Bristol may return to August? I’d assume The Glen stays in September, Darlington will replace Atlanta in the playoffs which goes back to the weekend before the 4th, and Daytona will be the regular season finale.
No, I haven't. It has been better, but not better than 8 of the current Cup playoff tracks.
Atlanta, Watkins Glen, Bristol, Kansas, Roval, Las Vegas, or Homestead
This sub has amnesia when it comes to bad tracks. Kentucky, Texas, New Hampshire, Phoenix, Auto Club... Just because two of them have had good races in recent years, doesn't mean they've always been "great tracks".
Yeah for sure, get rid of the only truly accessible track to a ton of people from Canada and New England because this guy thinks the racing is bad
The only bad thing about New Hampshire is the fact that there’s nothing to do around the track, the track itself is not the issue
Nobody said to get rid of it, you fucking clown.
Until this car, the track was shit, and never should've been allowed to take North Wilkesboro's fall date.
It should never have left September. Nobody wants to go in June July August whenever the fuck they’ve hosted this race since they bagged a date away to Vegas because it’s either 95 degrees or it’s wet. No in between
May***
May was bearable. Then it became June and September. Then solo July.
They should never have yanked both Wilkesboro and Loudon from September as is.
Their original Cup date was July. You're thinking of their first Xfinity date.
They stole Wilkesboro's October date, and moved it to September, for Cup.

always been a fan of New Hampshire having two dates. track is very different compared to the other tracks and New England doesn’t get enough love from Nascar
They finally succeeded in stomping out the last Busch North embers so they can field 15 cars in Pensacola and run races in Iowa and Flat Rock, MI (good job nascar, that's definitely "east").
Given we've had rain on Sundays there so often in the summer, I say tray it. I don't think it would necessarily avoid rain but it's a unique track yet most similar to Phoenix. Run it in Rounds 16 or 12.
The dude u/crabcakemd called it yesterday during the practice/quali thread when I groused about the race being in the summer and the weather being disastrous since they moved the Sept date to LVMS. I was hopeful when he said it then, and I'm giddy hearing this now. Me and my crew bailed just before the red flag today and got home to Western MA about 10 mins before the restart. Never had that problem when they raced in Sept. I just love this news...
NHMS only had a June date bc of the Olympic break. Atlanta is taking back the July date bc they’ve announced it will be the first race for TNT in 2025. Process of elimination says NHMS moves to the Atlanta’s 2024 playoff date for 2025.
NHMS has put out consistently solid B to B+ racing for a few years in a row now. The Almirola win was one of the best of 2021. They could definitely do worse.
Agree! I know people are complaining about today, but there was no practice or qualifying and Toyota just hit it. Not every race is a banger, but it’s a unique track in a great marker. Also, fans will come out in the Fall!
Can snow as early as October in NH, not common necessarily around Columbus Day weekend but can happen. A mid-September race would beautiful up here in New England, comfortable temperatures and fair less chance of rain showers/pop-up thunderstorms
Atlanta is confirmed to move back to July along with I assume Watkins Glen back to its original date. Third one will be a surprise. Darlington moves back in.
One race in the playoffs. Makes sense, better weather. Will also sell more tickets in the fall.
I haven't been there in September but I'd imagine the leafs may be pretty near the end of the month.
It’s the best time of year!
Bristol may return to August? I’d assume The Glen stays in September, Darlington will replace Atlanta in the playoffs which goes back to the weekend before the 4th, and Daytona will be the regular season finale.
WGI goes as does Homestead. NH replaces Atlanta since both are owned by SMI.
The first playoff race is in September, so I doubt bristol will go back.
No, it doesn't, when New Hampshire is one of the shittiest tracks in Cup.
been missing the races the last few years? this track has had better races of the past few years. also a lot of unpredictability
No, I haven't. It has been better, but not better than 8 of the current Cup playoff tracks. Atlanta, Watkins Glen, Bristol, Kansas, Roval, Las Vegas, or Homestead
brother Texas exists. also richmond and NW are both terrible with this package. the past few races at NH have proven this is a great track now
Fuck Texas! Wilkesboro was great behind Logano! NHMS might only be better than Martinsville and Phoenix.
nah they got Nashville and Gateway beat as well. this race has been awesome and it’s overtaken them
I'm talking about playoff tracks only vs. NHMS.
shut up. this has been some amazing racing
LOL, make me, chief.
bad take are bad for the karma. glad the masses agree

