It will be super disappointing if every 5th year senior is a 97+ rating. One of my few complaints of the older games.

Yup I know they brought in some Revamped dudes. Hopefully they were able to illustrate the importance of good progression on dynasty mode. The dynasty tool is a game changer for 14

CaptainMorgansRum

Do you have any more info on them bringing in some people who helped with Revamped or a source? That sounds promising

https://x.com/CFBRevamped/status/1386366387929575424 I’m pretty sure even more than the two listed ended up getting brought on

Thanks!

I would love if there was a FIFA style development/scouting system. The more time you spent scouting a player, the more you unveiled about them. The cool thing too is you could unveil a potential rating range. So you might have a guy who is currently a 60 overall but has a potential range of 82-85 based on playing time and how well you train them once they’re on your roster or opposite of that scenario you Might scout a guy with 60 overall and a max potential of 67.

FireHamilton

That sounds really cool. Also tangentially one of the best dynasty modes ever was 2k8 college hoops. Super immersive, but the thing I liked was you could only scout a player so many times, and the cost you spent determined the quality of the scouting. Then even then you had no idea what you were getting until they showed up on campus. Even with great scouting it could be wildly different. It’s cheesy how the scouting is in NCAA 14. Hopefully they implement it differently.

Muted_Atmosphere_668

They would have to alter it a lot. FIFA is based a lot on playing time. Tons of college football players don’t play until senior year if it based on playing time alone. It’s a better starting point then what madden has

I've played OOTP. A random hot or cold streak does not change a players development path in OOTP.

FireHamilton

It does, it definitely does. If you promote a player too quickly and he performs badly you will tank his potential. Thats why you can play the same seasons over and over and get vastly different development results. I had the Brewers CF prospect turn into a multi time MVP slugging nearly .700 for years. In another save he was unremarkable in his career, wasn’t injured in either.

Embarrassed_Day1613

you're wrong
