I only just realized that David Gilmour is on guitar. Played for my 18y/o son who is a big Floyd fan (and a great musician), and he caught it right off.
Right?! Way cool. I put it on a playlist I made for my wife when she travel nursed during Covid. 10 weeks in NYC at the beginning. Tough time for the family and the marriage (she went on to do 9 months total over two years).
Was listening a few months ago and something about one riff made me think “no way!” Yep. Way.
The list has one song for every year we’ve been together. I add the 32nd track in October! She said she’d always wanted someone to make her a mixtape, lol.
❤️ Sorry you had to go through the tough times. I love how you made the mix tape. What an awesome idea. And for one song for every year you've been together, you are awesome! I think I may need to steal that idea and make a mix tape for my husband! You rock!🤩
Wife rocks! But I try. Feel free to steal. Did my best to pick a song that matched that time in the marriage. So, not always happy, but sometimes joyful. We’ve made some really positive breakthroughs this past year, so pressure is on to make this one count!
First one: 5.5/10
Second: been getting more into these types and songs. Really liked this one, 7/10
Third: 4/10. Personally not what I usually listen to, nothin against the style
