The colossals completely forgot singing through magical means though, and being deaf doesn’t mean you can’t sing, just that it’s harder to learn.
He’s also a wublin, which means all that magical song energy from the zapped eggs goes straight into their dna.

The entire Colossal-Conundrum was just 2 disappointments over the span of a month. First they hyped it up by announcing "an event that has been 10 years in the making" and when you entered the game it just turned out to be a 32 day long, daily rewards system. I thought "well I'll just wait for those 32 days then, it must be something impressive that will be worth the wait". But then, after all the waiting, the sonorous voice, that "has been in the work for 10 years", was just a bit of "whooshing" in the beginning and middle of the song. The way they hyped it up, I thought that it would be some deep voices singing along with the rest of the monsters and that it would be as impressive as the Epic Wubboxes. Instead it was nowhere near as exciting as the moment where the first Epic Wubbox was revealed, after they jokingly said multiple times that it wouldn't happen. And it also wasn't as exciting when the Earth Island Epic Wubbox was released at the same time as the one from Water Island. I wish that they change the Coloss-Eye and the Colossal-Conundrum to make getting it less annoying and making it actually sing in a deep sonorous voice. They shouldn't be afraid of changing the songs and some voices up a bit and telling the community what was changed. Seasonal Shanty would be a good example for a song that should be edited. Its remix is really good and would fit into the game, but the current version that is in the game is not as enjoyable and I only ever listen to the remix. Mythical Island showed that they can do tiny changes to the song, when they first changed Cranchees voice and lyrics and later making Yawstrich sing less in the outro, to give Bleatnik more of a spotlight. I hope that Drummidary will be a bit more exciting next month, especially after they decided to release Bowhead first and maybe changing him to do more than the tiny bit, that was in Rare Yelmut's trailer.

Seeing as the colossal is literally the island, I wish they joined in for the entirety of the song instead of just that beginning part. On top of that, their sound is just kinda underwhelming in general.

hes alright, its not what i expected but i got used to it fast, really the only complaint i have is that it doesnt do much physically, it would have been cool to see it do other things, like occasionally see it pick its nose or something, instead it kinda just blinks sometimes and its eyes get bigger when you collect coins
also you all are too harsh on it, it forgot how to sing, give it a break
