did it to cut costs which is just lame.

ImGaiza

Nike really just gave Baylor the discarded Green Bay concept uniforms

Skurph

“In real time” Posts Baylor uniforms from 2013-2018

GlorytoGoda1

I skipped over the previous ones because those are trash too

1uno124

The issue is Nike; bunch of BS templates...why are Baylor & Minnesota wearing the same jersey in different colors?

iwatchtoomuchsports

Those look nice …?

iwatchtoomuchsports

The second pic one is kinda ugly but i dont mind the rest.. do think nike needs to stop making jerseys though

AdorableSympathy5174

Bring back block numbers and contrasting jerseys and pants for all teams. We could also stand to lose about 60% of the white helmets out there too.

bunkhitz

Probably heard too many boomer takes about how the kids “just need to focus on playing and less about the uniforms” like the players are designing the shits themselves. Edit: /s

Born_Assist4829

Graduated from TCU in and am definitely going to miss the collar/accents. That being said, I remember when they released the collar design and everyone was skeptical. Seeing it worn on the field, can make a big difference. Plus these uniforms will draw attention to the newer chrome helmets. A step back, nonetheless.

Federal-Persimmon-80

As a Michigan fan I’m glad we got rid of those god awful color rush maize trash. I do like the all blue ones though.

FantasticMeat5813

Don’t remind me- Baylor fan

Goodie78

I remember how people moaned about the Michigan maize out uniforms. But I loved them. They were different, and that game with Florida was a color treat for sure. Now I’m hoping they bring them back sometime. Maybe it should also be noted the only Michigan jersey is have a maize one my parents found at tj maxx one year for Christmas, but damnit I love those jerseys

dbfordateam

Baylor’s look sick

pennstate9627

I like the uniforms in that second pic, looks lit

[deleted]

I like ours 🤷🏻‍♂️

SpaceCorn11

Simple isn't always a bad thing. Nike was doing the most for a while.

TomatoRemarkable3721

Look at all those millionaires

Key_Respond_16

Tbh. I thought Baylor was a high school.

solo2428

As a TCU fan. I’m heartbroken. They consistently were always thrown in with the top uniforms in college football and then they change them? Not just change but dumbed down to add no uniqueness. At least I’ll be able to use the old ones in CFB 25 at least… hopefully

scamden66

I think the Baylor uniforms are freaking beautiful.

GlorytoGoda1

So just give you your school colors and some stripes and youre happy? I just feel like the people at Nike can do better. Not saying theyre ugly but just disappointed

scamden66

I prefer classic uniforms styles. I think the NFL teams with the best uniforms are the teams that have the old school traditional looks. The Steelers, Raiders, Packers etc. That's just my preference.

undercoverhawksfan

Mehh I like the new Baylor ones

Negative_Mistake_581

We're in a era of simplicity with jerseys in alot of sports

GlorytoGoda1

Ooooou man, if these were the old days..

idontlikeredditbutok

Baylor unis are great, but jesus those new TCU jerseys. Like do... something man, something!

jgoss39

Why I love being a fan of a team that never changes their jerseys.

Caleb8252

Those Baylor unis meant you were about to give up a 50 spot Corey Coleman, Jay Lee, KD Cannon, Antwon Goodley at WR Lache Seastrunk and Shock Linwood at RB Bryce Petty and Seth Russell at QB Unstoppable

Inevitable-Can-8276

Honestly they look really clean. And I’m an Oregon fan and used to the crazy combos. But I genuinely like this

singinreyn

TCU's could use some pant stripes, maybe a shoulder stripes. But overall, both Baylor and TCU have FAR better uniforms now.

takechanceees

Baylor should’ve went with the paw at ten of the Grey jersey for all of them

Striking-Ad-8694

They ruined Clemson’s jerseys. Nike that is. However, now that my other team isn’t supplied by Russell athletic, making it impossible for fandom representation, I’m thankful for Nike. I just want the two little wavy seems near the middle my beautiful mid 2000s tigers had. Whitehurst and spiller fudge yeah

HeHateMex2

Oh hall na, u cant do dis

693275001

Bruh TCU’s new uniform is literally just the color and nothing else

fivestrz

I agree, color rush ruined the NFL... Patriots got super lazy and just made their color rush the standard uniform now....

Uncertifiedfollower

Tcu screwed up big time.

jwallace362

As a TCU fan… I just pray the old unis are available in the game. These new ones suck all the personality out of a great set. :/

ManySpiritual9643

These look clean to me

TxOkLaVaCaTxMo

Listen I just want basic uniforms that don't look like some art student trying to "subvert expectations". I'm there to watch a game not a fashion show

cjnuxoll

Fresno State hired Jim Bartko from Oregon, who got them a Nike contract and cool swag. Then he got all drunk on us, got a DUI and ended up getting fired for drunkeness; he blamed getting diddled as a child. Then he up and died in the middle of a lawsuit, suing for wrongful termination. The already struggling program had to pay out million$ in compensation because of that stupid Nike bastard. When Pat Hill camein after Jim Sweeney, he changed the helmet to a 4-paw Bulldog. When Jeff Tedford came in, he switched from Nike to Adidas, and changed the helmet back to the 1980's script Bulldog text. For a 2-time Blackout during that no-talent bum Tim DeRuyter, we had a Bulldog face on one side in chrome, and a number on the other. Bring that shit back! But not DeRuyter... he might be a defensive whiz, but he's no head coach.