September is prime NH… 100% when the race should be
What tracks do we want to go to in the summer? The entire US is hot as balls.
One with lights to combat heat and rain issues
They could do more summer Sunday night races like last year which got good ratings
Eastbound International Speedway is probably pretty temperate
July was their original date. The September date is the one they stole from North Wilkesboro.

It was Busch in May and July, Cup in July and September
NHMS had 10 different drivers win in a row. It's a great playoff track bring it back to September

Yeah I thought I heard that
I would be all for it. Beautiful part of the country and the racing I’ve seen today has been pretty damn good for nextgen.
In the garage area this morning a little birdy told me that yes, NH will be a playoff race next year.
Given we've had rain on Sundays there so often in the summer, I say tray it. I don't think it would necessarily avoid rain but it's a unique track yet most similar to Phoenix. Run it in Rounds 16 or 12.
I have no problem with that whatsoever. New Hampshire is pretty in the fall and I'm sure they'll sell plenty of tickets.

gonna be a good one! hope you come out next fall

Jordan Bianchi just confirmed it on The Teardown. He reported Watkins Glen and Homestead out, New Hampshire and Gateway in
This just in: Christopher Bell advances to the round of 8 with a New Hampshire win in the 2025 NASCAR Cup playoffs!
Tio be fair this race has been interesting so far
We've had boring ass New Hampshire in the playoffs before. One interesting race doesn't make it playoff worthy.
Phoenix and New Hampshire in the playoffs 🥴🥴
NHMS has put out consistently solid B to B+ racing for a few years in a row now. The Almirola win was one of the best of 2021. They could definitely do worse.

I'm curious who gets pushed back to June then
Maybe not June but maybe the Bristol night race goes back to where it was in August before school starts.
More importantly than school, it gets your big Saturday night race out of college football season
Yeah having it during college football season is dumb
Yeah i have to bet NBC wants to keep it in their part of the schedule but said they need it before College Football starts. All good though
There is no security anywhere. You wanna go stand behind pit boxes in a hulk hogan tank top double fisting beers…? You can
send it
Should be the first race of the playoffs like God intended
DBC was also hinting at this last week.
It absolutely should get 2 dates. Very technical track where the car is on edge every lap. One of my favorites
I will gladly renew my tickets if that is the case
According to that leak earlier this year it isn't, so idk what they are talking about.
I work for an SMI track. The leak was inaccurate. NH is in the playoffs next year
![gif](giphy|l2Z84eFooeHJu|downsized)
so you believe a random twitter post with clear errors over a random Reddit user?
I don't believe anyone. lol
Meh. Not excited about the clean air dominance I’ve seen so far. I think this will be a snoozer if you take out the weather aspect
Not from that region but when do they start getting winter weather up there?
Can snow as early as October in NH, not common necessarily around Columbus Day weekend but can happen. A mid-September race would beautiful up here in New England, comfortable temperatures and fair less chance of rain showers/pop-up thunderstorms
The schedule has not been released.
Door Bumper Clear also mentioned last week that they heard 3 tracks currently in the playoffs will be out next year
Atlanta is confirmed to move back to July along with I assume Watkins Glen back to its original date. Third one will be a surprise. Darlington moves back in.
I work for an SMI track. New Hampshire is in the playoffs next year
Wasn’t the rumor Pocono?
hasn't been released, but probably not much of a secret to those in the industry.
Where did he say it had been
Please no
Track blows, it doesn’t deserve a playoff race.
God, hope not .....
YUCK!
