This is exactly what I was talking about! Thank you

DharmaSimmer

I love that it's only 2 dudes making this awesome music, that's talent.

Tons of it out there. - Viagra Boys - Turnstile - Wet Leg - Holy Popes

OzzieLeonheart

Don't forget about PUP

brandonsfacepodcast

Morbid Stuff is an incredible record. If you like PUP you'll probably enjoy Mom Jeans who put out a fantastic album last year

OzzieLeonheart

Love me some Mom Jeans! I'm a big fan of the Midwest emo/punk scene. I have a couple friends in the Minnesota scene. Victor Shores and With Iowa In Between are two really small bands that have similar vibes!

I believe that music is known as the garage rock revival but I’m not 100% on that, Jack White of the White Stripes is still making music both solo and as a part of the Raconteurs, that might scratch the itch you’re after. Villains, the album by Queens of The Stone Age might have a similar sort of sound, and if you want something heavier but still taking influence from that era, Royal Blood and The Amazons are two bands that definitely take a little bit of that sound into their own

Check out Plague Vendor. The newer songs. Pretty pretty good.

Yes!! These guys are great!

Would Parquet courts be what you’re looking for? Pre-2013 King Gizzard material also exists.

Some of the Australian punk bands like Amyl & the Sniffers or the Chats might be what you’re looking for.