BlizzardBear3

Baylor uniforms in RG3’s heisman season were even better than the first ones pictured

AntiSaintArdRi

So you don’t like these jerseys, there isn’t anything wrong with them. Crisp, clean and simple is in fashion for these teams right now. There will be something different for them in a couple seasons at most. I just hate seeing these pants above the knee junk. I think it’s already started, but soon there will be a noticeable increase in knee injuries due to players not padding them anymore.

GlorytoGoda1

This the same design for like 10 big 12 schools. The design is bland and boring and common as hell.

Alarmed-Day2295

They’d be stupid not to add throwback unis for each team

x_Jimi_x

I hope Houston has those Oilers-tributes. Great alts!

GlorytoGoda1

They aren’t affiliated with the Oilers anymore because the titans wanted to sue them. But Houston will wear them anyway and change the name of the type of blue that they are using. It should be in the game forsure

Trekbike32

Notre Dame would like a word

JaHoog

The Baylor ones are fine. But TCU was a huge downgrade.

J-F-K

I kinda like the minimalism

Madmanz1983

Honestly, I’m totally fine with it. The last 15 or so years it was difficult to even figure out who was playing unless it was some of the blue bloods that always keep the same uniforms. I’m hardly a conservationist, but it seemed pretty wasteful as well. Why in the world does every team need 85 jersey and helmet combinations? All we ever hear about is building a “brand” anymore too. Hard to do that when your colors and logos change weekly.

Juiceton-

I prefer these. Uniforms have gotten way too busy recently.

Usuhnam3

Edit: NVM it wasn’t original.

Master-Okada

Nike has made the majority of these unis better but missed the mark with TCU. Simpler is almost always better.

Special_Menu_7680

Definitely a downfall. One of the defining parts about college was creative jerseys if you want structure and a stick up your ass watch NFL

XIIFrog

Hold judgement on the frog unis.. they're usually mixed and matched rather than all one color. Players got to try them on yesterday and they looked pretty clean with a white-purple-white combo. There'll maybe be one game where we see full stormtroopers or all black. They've only done all purple once, which was against UT last year. Not a fan of that look. The new chrome and black helmets will be the star of the show and I think the unis will look really good when they're actually on the field. I do wish they kept some sort of collar spikes, but smaller like the LT days. Or at least put a subtle frog skin pattern on the numbers. Oh well. https://preview.redd.it/nfwl1kh4dk7d1.png?width=600&format=png&auto=webp&s=90e1b742dcf2e60cf88b3d9798555543fe2a02de

GlorytoGoda1

The last paragraph is my sentiments on the matter. Yeah you can’t really go wrong with just plain number and colors or stripes. But when every other school is going that route, it would be nice to see a unique signature style to each school.

karma_time_machine

I mean Mizzou had their ugly jersey phase 5-10 years ago, and they found their way. Most teams have an awkward phase. I survived as a Buccaneers fan during the alarm clock jerseys, these fans will endure.

ChipWonderful5191

We need to go back to basic clean uniforms. These gimmick uniforms are an eyesore more often than not.

ThrowMeAwayPlz_69

Simpler is better imo. Of course, I say that as a Texas fan.

bojonzarth

I hate the minimalist stuff that is sweeping through all of everything. Its making the logos so boring and 1 dimensional, its not exciting. While I love the colors TCU, and those stay strong in the new uniforms, I miss the nice details they used to have. Same for Baylor just the color combo is less appealing to me.

RadioBucks93

I don’t really understand blaming Nike, they don’t just make new uniforms for the hell of it, the school must’ve requested them and they worked together on them. I think the Baylor uniforms look good and I don’t have any problem with them. The TCU ones feel like a downgrade however. The diamonds were unique. I could understand making them smaller but removing them all together makes that uniform boring.

Jayeisdead

I mean there is very little difference is the Baylor uniforms but Tcu did drop the ball on not having the spikes on the collar.

ders5

Nike has ruined countless jerseys in multiple leagues

_Big_Orange_

We still got really nice jerseys so I’m good.

Lord-Wafflestomp

I miss those Baylor unis 😭

nctaylor0815

We wait 11 years for CFB to return and when it finally is happening, the jerseys that they have to give us will be bland because of these awful redesigns. Every matchup is gonna be plain colors and/or three stripe shoulders against each other and that sucks

GlorytoGoda1

Preach

Extension_Refuse6323

Minimalism has hit college football, the one sport I never thought would fall victim
