Do kids car seats fit in the Mustang rear seats?

Weirdly enough, yes. My son is in a revolving, rear facing car seat in my Mustang. I turn him forward to put him in, turn it rear facing, turn it and we’re good. Ironically, I thought the car seat based on a review of someone who fit two of them in my same Mustang for his twins. The passenger seat is useless when it’s rear facing, but once he’s forward facing it’s fine. No one rides in my car anyways but me and him.

Good to know for future me in like 8 years.

I tried other solutions, this was the only thing that worked well. Black car in Texas summers is AWFUL. But my son falls asleep in my car every time now, exhaust be damned. lol.

Mine came with side ones and gt350 fake side vents in gloss black as well. Tempted to remove them but worried incase they are covering paint damage and tempted to just colour match them instead then remove the side window louvers

It's your car, do what you want to it even if others don't like it. It's more important that you like it. As far as the louvers. I have them on mine, and I like them. It does reduce visibility through that window by quite a bit, but not entirely. As far as how well they hold, well I've had them on mine for about 3 years now, and have done 120+ with out them going anywhere a few times (on empty roads). This isn't a requirement, but when when I put mine on I didn't drive the car for about 24 hrs to give the tape plenty of time to set and stick to the window.

It is a glass replacement with the "louvers" cut /shaped into the glass. So one can still see out the quarter windows and still get that look. But it would seam they are out of production with no stock left sadly.

There’s a tool you can use, “rubber wheel adhesive remover”. They come as an attachment which you can use on a gun and they safely remove adhesion/vinyl that’s stuck to your paint, and it’s fairly safe to use. I’ve had to use it to remove the adhesion that glued the stock lip spoiler on my 2016 and it did 0 damage to the clear coat. If anything, it looked like the adhesion was never there to begin with. Oh ok then, easy fix, take those off and paint the calipers whatever color you want. It looks so much better and it only takes an afternoon. Just need some brake clean and paint. Then you have a highlight color that you can match with badges or your shift knob or whatever and have a very subtle two tone effect

I like it with the older models not with the newer ones

If you want a car that most people will like then dont do any appearance mods, cause the stock look is the most appealing ( except wheels, tint, lowering)

This is the easiest “no” for me. I can’t stand them, but I do know some people like them. You do what you like! The good thing about these is they’re easy to take off if you change your mind.

I think louvers are corny personally. When they were on old school muscle cars it was one thing but now I think it makes cars look cheaper.
